Jerry: Hello. It appears that a lot has happen since I last saw you. I can only apologize and hope that --

Alexis: Don't you dare apologize to me because there is nothing that you can say that will excuse what you did.

Alexis: You agreed to keep your eyes on my daughter in her hospital bed while I took a break. But you didn’t. You vanished, you disappeared. You want to know what happened while you did that? Some maniac came in and tried to kill her. Then he showed up on my deck and scared the hell out of my other daughter, who's now walking around in a catatonic state. So you have a lot of nerve thinking you can walk in here and apologize to me like you left me in the middle of a movie before it ended, because whatever excuses you come up with won't cut it.

Jerry: I was burying someone, Alexis.

Alexis: You're going to need a much bigger bouquet than that if you ever want to show up at my front door again.

Jerry: Actually, it's not for you.

Lainey: Have a seat here. Okay.

Alexis: Hi, sweetie. Feeling all right?

Lainey: Let me talk to you.

Jerry: Hi there, darling. I thought this might brighten your day. See? See how wonderful it looks with your coat? Come on, here, take it. There you go.

Alexis: So?

Lainey: Well, the good news is she's not as shut off as she was the last time.

Alexis: Good news.

Lainey: Well, and the bad news is if we can't get through to what she saw, then it's going to take longer to get through.

Jerry: And the last time was?

Alexis: She saw Sam kill someone.

Lainey: Just watch her, keep engaging her, but don't push the issue of her remembering one way or the other. I'm going to need to see her again soon.

Alexis: All right, I'll call you.

Lainey: Okay. Bye, Kristina. I will see you in the next day or so, all right? And if you want to talk to me, you just tell your mom, okay? Call me if there are any sudden changes?

Alexis: I will. Thank you, Lainey.

Lainey: Okay.

Alexis: Ooh. I'd like to smell that, it smells so good.

[Alexis sniffs]

Jerry: I'd be -- I'd be honored to be added to your patrol.

Alexis: Explain something to me. Why was it so important to you to help Maxie set up this proper burial for Cooper?

Jerry: Well, I didn't get to that because Lainey pulled you into her office and -- I mean, you are still my lawyer, and we still have confidentiality, don't we?

Alexis: Somehow, I'm afraid we still do.

Jerry: Well, it's the past, and I had one with Cooper Barrett. I mean, nothing would be solved by bringing this to light, but -- you see, Cooper Barrett was one of my men during the hostage crisis and Maxie knew it. They were both locked up in the vault together, and somehow they -- they hit it off. And sadly, Cooper Barrett had no one else in the world but that lovesick girl and -- and yours truly, so I -- I just wanted to make it up to them. And I'm sorry about Sam, and I'm sorry about my dereliction of duty -- I apologize.

Alexis: Who are you? Never mind. I'm sure you have other undisclosed confidentialities that could be much worse. Come on, Kristina. Let's go home. Let's go see Molly.

Jerry: Here you go.

Alexis: Thank you. Come on, baby, it's all right. There we go. This way, this way. There you go. Come on, sweetheart, we'll go home and see your sister, huh? We'll make popcorn, watch a Disney movie. Wouldn't that be fun?
