"Signs Come in All Different Ways"

Madam: Ok, ok. You don't have to bang the doorbell.

Michael: Please, you got to help me! We've been kidnapped! The bad guys are right behind me!

Madam: Take it easy, kid. We'll let the police sort this out.

Man: That won't be necessary.

Michael: Get away from me!

Man: Come on, Michael. I can't just let you run away.

Reese: Carly, I know we're not on good terms here, but the lives of your children are at stake.

Carly: Oh, believe me, I am aware of that.

Reese: Sonny has been undermining this investigation. Instead of helping, he is making things worse. I know you've witnessed his nervous breakdowns before. Is he having one now? Because if he is, Sonny needs to be put away for the sake of his children. Michael and Morgan are your children, too, Carly. Is protecting your ex-husband more important to you than bringing your boys home safe?

Carly: You're right. Sonny could snap.

Faith: Ugh!

Sonny: Where are my children?

Faith: No place you will ever find them!

Sonny: I'm not going to ask you again! Where are my children?

Faith: If you kill me, they will all die lonely and alone!

Sonny: I will take my chances!

Alexis: No!

[Faith grunts]

Alexis: Sonny, if you kill her, we'll never get Kristina back!

Sonny: Get out of my way!

Ric: Uh -- Alexis! Are you ok? Sonny, what happened?

Jason: Just keep --

Candy: It's me! It's Candy!

Jason: Just keep quiet and you won't get hurt.

Sam: You followed us here?

Candy: I wanted to help you get those kids back.

Sam: Well, you were right. They were here, and now they're gone.

Jason: Do you have any idea where they could have been taken?

Sam: Anything you can think of would help.

Candy: I don't know anything else. I'm sorry.

Carly: Sonny blames himself for the kidnapping. He's reacting.

Reese: And he's going to put them in even more danger. For the sake of your kids, Sonny needs to be committed until this thing's over.

Carly: What? No.

Reese: I realize that you still care about your ex-husband, but I have a job to do and Sonny keeps getting in the way.

Carly: Yeah, well, I'm not helping you lock him up.

Reese: Sonny can't be objective here.

Carly: Ok. I will get through to him. I will calm him down.

Reese: You keep him on a short leash. Watch Sonny, and let me know if he plans anything reckless.

Carly: No, I'm not spying on him for you.

Reese: Not even for your own sons? Carly, this isn't personal here, ok? Helping me with Sonny may be the only way to get your kids back safe.

Carly: Fine. Fine, I will watch him.

Reese: Thank you.

Lorenzo: Agent Marshall?

Reese: Yeah, what is it?

Lorenzo: You wanted me to put together any information Ii have on Faith Rosco.

Carly: You're working with Reese?

Reese: Who is this man?

Lorenzo: A possible lead.

Michael: He's lying. He's not my dad.

Man: My son has a vivid imagination.

Madam: The boy seems pretty worked up.

Man: He gets that way. You really want these nice ladies to call the police?

Michael: Yes. Do it.

Man: Ok. So we'll go into town and waste a whole lot of time doing nothing, and meanwhile your brother and your little sister are at home alone. Something could happen to them.

Madam: Where's the boy's mama?

Man: She ran out on us, and my son blames me. You got to think about the little ones, Michael. You have a responsibility to this family.

Michael: Fine. I'll go back -- for them.

Man: Good. You have anything to say to these nice ladies?

Michael: Sorry to bother you guys.

Madam: Ain't no trouble, sweets. Now, you be a good boy for your daddy.

Man: Thanks. You ladies have a good evening.

Michael: You're going to be in so much trouble.

Man: Shut up. You're a long way from daddy and his private army, so change your attitude, kid.

Alexis: I'm fine.

Ric: Listen, hey --

Alexis: We need to get to Sonny.

Ric: No. Are you sure you aren't hurt?

Alexis: If he kills Faith we're never going to get Kristina back!

Ric: Alexis please! Alexis wait!

Ric: You can't keep risking your life and the life of our child! It's not going to do anything to help Kristina!

Reese: Sonny!

Sonny: Faith's gone! She's headed upstairs!

Reese: All units, I need backup at every stairwell exit, fourth floor and higher. Faith Rosco's been spotted.

Sam: Hey, we got your message. Did you remember anything else about the kids?

Candy: I'll let Bella explain.

Bella: A little man with hair the color of a pumpkin patch showed up a while ago.

Jason: Him?

Bella: That's him. We all thought it was a prank. A man came in after him claiming to be his daddy. He said that Michael had run away, that he'd been doing it all the time since his momma left.

Jason: What did Michael say?

bella: He started to argue. Then the guy said something about Michael's brother and sister being left alone and possibly getting hurt. That's when the boy backed down and agreed to go.

Jason: Do you know where they went?

Bella: I have no idea.

Michael: I want to see my brother and sister.

Man: Yeah? Go sit with them. Keep your mouth shut.

Second man: Where was he?

First man: At the whorehouse.

Second man: Kid's got spirit. That kid is trouble.

First man: Were you able to keep this place warm?

Second man: I haven't felt a draft.

First man: Good. It's tricky keeping a room like this the right temperature. These high ceilings really mess with the thermostat. But it's good to see the new system is working.

Michael: You've been here before?

Man: That's none of your business. Go play with your sister and shut up.

Lorenzo: Where did you go?

Reese: Sonny spotted Faith but she got away.

Carly: What?

Reese: We have to focus on other leads. Tell me about this guy.

Lorenzo: His name is William Peavy. He's a hired gun with a passion for destroying old churches.

Carly: That's an odd hobby.

Reese: Yeah, but it's also specific, which is good.

Carly: How did you find him?

Lorenzo: His name was in an address book that belonged to Rollo.

Reese: Rollo - one of Faith's guys on the inside, the one who betrayed Sonny.

Lorenzo: Mm-hmm. Phone records indicate that the two men were in constant contact throughout the two weeks prior to the kidnapping.

Carly: Did you trace the number?

Lorenzo: Most of the calls were sent out of state.

Reese: Louisiana.

Lorenzo: How did you know?

Reese: Michael left a clue.

Carly: What?

Reese: We found a note at your apartment. He left a message written in crayon that he'd hid inside a secret compartment in one of his toys.

Carly: What did it say? What did it say?

Reese: Two names -- Louise and Anna. He obviously misunderstood the meaning, but it's still helpful to us.

Lorenzo: Hmm. That is one resourceful little boy.

Carly: Yeah, yeah he is.

Alexis: I know I was stupid to go after Sonny. I realize that. It's just that when I I thought he'd kill her and we wouldn't be able to find her.

Ric: No, no, just -- please, just relax, all right? I know it's next to impossible, given the circumstances, but I want you to try.

Alexis: I want our baby. I wouldn't do anything intentionally to hurt --

Ric: Alexis, I know, I know.

Alexis: We were so close and now we're back to square one, and then when I saw him point the gun at her, I just I -- all logic went out the window.

Ric: Listen to me. The truth is I would have done the same thing.

Reese:Yep. All right, thanks. I've got agents working on finding William Peavy in Louisiana as we speak.

Carly: What did you find out about the connection?

Reese: We have every indication that he's working with Faith, probably used him to secure a safe house.

Sonny: Faith's gone. She was in this hospital. Your people couldn't catch her.

Reese: Well, fortunately, we have a lead as to where she could be keeping the kids. His name is William Peavy - he's working with Faith.

Carly: Yeah, they may be in Louisiana. Michael left a note in a toy.

[Phone rings]

Sonny: Jason, where are you?

Jason: Louisiana. Sam and I tracked the kids to this old mansion. They were moved before we could find them.

Sonny: Where in Louisiana?

Jason: It's a place called Lafayette Parish. I made a connection with someone Faith might be working with, ok?

Sonny: William Peavy? Blond hair, short hair, right, about 5'11"?

Jason: Yeah, yeah, that's him.

Sonny: Right. Uh, we got the same lead. Michael left a clue saying where he was taken.

Carly: Does Jason know where the boys are?

Jason: Somebody saw Michael. He got away from the kidnapper somehow.

Sonny: Where's Michael now?

Jason: But he showed up to this house, he talked to this woman, he was telling her what happened, and Peavy showed up and made Michael change his mind --

Carly: Sonny, tell me what is going on!

Jason: The woman said that Michael looked good, that he wasn't hurt.

Sonny: All right, I'm on my way down, ok? I'll see you.

Carly: Sonny! Sonny, you're not going anywhere!

Carly: You can't go charging after Faith. She could panic. You just wait until she comes to you with her demands.

Lorenzo: She's right, Sonny.

Sonny: I don't want-I don't need to hear from you, Alcazar.

Reese: This isn't helping, ok?

Lorenzo: I know Faith.

Sonny: I do, too!

Lorenzo: Well, then you realize she's trying to make you suffer for as long as possible, to draw out the pain. This is a game for her.

Reese: Faith is calling the shots right now. But she doesn't know we have this lead.

Sonny: I'm not going to waste any more time, ok? We all know where Faith is headed. I'm gong to Loiusiana.

Reese: I'm coming with you.

Sonny: If you have to come, let's go.

Dr. Meadows: I told Alexis what she has to do to see the baby to term. She just can't seem to control herself.

Ric: Alexis is not the most passive indivdual under the best circumstances. You know the situation with Kristina.

Dr. Meadows: All the more reason that your wife should protect her health and the health of your unborn child.

Ric: Thanks, doctor.

Elizabeth: I have something for you.

Ric: I thought this was in forensics.

Elizabeth: Steven said they were done with it, and I knew that Alexis would want it, and I figured that you should be the to give it to her.

Ric: Thank you.

Sam: Did you reach Sonny?

Jason: Sonny's coming down.

Sam: Jason, I know that it's hard getting close to finding the kids and not having them back.

Jason: I just -- I just keep thinking about Michael.

Sam: Michael's a tough kid, and it's clear that he's staying strong for Morgan and Kristina.

Jason: Yeah, but I swore that I would always protect him.

Sam: Jason, I know you're attached, ok? You were Michael's only family for the first year of his life and I personally think that you are probably a little but closer to him that his own parents are, but I think that you're going to be the one to find him, ok?

Jason: He's been doing what he's been taught to do. Ok? I don't want him acting like me and Sonny.

Sam: Look, that means he won't stop until he finds a way out.

Jason: Yeah, that means if he pushes too hard, it might get him killed.

Faith: I want the money accessible tomorrow morning or I will take my business elsewhere.

William: Is the account all worked out?

Faith: Haven't you learned yet? I always get my way. Shut them the hell up or I will.

Michael: He just wants his bottle.

Faith: Fine. Then shove it in his mouth.

Ric: Alexis?

Alexis: I was dreaming a little while ago.

Ric: About Kristina?

Alexis: It wasn't a nightmare, either. It was a good dream.

Ric: Why don't you tell me.

Alexis: I was looking for in the woods and I called her name and she just appeared.

Ric: What'd she say to you?

Alexis: She touched my cheek like she always does.

Ric: And?

Alexis: She said that she was ok. She said that Michael was taking care of her.

Ric: I'm sure he is.

Alexis: She told me that she was coming home and I believed her. It sounds crazy to you, doesn't it?

Ric: No, no, it doesn't. I think signs come in all different ways. We just got to believe.

Carly: Do you believe what I said before? About waiting until Faith gives us her demands.

Lorenzo: I do.

Carly: I'm usually not very patient, especially when it comes to my kids.

Lorenzo: But in this case you're doing the right thing. Cornering Faith, forcing her hand would be a mistake.

Carly: How can you be sure?

Lorenzo: Carly, Faith works on instinct. Just like a wild animal, she has no discipline or boundaries.

Carly: You know I just keep thinking that she's going to mess up and then she's going to give us the upper hand.

Lorenzo: She will. Her plan is already starting to unravel. It won't be long before you have your sons back.

Sam: Jason, I was never one of Michael's favorite people. Remember when I first came to town, he tried to pay me off to leave? Well, I got to tell you, it was like I was dealing with a little adult, and the truth is he was pretty intimidating -- you cannot underestimate him now. And I'm sure that he was really scared when the kidnapper showed up at Carly's, but he still left that clue. Right? And he already -- he already escaped once and almost got help, and I think -- I think probably that the only reason why he let the kidnappers take him back was so he could be with Morgan and Kristina, because he knows the three of them together are safer that way. And, Jason, it's that kind of thinking that's going to keep him safe until you can get to him yourself.

Jason: I hope so.

Sam: Now you need to believe it.

Sonny: Any word on the kids?

Jason: No. We got here, they were gone.

[Phone rings]

Sonny: Whoa.

Reese: Do you recognize the number?

Sonny: Hold on. Yeah?

Michael: Dad?

Sonny: Michael? Where are you?

Sonny: Can you see anything? Can you see any signs outside? Can you describe anything?

Faith: Little boys never learn. That was your last mistake.

Sonny: Michael?

[Gunshot]
