Alexis: I remember the good old days when people knocked and I could actually get up to answer it.

Sonny: Hey, I wanted to save you the trouble of answering the door yourself. You don't have to thank me. How you feeling?

Alexis: Now, why would you ask that?

Sonny: Chemo's hitting you pretty hard.

Alexis: Oh, is that what it is?

Sonny: You know, I'd hate for Kristina to see you like this. Maybe it would be best if she stayed with me for a couple of days.

Alexis: No, no, no, no. Please don't do this to me. I just lost Molly. I'm not giving up Kristina, too.

Sonny: First of all, Alexis, I have no intention of taking Kristina away from you.

Alexis: Sorry, I'm sorry. I didn't mean it.

Sonny: I -- look, I just thought it'd be easier, actually for both of you, if she stayed with me for a little while.

Alexis: Kristina doesn't understand at all why the judge made Molly go live with Ric. I'm afraid she's going to feel abandoned.

Sonny: It'd only be for, you know, a little while till you get stronger.

Alexis: I'm worried that she's going to think she can't come back. I can't do it. I'm sorry. You're going to have to find another reason to make Carly move back in.

Sonny: Carly and I will be able to work out our differences without having to drag, you know, the children into this.

Alexis: So what was last October when Kristina and Molly -- you wanted them to stay with you?

Sonny: I was just trying to help you out.

Alexis: Yeah, you were just trying to keep Carly under your roof.

Sonny: All right, I admit -- I like Carly in my house. We're a family, we belong with each other, and as soon as Carly admits that, she'll -- she'll come home.

Alexis: I don't know who to feel sorrier for -- you or Jax. Because you and Carly are inevitable -- you are like a force of nature, like a -- a typhoon. Gravity -- suck each other in, then, you know, suck all the people around you in, and then the two of you implode and it blows up everybody else, except the two of you are always left intact and then you just start all over again. Whew.

Sonny: That's a nice way to look at it.

[Alexis chuckles]

Alexis: In the moment, this moment, Carly is determined to be with Jax, and I don't understand why, but Jax really does love her, and I think that she loves him in -- in her own way and maybe you could try to be noble and let her go? Try putting aside what you want for the sake of love?

Alexis: Success.

Sonny: Peppermint tea is good for the nausea.

Alexis: It also won't get me arrested.

Sonny: Is there anything else I can -- I can get for you?

Alexis: Tell me the truth.

Sonny: Yeah?

Alexis: Yeah, because it's very bad karma to lie to a cancer patient.

Sonny: You don't have cancer. The cancer was removed. That's why you're going through chemotherapy -- so it will not come back.

Alexis: That was good.

Sonny: Thank you.

Alexis: That was good deflection. I really wish that you had gone to school, law school. You would've been a really good attorney, really good.

Sonny: Mm-hmm.

Alexis: And the organized crime in Port Charles would've been cut down drastically.

Sonny: I'm a coffee importer, remember?

Alexis: You are so funny.

Sonny: Yeah.

Alexis: All right, let's be serious.

Sonny: Mm-hmm?

Alexis: So if Carly and Jax get back together, are you going to be able to put your feelings aside and be happy f them?

Sonny: I don't really think I'll ever be able to put Carly aside.

Alexis: I sure wish I had realized that before I got involved with you. I sure hope Jax has the sense to realize that now.

Sonny: So you're sure there's nothing else you need before I leave?

Alexis: Not unless you're is that what it's called? Packing -- no, wait, no, that's a -- a firearm. Holding -- that's like -- no, that's poker.

Sonny: I'm going to have Spinelli deliver something tomorrow for you.

Alexis: No.

Sonny: "No"? What do you mean, no?

Alexis: No! No, no. I was just trying to be funny. I was making a joke about the -- never mind, it wasn't funny. None of it's funny, not under the circumstances.

Sonny: Look, Ric has custody of Molly. There's no way in hell he's going to bust you just for nothing.

Alexis: Sure he will.

Sonny: Even Ric Lansing has limits. But, look, I will get you something for the chemo. If you need it, just tell me.

Alexis: No, I'll drink some mint tea, ok? It's much better.

Sonny: Ok, just remember, keep telling yourself you're going to get through this, and you will. You spilled a little bit there.

Alexis: I remember you, friend. Gangster with a heart of gold you are, and a positive attitude. Who knew?

Sonny: Most of the time I get what I want.

Alexis: Not so fast there. You haven't got Carly back yet.
