Dominic:
Eh, sorry. I didn't mean to scare you.
Kristina:
It's cool. Um, Dominic, right?
Dominic:
Yeah, good memory.
Kristina:
What are you doing here?
Dominic:
I'm looking for you.
Kristina:
Why?
Dominic:
When we met at Sonny's, you were willing to help me. I'm hoping
my luck will hold.
Kristina:
I'm curious. How did you know where to find me?
Dominic:
Well, I'm a genius, too. I got 10,000 on my SATs.
Kristina:
They only go up to 2400.
Dominic:
I did them 15 times. Okay, so maybe I'm not so smart. Your mom is
the D.A. How hard could you be to find?
Kristina:
That's real interesting, because if you worked for my dad, you'd
know where my mom lives.
Dominic:
What are you, a budding detective?
Kristina:
Am I right?
Dominic:
So far.
Kristina:
So what were you doing at my dad's house? Were you there to hurt
him?
Dominic:
Absolutely not, just the opposite. I think I could be of value to
Mr. Corinthos. I want to work for him. But in order to accomplish
my goal, I have to find a way to make him notice me in an impressive
way. There's where you come in.
Kristina:
What do you want me to do?
Dominic:
Get me access to your dad's house.
Kristina:
What do you mean, access to my father's house?
Dominic:
You must know the combination of the security system.
Kristina:
Yeah, but why would I tell you?
Dominic:
Because I'm charming and I asked so nicely.
Kristina:
You're going to have to do better than that. For all I know, you
want to rip my dad off or something. Plus, I don't even know you.
Why would I want to help you?
Dominic:
It might get you in good with your father. You live for that, right?
Kristina:
I'm listening.
Dominic:
A good, loyal soldier is a valuable thing in Sonny's world. A general
tends to be grateful when one comes his way.
Kristina:
But Dad wouldn't know I'm the one he should be grateful to because
we couldn't tell him I had given you the security code. And he would
be so furious about that, he wouldn't listen to the rest.
Dominic:
All right, you think way too much.
Kristina:
It's my curse, handed down by my mother.
Dominic:
Would you lighten up? I don't mean your father any harm. I admire
him. I want the privilege of working for him.
Kristina:
As what, some kind of killer?
Dominic:
Do I look like a killer? Yeah? Cool. Thanks. The truth? I'd like
to be on security detail. I'm a big protector by nature, and I always
repay my debts. You help me out. I'll find a way to return the favor.
[Car
approaches]
Kristina:
It's my sister Molly. Don't worry.
Molly:
Thank Mrs. Freeman. I'll text you later, Sarah. Feel better. Who
are you?
Dominic:
Land shark.
Molly:
What?
Dominic:
Pizza delivery.
Molly:
Where's the pizza?
Dominic:
I ate it on the way.
Kristina:
He thinks he's funny.
Dominic:
I'm a messenger, and I've got places to be. Nice meeting you both.
Molly:
What were you talking to him about?
Kristina:
None of your business, Miss nosey.
Molly:
Well, why is it a secret?
Kristina:
It's not a secret. It's just unremarkable.
Molly:
But you think he's cute, don't you?
Kristina:
Don't you?
Patrick:
Before we get any further about speculating who killed Brianna --
Robin:
I don't think it's speculation. I would consider it a real educated
guess.
Patrick:
Are you going to let me ask you to dinner or not?
Robin:
Sure. Why would you take me to dinner? We're married.
Patrick:
Well, that's exactly why. Marriage doesn't have to equal mundane.
So are you going to come to the Metro Court and have dinner with
me or not?
Robin:
Sure, but we could also talk about the case.
Patrick:
I was thinking something a little more romantic.
Robin:
Listen, let's do what we do best, okay. We'll multitask. Let's consider
that, first of all, Mayor Floyd was telling the truth, that he loved
Brianna, he was intending to marry her, and he was going to ask
Andrea for a divorce. She saw it coming.
Patrick:
Okay, yeah, that sounds like motive. And I do have to admit that
when he declared his love for Brianna, my first instinct was to
believe him.
Robin:
She probably loved him back. All indications say that she did.
Patrick:
What about the money in the account?
Robin:
I don't know. I haven't quite figured that out yet, but I don't
think it came from Mayor Floyd. If they were planning on getting
married, she would have no reason to blackmail him. On the other
hand, all those years of service was about to be thrown back in
Andrea's face -- this ambitious Woman thrown out in the cold. People
have killed for less.
Patrick:
Okay, yeah, that makes sense. But Robin, I'm having a hard time
believing that she would commit murder just to save her marriage.
That's a strong reaction.
Robin:
Well, not in the cold-blooded sense. Let's say that Andrea knew
that Mayor Floyd and Brianna were meeting up at the Metro Court,
okay? She followed them intending to, you know, confront them. She
got into the room somehow. Brianna had already hit her head. And
so she just decided to take advantage of the opportunity -- killed
Brianna and tried to make it look like an accident.
Patrick:
There was a small window of time when the Mayor went to go get aspirin.
Robin:
Yes.
Alexis:
Have either of you come up with alternative murder suspects in the
Brianna Hughes case?
Robin:
We've had some theories we've been tossing back and forth but nothing
you can take to a judge.
Alexis:
Anything you can tell me?
Robin:
I'd rather wait. We rushed to judgment before. The mayor got arrested,
and you got caught up in this whole scandal.
Alexis:
Don't blame yourself. I'm the idiot who
slept with a married man, if only for one night.
Patrick:
Robin's got a point. If the Mayor is innocent, then a lot of damage
was caused unnecessarily.
Robin:
I'd rather get the facts straight before I point the finger at anybody
else.
Alexis:
Okay, so you're having second-thoughts about the Mayor's guilt.
Robin:
If he really loved Brianna, which I think he did, then it doesn't
make sense for him to kill her. I don't know. You know the mayor
better than we do, the man behind the public persona. Do you honestly
think he's capable of murdering someone in cold blood?
Alexis:
I know that he's a ruthless politician, but he's also capable of
being a decent guy. He was nice to me at one time. Still, I can't
think of another alternative.
Molly:
Admit it. You liked that messenger.
Kristina:
Don't be ridiculous. I don't even know him.
Molly:
Well, you don't have to know a guy to flirt with him.
Kristina:
You're so far off base.
Molly:
Hmm, I wonder what Mom would say?
Kristina:
Well, we'll never know, will we -- because no one's going to tell
her, right?
Molly:
Right.
Kristina:
Pinky swear.
Molly:
Pinky swear.
Molly:
Hey, did mom say anything else about kissing the mayor?
Kristina:
That's something she's not going to want to talk about. Mom's really
upset that she did it and that everyone found out. So if you want
to help her, try to act like none of this is happening.
Molly:
Okay.
Alexis:
Hey -- Kristina, you've got to keep the door closed. Molly, what
are you doing here? I thought you were at the movies.
Molly:
Sarah got sick. Her mom picked us up and brought me home.
Alexis:
Oh, I'm sorry. I know you wanted to see that movie. How about we
go now?
Molly:
Really?
Alexis:
Sure. We can all go. Why not?
Molly:
That'd be awesome.
Alexis:
Good. Come here. Give your mother a big, juicy kiss. And then go
get dressed. Put a jacket on. We'll have popcorn for dinner. How
about that? Okay, so anything happen while I was gone?
Kristina:
Like what?
Alexis:
Did anyone come by?
Kristina:
No, were you expecting someone?
Alexis:
The press have been all over me, and I'm worried they're going to
be swarming around here and bothering you. So if they do, you know
what to do, right?
Kristina:
I'll call the police.
Alexis:
Good girl. So how's Molly? Did she ask anything about the mayor?
Kristina:
Molly hasn't said anything about Mayor Floyd. I don't really think
she understands.
Alexis:
Let's be grateful for small favors. Maybe the less we make of this,
the sooner the whole thing will go away.
Kristina:
Do you think it will be that easy? Just to wish everything away?
Alexis:
Your friends are giving you a hard time, aren't they?
Kristina:
Mom, don't you get it? This is disgusting. No one wants to talk
about it, especially me.
Molly:
All set. You want to come?
Kristina:
I have a lot of work to do.
Alexis:
Are you sure, sweetie? Please, it's been a long time since all three
of us have done something together. Are you sure?
Kristina:
I'm sure.
Alexis:
Okay, let's go.
Molly:
Okay.
Alexis:
Lock up, honey, okay?
