21, 2006 Transcript Sam: How's Alexis? Alexis: Hmm, not so good, but thanks for asking. Sam: Danny is in really bad shape, too. And the doctor said that there's only one dose of the antidote left, and they are deciding between you and my brother, Danny. Sam: Alexis, Robin Scorpio refused to take her dose. She said that there were other people out there who needed it more than she did. Please, if you refuse, they will give it to Danny. I know they will; they will give it to my brother. Ric: Oh, for God's sake, Sam. Sam: I am asking Alexis to save my brother's life! He has no one to fight for him, Ric! Ric: It's not up to -- it's not up to Alexis, all right? It's the doctor's decision. Sam: Can you at least think about it, please? Ric: Will you just leave Alexis alone? She wouldn't ask you to refuse the antidote for Danny so that she could live, so don't ask her to do the same thing. It's not fair! Sam: I don't care about what's fair! My brother is going to die! Ric: Sam, you need to calm down. Sam, please -- Jason -- Sam: Alexis is a mother and a wife and I understand that! Ric: She's trying to guilt Alexis into refusing the antidote. Sam: He has nobody but me! Ric: Will you stop her, please? Sam: You can save him! Ric: Look at her. Sam: You're stronger than him! You owe me, Alexis! You owe me! Ric: Will you get her out of here? Jason: Hey! Stop -- Sam: Stem cells! My baby saved you -- my baby saved your baby! Jason: Come on -- Sam: Alexis, please! I'm begging you! Jason, please. Alexis -- Alexis, you owe me. You owe me! No! Ric: Shh. It's ok, it's ok. It's all right. It's ok. Patrick: Good news, Alexis. You get the antidote. Ric: Thank God. Alexis: What about Sam’s brother? Ric: Alexis, Dr. Drake made a decision here, ok? It's not up to us to second-guess him. Alexis: I have two little girls. I was raised without a mother and I can't -- I can't do that to them. Ric: Alexis -- Alexis: I'm sure there's other people that deserve this -- Ric: No, no, no, no. Alexis: Like Ric. Ric: No. I'm not as sick as you are. Alexis: I can't leave my children. Ric: You're not going to, all right? Alexis, look at me. This is the right decision. Patrick: Get some rest. Don't be so hard on yourself. Ric: Thanks, doctor. It's ok. Shh. Close your eyes. Close your eyes. Sam: If they would've picked Danny, they would've been here by now. Alexis could've refused to take the antidote -- Robin did -- but how -- why -- why would I expect Alexis to be so unselfish? Jason: Hey, hey, just -- you got to try to calm down for Danny’s sake. Sam: Jason, he is so sweet. He is so sweet and helpless. And I can't stand to see him suffer. I was supposed to take care of him; I was supposed to protect him. [Danny groans] Sam: Hi. Hey, I'm here. Danny: I'm not scared if you're here. You're my little sister. Sam: Well, that's why you have to get better. Because I need you. Danny: Mom and dad told me when they brought you home; they said they picked you special to be my little sister. They chose you just for me.
