"I Think it's Time to Find Out What Happened to My Daughter"

Sam: Ok, thanks for rushing this. I'll wait for your call.

Jason: Rushing what?

Sam: The D.N.A. test results. They should be in by the end of the day.

Jason: You're really worried about this.

Sam: I just -- you know, I want it out of the way. I know that Danny was my biological brother, and I want to prove it.

Jason: I just -- I hope you're right.

Sam: My mother had no use for me, but she was still my mom. I can't believe some stranger gave me away as a baby.

Ric: Alexis, I'd like to get to the memorial early if we could, just in case Sonny's -- what's that?

Alexis: A lock of hair isn't the only reminder of the baby that I gave away. I found this.

Ric: A letter?

Alexis: A letter from my father -- who I thought was my uncle at the time. Cassadine family politics is nothing if not arcane or convoluted.

Ric: So Mikkos wrote you a letter about the daughter that you gave up?

Alexis: A very brief letter saying that everything had been handled. Kind of like arranging for a car or a trip. The baby had been "handled."

Ric: Mm-hmm. I thought you were wanting to let this go.

At Courtney's Memorial Service

Ric: You know, what you said before about not running out of time? I'm not going to let that happen with us.

Sonny: Courtney was a forgiving person. Maybe I should learn from her example.

Ric: Yeah, we all should. Alexis. Mike.

Ric: Thanks for coming with me to the memorial.

Alexis: At least Sonny and Carly both did a -- a very good job; they were very effective. If you'll still help me, I think it's time to find out what happened to my daughter.

[Phone rings]

Sam: Hello?

Robin: Sam, it's Robin. The D.N.A. test came back on Danny.

Sam: And?

Robin: He wasn't your biological brother.

Sam: Are you sure?

Robin: The results are conclusive. One or both of you must've been adopted.

Sam: Ok. Um -- thanks for getting back to me tonight. Ok. So who was my mom?
