"I Want this Baby, and I Want it With You"

Ric: Alexis, we will find Kristina.

Alexis: If anything happens to her, it's because of me.

Ric: Oh, come on now. That's Sonny talking. Please, just try to calm down.

Alexis: I need you to help me find her.

Ric: I will. Just let's take it slow. What's wrong? What's wrong? Alexis, what's wrong?

Alexis: I don't know. Something's wrong.

Ric: Easy -- wait -- Alexis --

Alexis: Ah.

Ric: Stay -- stay here. Wait, wait, wait, wait, please. Somebody get a nurse! Are you ok? Alexis?

[Alexis moans]

Ric: Alexis --

Elizabeth: Hey, what's going on? What's the matter?

Ric: Elizabeth, please, just call Dr. Meadows. Alexis may be miscarrying.

Sonny: "Meet at the gazebo at 3:00 in the park today." I'm going alone.

Reese: Wait --

Sonny: No --

Reese: Sonny, if you want your daughter back alive, you're going to need help.

Ric: I want you to take slow, deep, regular breaths, ok?

Alexis: It's not as easy as it sounds.

Ric: I understand. How's the pain? Is it better? Is it worse?

Dr. Meadows: I got your page. Tell me what's happening.

Alexis: It's cramping in my abdomen and in my back.

Dr. Meadows: Ok, I'll examine you. You'll have to wait outside.

Ric: All right, it's nothing. You're going to be fine, ok? It's just a little bump in the road, ok? Ok.

Elizabeth: Hey. How is she?

Ric: We'll know soon.

Elizabeth: So, were you guys planning on starting a family?

Ric: No. It came as a surprise to both of us.

Elizabeth: How far along is she?

Ric: Six weeks.

Elizabeth: Oh.

Ric: But I'm already invested.

Elizabeth: Yeah, yeah, I know easy it is to fall in love with an unborn child.

Alexis: Does the cramping mean that I'm going to lose the baby?

Dr. Meadows: I will answer all of your questions after I've examined you. But I do have one thing that I have to ask you first. How badly do you want this child?

Sonny: Last time I was supposed to meet the kidnapper, you followed me without my permission. You filled the park with cops. The kidnapper cut off contact. This time I'm going alone.

Reese: No, I don't think you fully understand what's going on here, Sonny. This is not a simple kidnapping case for ransom.

Sonny: My daughter is gone. Whatever the kidnapper wants, that's what she's going to get.

Reese: The kidnapper wants more than money. She wants to tear you apart piece by piece.

Sonny: Let her try! Because all that matters to me right now is getting my daughter home safely.

Reese: Well, if I thought listening to the kidnapper would help your daughter, I would tell you to follow her instructions to the letter. But it won't and I’m sure of it.

Sonny: Yeah? Yeah? You got a better idea?

Reese: Yes. Do not let the kidnapper dictate the terms. You need to be smarter and stronger than you've ever been in your life. You need to use every weapon at your disposal, including me.

John: Look, Carly, all I want is some quality time with my grandsons.

Carly: Well, it's too soon.

John: Why? What harm could it do?

Carly: I don't trust you.

John: What, you want frisk me? Uh-oh, what's that? Some licorice for the kids.

Carly: Ok. All right, all right, I admit I'm a little overprotective. I mean, you've always been very nice to Morgan and Michael, and I'm sure they would enjoy --

[Phone rings]

Carly: What is that? Where's that coming from?

John: Relax. It's just a cell phone.

Carly: Whoa, whoa, whoa --

Sonny: Michael, no, don't, don't, don't, move, move, move. Move.

[Ring]

Sonny: I'm here. Hello. I'm here. What do you want?

Michael: Was it the kidnappers?

John: Did they tell you to expect their call?

Reese: All right, we need this area cleared immediately. Go home. We'll answer your questions.

Sonny: Hold on, hold on. I want to speak to my son for a second.

Reese: All right.

Sonny: Hey, listen. Agent Marshall and I are trying to do everything we can to find the kidnappers. There are clues around here. That's why I need you to go with your mom, ok, so I could figure out what's going on here.

[Morgan fusses]

Michael: Are you all right, dad? You look really tired.

Sonny: I'm fine, buddy.

Carly: Sweetie, you know what? Your dad's just been working real hard to try and find Kristina, and he's going to do it. She is going to come back and she's going to be home real soon.

John: Hey, Carly, look, come here. Why don't you take the boys home. I'll stay around here. I'll help out with the investigation.

Carly: You know, you said you wanted to be a grandfather to my kids. I think now would be a great time.

John: Hey, Michael, what's new in the world of video games?

Michael: The Battle of Planet Zoid, where you build these creatures and you have to battle people.

John: Oh, cool. Think you can take me on?

Michael: Anytime.

John: Oh, bring it on. Let's go.

Carly: Come on, let's go.

Reese: She'll call back.

Elizabeth: I know what being a father means to you, and I'm just really glad you get the chance to be one.

Ric: Yeah, assuming everything works out.

Elizabeth: I'm sure it'll be fine.

Ric: Thanks.

Dr. Meadows: Ric?

Ric: How you feeling?

Alexis: Better.

Ric: How's the baby?

Dr. Meadows: For the moment, fine. But as I discussed with Alexis, her pregnancy is extremely high risk.

Ric: Well, whatever you need for us to do, Dr. Meadows, believe me, we will.

Dr. Meadows: To begin with, she needs to spend the next two weeks in bed. And if she doesn't, there's a high risk for miscarriage. I think you two will want to discuss this in private.

Ric: Thank you, doctor.

[Door opens and closes]

Ric: Well, I'm glad that the baby's all right.

Alexis: So am I, but it doesn't change the fact that my daughter needs me.

Ric: Yeah, of course not, Alexis. But there's no need to take chances.

Alexis: Kristina's life is at stake, and I can't just sit here and do nothing.

Sonny: I should have never brought you along. What if the kidnapper saw you? I'm sure she did, and that's why --

Reese: Don't second-guess yourself, Sonny. The kidnapper is trying to wear you down and force you into making mistakes. The only way that you can fight her is to stay in control.

Sonny: Oh, yeah, you really think so? Huh? What if I never hear from her again? What if while we're yapping here the kidnapper took my daughter out of --?

[Phone rings]

Sonny: Yeah.

Faith: $5 million for the release of your daughter. Do we have a deal?

Sonny: I need proof that my daughter's ok.

Faith: [Disguised voice] You're in no position to make demands.

Sonny: You're not going to get a dime until I know my daughter is alive and well.

Faith: I will call you back with instructions as to where to leave the money.

Reese: Nicely done.

Sonny: We'll see.

Ric: Alexis, nobody is asking you to stop worrying about Kristina, least of all me. I love that little girl just as -- just as if she were my own.

Alexis: I know you do. She's very lucky to have you.

Ric: But I also love this baby, too, and I want to do everything that I can to protect him or her.

Alexis: What if the kidnapper for some reason wants to see me? Do you honestly think that I could sit here and do nothing?

Ric: That hasn't happened yet.

Alexis: But it could. What if it does?

Ric: When and if that happens, we will deal with it. Meanwhile, everybody's doing whatever they can to find Kristina. Alexis, you can't do anything else at this point except keep yourself healthy for Kristina’s brother or sister.

Alexis: I promise you I will do the best that I can. I want this baby, and I want it with you.

Ric: Just rest and try to relax, ok?

Alexis: Come in.

Sam: Hey.

Alexis: Hi.

Sam: I just wanted to see how you were doing.

Alexis: I'm all right, Sam. I'm pregnant.

Sam: Congratulations.

Alexis: I certainly didn't know that when I fell down the stairs. If I had, I wouldn't have chased you.

Sam: Wow. When are you due?

Alexis: We haven't gotten that far yet. I have a very high-risk pregnancy, Sam. If you hadn't been there for me when I fell, I might have gotten up and lost the baby.

Sam: Well, I'm glad I could help.

Alexis: I'm so sorry I accused you of taking my daughter.

Sam: Alexis, you were desperate to find your daughter. I do not blame you for anything.

Alexis: Thank you, really. You can sit down if you'd like.

Sam: No. You should be resting. Thank you for the apology. I hope everything works out with you and your baby.

Max: It's all there.

Reese: Everything set? You've got her guessing now, Sonny. All you have to do is play it out.

Sonny: You sure about that, Agent Marshall? Or is this another one of your theories?

Reese: The kidnapper's trying to grind you down. The longer you can keep it together, the more clues she's going to drop.

Sonny: You'd better be right.

[Phone rings]

Sonny: Yeah.

Faith: 453 Mount Olive Street, 10 minutes.

Alexis: Is it really necessary for me to stay in this wheelchair? I think I could release a lot more stress if I could get up and pace.

Nurse: Another nurse will meet you upstairs.

Alexis: Thank you.

Carly: Just hold -- hold the elevator!

Alexis: Oh, there will be another elevator -- never mind.

Carly: Well, I'm in a hurry. You know, these are the slowest elevators in the world.

[Noise]

Carly: Oh --

Alexis: Oh, God. Not again! This can't be happening.

Carly: Ok, it's all right; it's all right, all right. It's just -- I’ll call for help and -- do me a favor. Just don't tell me your deep, dark secrets while we're in here, ok?

Alexis: Well, I probably shouldn't talk to you at all. The doctor said I'm supposed to avoid any more stress.

Carly: I'm probably supposed to ask why.

Alexis: I'm pregnant.

Jason: I got an idea where Kristina might be.

Sam: Ok. All right, well, wherever you're going, I'm driving.

Jason: Ok. Let's go.

Ric: You going somewhere?

Kristina: Daddy --

Sonny: That's Kristina. Open up! Hey. Kristina. She can hear me.

Reese: It's a webcam. She's all right.

Sonny: Hey. Hey, daddy's going to bring you home, ok? I'm going to come get you. All you got to do is hang on.
