"I am so Grateful that I Don't have to Wonder that Anymore"

Alexis: Sam -- Sam, what are you doing?

Sam: I have to find Jason.

Alexis: Sam, don't do this. It's too dangerous for you to be out of bed.

Sam: Please let go of me. I have to go.

Alexis: You just had major surgery.

Sam: I have to find Jason.

Alexis: Please, Sam.

Sam: I cannot let him give up on us. Please. Please.

Alexis: He's doing what he believes is best for you, Sam.

Sam: I know. But we were supposed to be getting married, and now, suddenly -- suddenly it's over. How could he think that that is what's best for me?

Alexis: Because his life is too dangerous.

Sam: But it always was, and I've accepted that. So why is he doing this to me now? I think -- I think I just need to see him. I need to see him. I know I can make him understand. I --

Alexis: He loves you, Sam. He does love you, and the best thing that you can do for him right now is to get some rest and get yourself well. Come on. Come here. It's ok. It's ok, all right?

Sam: How long was I out for?

Alexis: You were out for days, before and after the surgery. It's real difficult to sit and watch you like this, but you are given another chance, and I, for one, am very grateful for that.

Sam: I'm glad you're here.

Alexis: Me, too. When you were born, I had so many things that I wanted for you. And I would often wonder what your life was like and how it turned out. And I am so grateful that I don't have to wonder that anymore.

Alexis: I'd like to be able to tell Kristina, if that's ok with you.

Sam: Do you think she'd really understand any of this?

Alexis: Probably not. She happens to like you a lot, anyway. Do you remember what she said when she wanted you to join our tea party?

Sam: She wanted us to pretend we were sisters.

Alexis: It's funny how things work out, huh?

Sam: Yeah. You know, this -- this sounds wonderful. It really does, and I'm really grateful that you are offering this. None of this really means anything without Jason here. I just --

Alexis: Ok.

Sam: I cat imagine him not in my life right now.

Alexis: We need a doctor here. She's had brain surgery and she's bleeding. It's ok. It's all right. Put your head back. Head back, head back. You're ok.

Alexis: How is she?

Patrick: She's stabilizing. There doesn't seem to be any complications from the surgery.

Alexis: So what happened?

Patrick: Well, she was agitated. I gave her a sedative, she should be fine, but she might not be so lucky next time. Whatever it is that got your daughter upset, make sure it doesn't happen again.

Alexis: Sam, you need to listen to me now. You heard the doctor. You need to stop getting upset and pull yourself together and calm down.

Sam: Call Jason, please, and just tell him --

Alexis: Jason is doing what he believes is right, Sam.

Sam: He loves me.

Alexis: I know he loves you, and I will call him. But you need to calm down and you need to not be upset. And you need to close your eyes and get well, Sam.
