"It's
Almost Over"
Carly:
We should've heard something by now. I mean, come on, this guy's
got no reason to be loyal to Faith. How long does it take to decide
whether you want to save your own life or share where some children
are? Something's gone wrong.
Sam:
We're going to hear from them soon, Carly.
[Knock
on door]
Lorenzo:
Hi.
Carly:
Lorenzo.
Lorenzo:
I flew down to see if I could help.
Carly:
Thank you. Uh, come on in.
Lorenzo:
Thanks. Tell me what's going on.
Carly:
Michael called Sonny. He was about to tell them -- tell them where
he and Morgan and Kristina were, and --
Lorenzo:
It's all right. What?
Carly:
Faith grabbed the phone from him. There were gunshots, and then
the line just went dead.
Jason:
Come on! Come on!
Sonny:
This is for my children.
Reese:
Don't kill her! The children aren't here.
Sonny:
Where are my children? Don't die on me!
[Faith
gasps]
Sonny:
Save her, Jason. If she dies, we'll never find the kids. I'm going
to look around because I know the kids are here someplace.
Reese:
Let's find them.
Sonny:
Keep that bitch alive!
Reese:
We got two men dead, one badly wounded. We need an ambulance.
Elizabeth:
Hey.
Ric:
Hey.
Elizabeth:
How's Alexis doing?
Ric:
Uh, stubborn, you know, argumentative -- normal. She's lying down
in bed, so I'm resting a little bit easier.
Elizabeth:
Oh, good. You must be really excited about this baby.
Ric:
Yeah, well, you know, Alexis getting pregnant was the last thing
that we expected, but now that it's happened, I can't wait to hold
my son or daughter.
Elizabeth:
I'm really happy for you, Ric.
Ric:
That's very generous of you. You know, Elizabeth, I know that you've
moved on with your life and you have Cameron, and you -- you really
are a wonderful mother.
Elizabeth:
Well, thank you. You know, I still think about our baby.
Ric:
Well, then you deserve to know the truth about what really happened,
about how and why our child was taken from us.
Carly:
I know in my heart that Michael's alive.
Lorenzo:
Just got to keep believing, keep trusting. That's the most you can
do.
Officer:
I'm looking for Agent Marshall.
Sam:
She's not here.
Officer:
Well, do you know when she'll be back?
Dispatcher:
All personnel -- shots fired at St. Bartholomew's Church. Two fatalities.
Proceed with extreme caution.
Reese:
We searched everywhere. There's no sign of the children.
Sonny:
She alive?
Jason:
Barely.
Sonny:
Got to keep her alive, Jason!
Jason:
I'm trying!
Sonny:
She's got to tell us where the kids -- where's the ambulance?
Reese:
I've called them twice, Sonny. They're on their way.
Sonny:
The kids are gone, and Faith, or her men, have been digging a hole.
[Siren]
Reese:
Don't jump to conclusions, Sonny. That shovel proves nothing.
Sonny:
There's mud on her shoes!
Jason:
Come on, she's still alive.
Paramedic:
How many times was she shot?
Jason:
Once.
Reese:
Don't give up, Sonny. We won't know what's happened until we can
question Faith.
Sonny:
We don't even know if she's going to live, Reese. Get your team
in here, every expert you got. We have to figure out what she did
with my children!
Ric:
Faith told me that she pushed you down the steps of Ryce Plaza.
You were pregnant with my child and she wanted to end it, and if
she killed you in the process, all the better.
Elizabeth:
I can't believe it was Faith all along.
Ric:
Elizabeth, I'm -- I'm so sorry.
Elizabeth:
No, don't. It wasn't your fault. That woman was just fixated on
you. She's crazy. She has to be stopped.
Ric:
She will be, if I have anything to say about it -- for our child,
for Michael, for Morgan, for Kristina. I'm not going to rest until
Faith is in prison or dead.
Ric:
Whoa, whoa, whoa. She's resting, ok? She doesn't need any visitors.
John:
Faith has been caught.
Ric:
Was Kristina with her?
John:
No, there's no word on any of the children.
Ric:
So what did they do? Did they offer Faith a deal?
John:
Faith was shot. She hasn't regained consciousness. It's possible
she never will.
Ric:
Is there any -- are there any other people that they can question
about where the children are?
John:
No, Ric, the henchmen are dead. If Faith dies, we may never see
those kids again.
Ric:
There's got to be some other way.
John:
Look, I just wanted you to know to tell Alexis. She's got to prepare
herself.
Ric:
All right, why don't you let me handle that.
John:
All right.
Ric:
How you feeling?
Alexis:
I just had a dream again. Kristina was in it. We were having a picnic,
all three of us. We're going to find her. I just know it.
Lorenzo:
I spoke to the local police. They couldn't confirm who'd been shot.
Carly:
It's Faith. Sonny. Sonny, what happened? Where are the kids?
Sam:
Jason. I'm glad you're -- they said that two people were shot.
Jason:
Yeah, two of Faith's guys. I wasn't hit.
Carly:
Jason, where are the kids? Where are they? If they're not with Faith,
then she sent them somewhere.
Reese:
The children weren't at the church, but that doesn't mean we won't
find them.
Carly:
Do you have any leads? I mean, maybe she took them somewhere. Maybe
she relocated them to --
Sonny:
Faith passed out before she could tell us anything.
Carly:
And what? What aren't you telling me, Sonny?
Sonny:
Faith -- she had mud stains on her pants and her shoes. We found
a shovel.
Carly:
Oh, my god.
Sonny:
Ok, the mud was -- was fresh. That's all we know.
Ric:
All right. Well, thank you, Lieutenant. You just let me know if
there's any change. All right. Faith's still in surgery. There's
no word on any of the children.
Alexis:
Oh, just gets worse by the hour. What if she doesn't wake up?
Ric:
She will. When she does, I'm going to be there.
Alexis:
Are you going to Louisiana?
Ric:
Yes, I am. Now, there's a chance that Faith might talk to me, if
only to gloat, but I got to at least try.
Alexis:
I'm going with you.
Carly:
Ok, so Faith was digging something. It doesn't mean it's got anything
to do with our kids. Sonny, she just got away with $5 million. She
was probably burying it. Or maybe -- maybe her car got stuck and
she was -- she was trying to dig it out. Come on, Sonny. There are
about a hundred million reasons why there could be mud on a shovel
that have nothing to do with -- the kids are fine.
Reese:
Carly?
Carly:
What?
Reese:
Local law enforcement is on the scene. I've called in an F.B.I.
Forensics team. Now, Faith's assistant, that guy Peavy -- he said
the kids were at the church, so we're going to use that as our starting
point and we're going to try and --
Carly:
Don't you say "try." Don't say "try"! Don't
you act like you're going to do everything that you can and when
it doesn't work out, it doesn't matter. There are three kids out
there and you need to find them!
Sonny:
Carly, they're doing everything they can. What do you want --
Reese:
Every available agent is on the scene. Hey, we're not going to stop
looking for those kids until we bring them home.
Carly:
Faith couldn't have gotten far. She couldn't, right? You said there
were roadblocks all over the county.
Reese:
That's right.
Carly:
There were patrol boats in the river, so the kids -- they're here.
She was trapped. They couldn't have gotten far. Look, Sonny, Michael
probably -- maybe he got away again. I'm sure he did. He did it
once before. And when Faith doesn't come back, maybe the person
who's holding them, they're just going to give up.
Sonny:
Carly, we're going to keep looking. That's all we can do. We're
going to keep looking.
Lorenzo:
Agent Marshall? You sincerely believe you're going to be able to
bring those children back alive? Neither do I.
Sam:
Maybe Carly's right, Jason. Maybe the shovel doesn't mean anything.
Jason:
Faith didn't know the kids were gone. Before the shooting started,
Sonny said Faith was trying to get in one of the backrooms of the
church.
Sam:
Ok, well, do you think she was going to check on the kids?
Jason:
Yeah, but Faith didn't know the kids had already been moved.
Sam:
All right, then someone took them out of the building, someone that
none of you ever saw. Whoa, whoa, whoa. Where are you going?
Jason:
I got to go back to the church.
Sam:
No, no, no, Jason, you need help. They're going to do forensic analysis,
fingerprints, D.N.A. Reports, all that technology. I know you're
not up on the law enforcement right now, but I think you need to
trust them, for Michael.
Carly:
Faith's going to recover. She's going to recover. And when she does,
she's going to tell us where the kids are and we're going to bring
them home safe.
Jason:
I want to go back to the church.
Reese:
There's nothing you can do there.
Jason:
You said Faith was trying to get in one of the backrooms, right,
Sonny?
Sonny:
She was. I thought the kids were in there.
Jason:
Well, maybe Faith thought that, too.
Sam:
Jason thinks someone moved the kids without Faith's knowledge.
Reese:
I'll call forensics and let them know we're on our way.
Carly:
Jason, I think you're right. I know you are. Someone else has the
kids.
Sonny:
You weren't even there.
Jason:
Were you wrong about the door?
Sonny:
I don't know why Faith was trying to get into that door. Maybe she
wanted to take a nap or maybe she was making a call she didn't want
her people to hear. But it's worth looking into. We got -- it's
not proof, but we got to look into it.
Reese:
Ready to go?
Jason:
I'll call you if I find anything.
Alexis:
I'm Kristina's mother. She needs me. I know her better than anyone
and I want to be there when they find her.
Ric:
I agree.
Alexis:
She's been with strangers the whole time -- and you can't do this.
You agree?
Ric:
Mm-hmm. As long as you agree to be examined by Dr. Meadows before
you go.
Alexis:
I was expecting a fight on this.
Ric:
We have two children -- Kristina and the baby that you're carrying.
We can't choose one over the other. We have to care about both of
them at the same time.
Alexis:
I promise I'll be careful.
Ric:
You do or I'll break your head.
Alexis:
Thank you for understanding and trusting me.
Dr. Meadows: I understand that you're worried about your daughter and
my heart goes out to both of you. But at the same time you need
to have some caution about your pregnancy.
Alexis:
The woman who kidnapped my daughter has been caught. She hasn't
told anyone where they're holding her but I know that she will and
I want to be there when she's rescued.
Dr. Meadows: Well, granted, your condition has improved and the chance
of miscarriage is nowhere near where it was. I'm going to write
up a set of guidelines for you to follow while you're away.
Alexis:
Thank you, Dr. Meadows.
Dr. Meadows: You're welcome. Good luck.
Ric:
Thank you.
Alexis:
It's almost over. We are going
to go get Kristina and bring her home.
