"You're Maneuvering Jason Against Sonny"

Alexis: Oh, what a surprise -- the father of my children. All right, let me guess -- you're here to file a suit on behalf of your client against the PCPD and/or the D.A.'s office for unlawful harassment, as your client had nothing to do with the gangland-style execution last night.

Ric: No, no, no, no, no, we're both here as private citizens, and Mr. Corinthos would like to offer his voluntary testimony for your case.

Alexis: Oh. Oh, ok. So you're volunteering that you had nothing to do with the crime. In fact, you were out having din-din with your friends that can serve as witnesses.

Ric: Mr. Corinthos was an eyewitness to the murder of Miguel Escobar.

Alexis: Does your client have any idea who actually shot Miguel Escobar?

Ric: It's all right.

Sonny: Jason Morgan.

Sam: You guys drag Jason from our home, drag him down here, and you won't even tell me why?

Det. Rodriguez: It's routine questioning.

Sam: Which means that you brought him in for a crime he didn't commit and you're harassing him -- as usual.

Det. Rodriguez: We had reason to bring him in. That's all I can tell you.

Sam: I want to see Jason.

Det. Rodriguez: Not now. Why don't you just go home and come back in a few hours?

Sam: Look, why don't you let me see Jason before I call his lawyer and have him file a harassment suit against you personally. Hmm?

Alexis: You know what? Why don't you let me handle this?

Det. Rodriguez: She's all yours.

Alexis: Thank you. Sam -- you can't talk to Jason right now because he's being booked and held for interrogation.

Sam: Booked for what?

Alexis: The police have reason to believe that he's responsible for killing Miguel Escobar.

Sam: Really? And what reason would that be? Because Durant dragged me down here last night and questioned me about Escobar’s death. He didn't know anything about Jason shooting him then, he doesn't know any now for one simple reason -- he didn't do it.

Alexis: There's an eyewitness who saw Jason kill Escobar.

Sam: Well, who would do any--?

Alexis: That was a good one. I almost believed for a second that Sonny was actually going to testify against Jason.

Ric: He will.

Alexis: You're an intelligent man. You must be aware of the fact that Sonny is using at least one of us as a pawn in his little war between him and Jason.

Ric: I see. And since you're far too perceptive a human being to let that happen to you, you must be talking about me.

Alexis: This is a stalling tactic. I know that. His testimony's going to magically evaporate before Jason goes to trial. He's diverting Jason on purpose so he can take back his territory.

Ric: Well, that is how Sonny sees it playing out.

Alexis: That is how it will play out.

Ric: Not if you're as good as you say you are.

Alexis: You're the one who's letting him play you like a little fiddle.

Ric: Alexis, I just gave you a great opening. Why don't you just jump on it, ok? Build an airtight case against Jason. By the time we get to court, I guarantee Sonny will testify.

Alexis: You're maneuvering Jason against Sonny.

Ric: Jason's done that to himself.

Alexis: Do you have any idea how ugly this could get?

Ric: You know, I have all the confidence in the world in your expertise, A.D.A. Davis. So, build your case, take it to court, and get Jason locked up for the rest of his life. We'll all be better off. Chinese tonight.

Alexis: Good.
