"Consider This a Formal Confession. I Ran Claudia's Car Off the Road"

Alexis: Carly, I need you to help me figure out where Michael might be hiding.

Carly: You don't give a damn about Michael. You only care about Kristina.

Alexis: All right, tell me where Sonny and Jason would be hiding, because that's probably where Michael may have taken Kristina.

Carly: Stop blaming Michael. He didn't cause Claudia's accident!

Alexis: Whatever he did or didn't do, he made it worse by running off with her!

Carly: No, you're the reason this is happening. You're trying to frame Michael because you're the one who ran Claudia off the road.

Alexis: [Sighs]

Alexis: Why don't we just admit that I'm worried about my daughter the same as you are about your son. So why don't we just pool our resources to bring our children home, rather than stand here and make baseless accusations--

Carly: You're worried that if Michael doesn't come back, someone is going to find out who really caused the accident.

Jax: You need to stay calm.

Carly: I'm calm. You know what? I'm just sick and tired of hearing about Alexis' integrity when she has a history of lies and criminal acts. How about Stefan and Katherine Bell? You didn't want them together.

Alexis: Honestly, I don't have time for this.

Carly: Or when you stabbed Luis Alcazar and pushed him over the balcony. You walked away from that murder conviction because you pleaded insanity.

Alexis: I give up. This is a waste of time.

Carly: How about your affair with Mayor Floyd and all your pathetic and desperate emails to the man? Have you solved his dead secretary's murder yet? Have you?!

Jax: Carly, please, this is not helping us find Michael and Kristina.

Carly: Fine! I am just trying--

Jax: Shh.

Carly: I am just trying to say...that Alexis is clearly capable of railroading Michael to cover her tracks.

Alexis: [Sighs]

Michael: Oh, those were some good fish tacos.

Kristina: I saw tortillas and fish, and I figured if they had cheese and salsa, we'd be fine. I also know how to make a really good spaghetti and meatball. Viola taught me.

Michael: One more thing you learned how to do when I was in a coma.

Kristina: I learned a long time ago. Don't you cook?

Michael: I never had to. Dad was a genius at it.

Kristina: Yeah, but it'd be something you guys could do together, you know, like a bonding thing?

Michael: Is that why you learned, for Dad?

Kristina: That would be stupid, wouldn't it? I mean, Dad doesn't have time to cook with me. So, when did you learn how to pick a lock?

Michael: Uh, Max. He's full of useful information that he likes to pass along. Between everything we know, I'm sure we'll do fine out here alone.

Kristina: I suppose. Unless running away is a mistake.

Michael: Kids run away. What we're doing is heading out on our own. And it's the only choice for me after what I've done.

Kristina: And you're still positive it was you who caused the accident?

Michael: This thing happens to me when I get mad, Kristina. I can't think. Claudia got forced off the road, I didn't stop, and her baby ended up dead.

Kristina: But nobody saw it, including you. I'm just saying that--

Michael: I'm sure there's plenty of people who wish I had never woke up from a coma, you know? But since that's impossible, leaving Port Charles is the right thing to do.

Kristina: So, other than that, do you have anything resembling a plan?

Alexis: Do you really want to compare regrettable actions, Carly? 'Cause you got a long list--

Carly: Bring it on, Alexis!

Jax: Alexis, please do not do that. No.

Alexis: You're right. I don't want to upset you, don't want to upset the baby. So let's start again, mother to mother.

Carly: All right, mother to mother. Michael's car was not at the scene.

Alexis: Oh, God.

Carly: It was a light-colored hybrid, kind of like the car that you drive.

Alexis: I've made a lot of mistakes in my life, but do you honestly think that I would run a pregnant woman off the road, leave her there, and try to frame her teenage son for it?

Jax: No. I don’t.

Carly: Okay. You know, you may not have set out to frame Michael, but when he mistakenly confessed, you were more than happy to--

Alexis: All I want to do is bring our children home. Will you please get her to cooperate?

Carly: Get me to cooperate? Are you kidding me?

Jax: All right. I will call you if we hear from them, okay?

[Door slams]

Carly: You could have taken my side!

Jax: I am on your side!

Carly: Really? Because it didn't feel like it.

Sonny: Here's the thing. Jason doesn't believe it was Michael who drove you off the road.

Claudia: He confessed.

Sonny: Carly was there. She's positive it wasn't Michael's car.

Claudia: But you're not.

Sonny: [Sighs, clears throat] Look, I know that Michael's already paid for other people's mistakes, my mistakes, and he lost a year of his life 'cause of violence that was aimed at me. And my first... reaction was... revenge.

Claudia: Revenge... only brings more violence.

Sonny: I just want this whole thing to be...over. Can you just back up Carly's story, like you said you would?

[Door opens]

Alexis: I'm really sorry to bother you right now... and my condolences to both of you.

Sonny: It's not a--

Alexis: This is about two of your children. Michael's taken Kristina and run.

Jax: Look, Mac, I know that Carly's been known to bend the truth from time to time, but she swears the car she saw wasn't Michael’s.

Mac: Jax, I can't run this case based on what could be Carly's wishful thinking. I need sub--

Diane: You need proof? Well, I may be able to help you with that.

Jax: I was beginning to think you changed your mind.

Diane: I'm sure by the time this is all over, I will wish I had. I have a very good friendship riding on this.

Jax: So do I.

Mac: Will someone tell me what's going on?

Diane: Court order for both vehicles currently registered to Alexis Davis to be inspected for evidence pertaining to the Claudia Corinthos accident.

Mac: Are you sure you want to do this?

Diane: Wasn't Alexis your prime suspect before the very questionable confession by Michael, which was obtained without benefit of counsel, might I add.

Mac: I'm just saying Alexis is going through a tough time right now.

Jax: All we're asking is that you let forensics look at Alexis' cars. It could rule her out as a suspect and it probably will.

Michael: We should go. There's-- someone's gonna be looking for us, anyway.

Kristina: Are you sure we should go to Mexico?

Michael: Well, everyone's gonna assume we're going to Canada, so we should go down south instead.

Kristina: What about money?

Michael: Are you always this negative?

Kristina: I'm practical. I like to plan ahead and know what's where.

Michael: Look, I'll get a job somewhere. I learned enough Spanish from Leticia to get by. And you can get a job, too. Making fish tacos.

Kristina: Ha. If you think I'm going to get a job to support you, get over it.

Michael: All right, look, I'll sell the car once we get there. It's worth a lot of money. And I can drive a boat. I learned on the island.

Kristina: I'm pretty sure Dad didn't expect you to turn that into a profession.

Michael: Well, it's one of the few marketable skills I have, so don't criticize.

Kristina: It's gonna be weird.

Michael: Look, I'm not gonna be mad at you if you just don't want to do this.

Kristina: Why would I leave now?

Michael: You're not the one who woke up from a coma with anger issues. You're not the one who has a mom who could die if she gets too upset. You didn't run Claudia off the road and kill your unborn baby brother.

[Glass breaks]

Michael: Hey, what's--

Kristina: I'm sorry.

Michael: What's the matter? What's the matter? What'd I say? What happened?

Michael: So, do you want to tell me what that whole meltdown was all about?

Kristina: I'm sorry. I probably haven't slept for about 24 hours. And when I think about how bad all this is for Dad and Claudia and you...

Michael: I'll be fine. And, you know, Dad'll be okay if I'm not around for him to worry about. And Mom will have a rough time at first, but it'd be worse if she had to sit through that hearing, or whatever was gonna happen to me. You know, once she's had her baby, things'll be different.

Kristina: You've really thought this through.

Michael: But your life doesn't have to change. I can drop you off at the bus stop. You can tell people that you were trying to find me but that I was way ahead of you. Seriously, you don't have to get mixed up in all this.

Kristina: I know I should be scared or nervous or something, but being in the car with you, breaking into this place, doing what we want, I don't feel like I have to prove myself to anyone. It feels free.

Michael: Well, I mean, what about school? You've always been the smartest person I know.

Kristina: School's just another way to please my mom.

Michael: [Sighs]

Kristina: Maybe this time I can do what I want.

Michael: Well, I'm the fugitive. You don't have to do any of this.

Kristina: We're in this together, Michael. Wherever you go, I'm right there with you.

Mac: Both D.A. Davis' cars are in the garage with S.I.D. They'll let us know as soon as they have a preliminary analysis.

Jax: Does Alexis know yet?

Alexis: Would you mind telling me what's going on here?

Diane: That would be a yes.

Alexis: Why would you go to Judge Jameson without telling me?

Jax: That was my idea.

Alexis: And you?

Diane: As Michael's attorney, I owe him due diligence, no matter how much I might respect--

Alexis: You do owe him due diligence, so give it to him, because he confessed. And God forbid, if he did it, then Carly is perjuring herself.

Jax: Oh, I don't agree with that.

Jax: Look, Michael's confused and upset, okay? He's been through a lot. And I also believe my wife when she says that she saw a light-colored compact.

Mac: As soon as S.I.D. clears Alexis' cars, we can be done with this and you can move on.

Lucky: This came from the garage. Forensics found something.

Mac: Hey, Dale.

Dale: Oh.

Mac: What have we got?

Dale: Well, we went over the other hybrid, and it's clean. But this one--there's a small scrape at the back of the bumper which is concurrent with a brush against another car. Right there. We pulled a paint chip for the lab. It looks like the same color match for the car that Claudia Corinthos was driving the night of the accident.

Lucky: This car made contact with Claudia's?

Dale: Well, it made contact with some other vehicle.

Lucky: Thank you. Why don't you put a rush on the analysis of that paint chip?

Dale: Mm-hmm.

Mac: So, which car were you driving that night, Alexis? You mentioned other people had access to your car. Viola. Who else?

Alexis: It was me. Consider this a formal confession. I ran Claudia's car off the road.
