Alexis:
With all due respect, Your Honor, I intend to appeal.
Judge:
That's certainly your right, but you may want to save your strength.
Given the felony drug charges, no higher court will overturn my
decision to give Mr. Lansing full custody of his daughter.
Alexis:
We both know what it's like to grow up without for the life of me,
I can't fathom why you would want to put Molly through that.
Ric:
Your honor, for the record, I have no intention of discouraging
contact between Alexis and Molly. I want my daughter to see her
mother as often as possible.
Judge:
Given the fact that Ms. Davis tried to cut you completely out of
Molly's life, I commend your attitude. Ms. Davis, this court frowns
on parents who try to use their children as weapons in their marital
disagreements. Infidelity is not against the law. Possession and
use of a controlled substance is. My decision stands, this court
is adjourned.
Nikolas:
He won? I'm sorry.

Alexis:
Full custody.
[Nikolas
sighs]
Nikolas:
I wish you would've let me testify, Alexis.
Alexis:
It wouldn't have done any -- any good at all. The judge had her
mind made up before I even walked into the courtroom. Full custody.
Nikolas:
Look, the jet's ready, waiting. Ok? You and the girls can be in
Switzerland in time for lunch tomorr. I'll have the medical team
ready to go, make arrangements for Sonny to see Kristina, but you
have to leave right now.
Alexis:
The fact that I smoked pot because I'm sick shouldn't cost me my
children.
Nikolas:
Alexis, you can't afford to fight for some sort of legal principle.
You can't do that.
Alexis:
Why do I have to lose?
Nikolas:
You need rest. Ok? The legal system failed you this time. But don't
waste any more energy trying to fix it. Take your children and go.
Nikolas:
You can stay at the Geneva apartment while you look for schools,
decide where you want to live.
Alexis:
I appreciate the sentiment, but I'm not moving to Switzerland. I'm
staying right here, I'm not uprooting my girls, and I'm not going
to sink low enough to steal them away from their fathers.
Nikolas:
But he stole Molly from you.
Alexis:
Temporary setback -- he's not going to get away with this.
Nikolas:
You don't need this fight, Alexis.
Alexis:
How am I going to give up my little girl?
Alexis:
I need to talk to both of you.
Kristina:
Are you going to the hospital again?
Alexis:
No way. Do you know how Sonny is your daddy, and -- and Ric is Molly's
daddy? Well, when Ric and mommy decided not to live together anymore,
Molly's been living here with us, right? So Ric wants a turn, too.

Kristina:
Why?
Alexis:
Well, because he misses her. And we talked to a judge about it,
and the judge agreed that Molly should live with Ric for a little
bit.
Kristina:
Can the judge make me go, too?
Alexis:
No. No. And you know what? We're going to -- we're going to visit
every day, ok?
Kristina:
But you said we would always be a family.

Alexis:
I have enough things for her for today and tomorrow morning.
Ric:
Thank you.
Alexis:
Kristina's afraid that you're going to take her, too.
Ric:
Well, I'm sorry that Kristina is confused by all of this.
Alexis:
Our daughter deserves better than this.
Ric:
Well, the judge made the decision, Alexis. I'm sorry. You had a
chance to compromise.
Alexis:
You had no intention of having this work out any other way than
it did, so don't try to justify it, because you can't.
Ric:
Alexis, I -- I don't want to keep fighting with you about this.
Alexis:
I had to give up one child. Now you're going to make me give up
another one?
Ric:
You can visit Molly anytime you want to.
Alexis:
What are you going to do in the middle of the night when she cries
for me? Because she does, you know, every night. She's also used
to sleeping with her sister. What are you going to do about that?
I take her for a walk every morning. You might want to do the same
thing. She likes it. And she also likes bears. Do you have a nanny?
Ric:
Yes, I do have a nanny. I hired one. She's very experienced, but
I intend on taking care of our child myself. Alexis, I know you
love Molly. I love her, too. So please, for her sake, can we just
try to make this ok for her?
Ric:
Hey, I know -- I know this is very hard for you, but you and your
mother can come visit Molly anytime you want. Can you help me, you
know, to teach her to feed the ducks, you know, when we go to the
park?
Alexis:
You can help Ric just like you help mommy, ok?
Ric:
Yeah, I'd appreciate that. I would. Because you know what? You --
you really are a good big sister.
Alexis:
Hey --
Ric:
Ok?
Alexis:
You know what? You're always going to be Molly's sister, and I'm
always her mother. Nothing's going to change. We're going to see
her tomorrow, ok?
Kristina:
Ok.
Alexis:
You want to kiss her goodbye and say "I'll see you tomorrow"?
Kristina:
I love you, Molly.
Alexis:
She loves you, too. You know that, don't you?
Ric:
You know, we really should go.
[Molly
fusses]
Alexis:
Ok. I'll see you tomorrow, ok? All right, you be a good girl.
Ric:
Come here, baby. Come to your daddy. Hi, Molly. Ok. All right. Come
on, sweetheart.
Alexis:
Bye, sweetie. Mommy loves you.
Ric:
Bye. Say "bye-bye." See you tomorrow.
Alexis:
Bye, honey.
Ric:
Bye.
Alexis:
Bye-bye. Bye-bye.
Ric:
Bye-bye.
Alexis:
It's ok. All right. It's ok, baby. Come here. It's ok.
