Nikolas:
Hi. Thanks for -- thanks for coming all the way out here. How you
feeling?
Alexis:
Much better than you would be my guess.
Nikolas:
Yeah, I've just been up all night. Elizabeth's -- she's not -- not
doing too well.
Alexis:
Did she have her baby?
Nikolas:
Yes, yeah, she did, and he's fine, but she had to have an emergency
cesarean, started hemorrhaging again. She's still unconscious.
Alexis:
Oh. I'm sorry to hear that.
[Nikolas
coughs]
Nikolas:
Yeah.
Alexis:
Although, I know that's not why you asked me here. What is -- what
is going on? Is there something wrong with your health? Because
you don't look like you feel well, and I know that you haven't felt
well for weeks.

Nikolas:
No, it's just that I just can't seem to get rid of the flu, that's
all.
Alexis:
Ok, have you seen a doctor?
Nikolas:
Yes -- Patrick and Robin are taking care of -- look, I'd rather
not get into details now, if that's all right.
Alexis:
Ok. All right, I'll drop the subject.
Nikolas:
Thank you.
Alexis:
I'm just going to tell you that I have 9-1-1 on speed dial, should
you need it. What's up? What's up, Nikolas?
Nikolas:
I'd like to -- I'd like to discuss some details in my will.
Alexis: I want you to note my professional detachment. Never mind
that you look like you should be at a hospital, and you are seeing
a neurosurgeon and a neuro-pathologist. And now you want your will
updated?
Nikolas:
It's because of Lucky's baby.
Alexis:
Lucky's baby is a day old.
[Nikolas
sighs]
Nikolas:
I want to make provisions as I have for Kristina, Molly, and Cameron,
and I would also like to make sure that my appointment of Emily
as Spencer's guardian is airtight and unbreakable.
Alexis:
You never really broke up with Emily at all, did you? And now she
knows that you're probably dying.
Alexis: You pushed Emily away, right? To protect her. That's what
this out-of-nowhere breakup is about?
Nikolas:
Yes.
Alexis:
And this romance that you have with Robin is a cover-up, right?
Because she's your doctor?
Nikolas:
Yes.
Alexis:
And Emily figured it out? Am I right?
Nikolas:
Ahem -- she does have a special understanding of the situation,
yes.
Alexis:
Ok, Nikolas, if polite but oblique is the way you're going to play
this, then there's really not much I can do about that. Except tell
you that if you are sick, if there is something wrong with you,
you ought to take that really seriously. And you let the people
who care about you help you, Nikolas, and you be grateful for it.

Nikolas:
I am. More than you know.
