Look, I don't want you here. Why can't you understand that? Emily:
Because you're lying. Nikolas:
Look, I'm with Robin now. If you can't -- if you can't accept that,
then I apologize. Emily:
Nikolas, you can deny it all you want, but I know you, and I can
see that you're in trouble. So stop shutting me out and tell me
what's going on. Nikolas:
Yes, would you please get the launch ready? Emily's on her way down.

I love you. Why won't you let me help you? Nikolas:
If you do love me, then you stay the hell away from here. Emily:
Why are you so determined to push me away? Nikolas:
Look, I -- I hate seeing you hurt like this. So if you would just
please go home -- Emily:
Nikolas, what are you trying to protect me from? What, is there
somebody in this house? Alexis: Hi. I'm sorry. Am I interrupting something?
Nikolas:
No, no, Emily was just -- she was just leaving. Emily:

Look, I can see that you two are in the middle of something, so
if you could just tell me where Mr. Brosnan is, I'll leave you two
alone. Emily:
Mr. Brosnan? Nikolas:
He's a -- he's a business associate of mine. He's staying here while
-- while we finalize a deal. Alexis:
I was out in the yard picking wildflowers and I had one of those
dizzy spells, and so he was very nice and he helped me back to the
-- to the house, and he's been quite gentlemanly ever since. Emily:
He seems like a good man. Alexis: Well, he seems to be. Actually, I have a favor that I'd like to ask of him. Nikolas:
And what is that? Alexis:
I was -- I was going to ask him if he could escort me to Jax's wedding.
Nikolas:
No. No, you can't take him as a date. Alexis:
Why not?
Alexis:
I know why this might be a little embarrassing and difficult for
me, but why are you having such a hard time with my asking Mr. Brosnan
to Jax's wedding? Nikolas:
Because we're in the middle of a very important business deal. I
can't just ask him to forego a conference call so he can go out
on a date with my aunt. Alexis:
Well, you wouldn't have to -- I wouldn't want you to -- I'd ask
him myself. Nikolas:
You don't -- you don't even know him. Alexis:
I am standing up at Jax's wedding -- I'm the best person, ok? I
-- I don't know most of the people there, and -- and the ones that
I do know I -- I don't think I like. In fact, the only person that
I do know and like is Jax. He would be my first choice of courtesy
date, but since he's the groom, he's a little busy, which leaves
Mr. Brosnan. Nikolas: There has to be someone else, Alexis, come on.
Alexis:
I am a bald mother of three, soon to be divorced. There aren't a
lot of men knocking down my door. Mr. Brosnan has seen me at my
worst, and he hasn't run screaming into the night. So do me a favor,
have a heart, be a good nephew, give him that. Emily:
What's the problem with Mr. Brosnan? Nikolas:
He's a business associate of mine -- Emily:
No, it's more than that. Is he the reason you're pushing me away?
Nikolas:
Emily, I'm in love with Robin now. Ok? So if you have just an ounce
of dignity left in you, then you'll just -- then you just leave
it that, ok? Jax:
Oh, I'd like you to meet Alexis Davis. Alexis, this is Reverend
Wilson, he'll be officiating the ceremony.
Alexis:
Unless, of course, you change your mind. Jax:
That's funny. Alexis: Just kidding. Hi. I'm Alexis, I'm Jax's best person. I know that's very unconventional, which is why I accepted.
Jax:
I didn't realize the joker was part of the wedding party. Carly:
Jackal -- it's the jackal. Spinelli:
I came in to fill in for Stonecold -- who will most certainly be
at the wedding tomorrow. Jax:
"Stone cold," I think, is -- is Jason. Carly:
I know. Yeah. Ok, you know what? I don't need Jason here, I'm ok.
So you can go back to the apartment, put the suit back -- Lulu:
Uh -- Spinelli is only trying to help. If you send him home now,
he's going to be crushed -- just look at him. Carly:
Ok, fine. Guess what -- you get to be Jason. Spinelli: Oh, righteous. Ok, uh -- where -- ahem -- where do you want me? Rev. Rev.
Wilson: If you'll join Carly in the back of the room, we'll
begin. Carly:
Ok. Jax:
Ok. [Lulu
chuckles] Carly:
What are you doing? Spinelli:
I'm -- I'm trying to take up as -- you know, as much room as stone
cold does. Carly:
Ok, I need to be able to walk beside you. Ok? Ok. Spinelli:
Say no more. I -- Carly:
Ok. Right. Spinelli:
We don't -- I'm sorry. Carly: Just walk. Ok. Thank you. Rev. Rev.
Wilson: All right, then I'll start the ceremony by saying "dearly
beloved, we are gathered here today in the sight of god to join
this man and this woman together in holy matrimony." Then I'll
explain a little bit about the covenant of marriage, and ask the
congregation "if anyone here can show just cause why these
two people cannot be joined together, let them speak now or forever
hold their peace --" [Alexis coughs]
Rev. Wilson: "Forever hold their peace." Alexis:
No comment. Carly:
Why don't you just say it? I'd rather you say it now than tomorrow.
Carly:
If you are not here to support and participate in our wedding, there's
the door, and, Alexis, don't let it hit you on the -- Jax:
Hey! Alexis:
In court, that would be referred to as a redirect, which is an attempt
to draw the jury's attention -- Jax:
Ok, you know what? Alexis, you're not helping. Alexis: Friends don't let friends marry women who might be in a dysfunctional bond with another man.
Lulu:
Ok, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, but Carly is -- is only upset because
Jason's not here. Spinelli:
But he -- he will be, and until then, the jackal offers his support.
Alexis:
But what if she is not upset about Jason not being here and she's
upset that Sonny is not here -- Carly:
Oh! Alexis:
Declaring his undying love? Jax:
Ok, you know what? Maybe you really shouldn't be part of this wedding,
if that's the way you feel. Carly:
Yeah. Bye. Leave. Alexis: Ok, I'll be good. I will.
[Jax
sighs] Jax:
I want you to support me, and believe me when I tell you that I
am in love with Carly, and I want to spend the rest of my life with
her. Carly: And I feel the same. Rev. Wilson: And this would be the part where I say, "do you take
this man to be your lawfully wedded husband, to love, honor, and
cherish, in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health, for
richer, for poorer, and forsaking all others for as long as you
both shall live?" If you agree, your response will be "I
do." Jax: I do.
