"There's Nothing that Woman is Going to Say to Make Me Doubt You"

Faith: What is your problem, Ric? You got your precious stepdaughter back. Really, what do you care if I killed Michael and dumped him in a swamp?

Ric: I have a more pertinent question for you, Faith. Why are you bragging about a death penalty offense?

Faith: Just quirky that way.

Ric: No, I don't think so. You think you're going to get away with this? Come on, Faith, what's going on? Hmm? Is there another accomplice out there, somebody you anticipate is going to just run to your rescue?

[Phone rings]

Ric: Don't mind me. Answer it.

Faith: Hello?

It's John Durant but he doesn't say anything -- he hangs up.

Ric: Mm-hmm. See, whatever escape route you -- you think you've planned out, you're never going to see it. You're not walking away from this one, Faith, all right? If you did tell the truth and Michael is dead, I'll see to it that you join him.

Ric: You need to get this through your head, Faith -- there's no way out for you, all right? There's no place you can run, there's no deal that you're going to be able to make. You have admitted to killing a child that you kidnapped -- that is murder with special circumstances. That's a death sentence, and I’m going to make sure that you get it.

Faith: Won't you feel the slightest bit hypocritical, Ric, prosecuting me? Because you are, in fact, a kidnapper yourself, Mr. Holier-than-thou. Think about it -- you abducted Carly when she was pregnant, kept her chained to a wall for weeks, all the while planning to kill her and steal her unborn child. You, my friend, are in absolutely no position to judge me.

Ric: You're right. I was wrong. But I corrected my behavior. I let Carly go and I rebuilt my life.

Faith: Oh. Gee. Ok, then. And what a life you did manage to build -- district attorney, married to the equally smug Alexis Davis and, oh, stepfather to your brother's child. Must be sweet.

Ric: It is.

Faith: Well, enjoy it while you can because unless you cut me a deal allowing me to plead insanity, I am going to systematically trash your marriage, your career, and everything you hold dear, and it will be my distinct pleasure to watch you stand in the ruins.

Ric: You're not going to cut any deals, Faith. Do you understand me? You're not going to get up in front of some judge and plead insanity so that he can send you off to some treatment facility where you can convince the doctors that you're sane and that you're cured and they send you off, or better yet, so that you can plan yet another escape. You deserve to die for what you did. I am going to see that justice is served.

Faith: Aren't you something to see? Eyes all afire with righteous indignation. The law and God on your side. Very moving, Ric. I'll give you that. And up until now, it has played out beautifully on the evening news. Oh, God, look at you. D.A., in spite of some rather dubious connections to not one, but two local mob figures. Well, guess what, sweetheart -- everything is about to change.

Ric: Is that right?

Faith: Yes. You see, I’m going to get on the stand, and I am going to testify to every single lurid detail of our relationship.

Ric: That was no relationship, Faith!

Faith: Exactly. I am going to stand there and tell the world how you used me and threw me away like garbage. I will cry rivers when I tell them how devastated I was, how blindsided, how I begged you to give me another chance. And you made me feel like dirt, you son of a bitch. When I tell them how my complete and utter humiliation and hurt turned into rage. And that you were the target of my vendetta, not Sonny. Not Alexis. You. Because of your insensitive, callous behavior, those poor, sweet, innocent children were kidnapped. And after I am through trashing your career, I will start in on your marriage.

Alexis: You're forgetting something, Faith. It's my marriage, too. There's no way in hell I’m ever going to give you the power to destroy that.

Faith: You can thank your husband here for the inspiration. After watching the way Sonny came unglued when Ric took Carly, I knew the surest way to destroy him was through his children. And see, I could have limited my efforts to Michael and Morgan, but I wanted Ric to suffer. So I took your daughter.

Alexis: You really shouldn't waste what we're all hoping will be your last breath. There's nothing that you're going to say that's going to make me turn against my husband. In fact, I’m willing to give him a big, fat kiss when he gets you convicted and sentenced to lethal injection. Have you had about enough?

Ric: More than. Thanks for the vote of confidence.

Alexis: There's nothing that woman is going to say to make me doubt you. We've been through too much together.

Faith: Our deal was that you would get me out of here. So do it now. Or I will tell the police and the grieving family what really happened to Michael, and why.

Lorenzo: Ric? You need me to testify against Faith, I’m here.

Ric: No, no, not today. This is pro forma. Faith enters a plea, she's bound over for trial, and we all go home.

John: I assume that Faith is pleading guilty.

Ric: I have no idea what Faith is going to do. Ultimately, we have sufficient evidence to convict her on three counts of kidnapping and one of murder.

Jason: Who paid you to kidnap Sonny's children?

Faith: Back off!

Reese: Jason, not here.

Jason: No, I found the money trail. Two deposits in the Cayman Islands -- 2 million the day Kristina was grabbed, 4 million when Michael and Morgan were grabbed. Who's paying you? Who has Michael?

Faith: Are you going to let him stand there and bully me?

Ric: Ok, Jason, don't push a bad situation. Officer Murphy, I want you to escort Mr. Morgan out of the courthouse, please.

Jason: You're going to tell me what I need to know, one way or the other.

Ric: Get him out of here. Get him out of here.

Reese: Let's go.

Alexis: I feel so badly for all of them -- for Jason, for Sonny and Carly. And if they're in denial, I don't blame them because I don't know how anyone ever gets over the loss of a child.

Judge: Three counts of kidnapping and one count of murder in the death of Michael Corinthos III. How do you plead, Ms. Rosco?

Faith: Not guilty, your honor.

Alan: You monster! You killed my grandson!

Faith: I didn't. All right, look, none of this was my idea. I was paid to take those kids, all right? I was working for somebody else. I only did --

[Gunshot]

[Screams]

Sonny: Damn it!
