"This Is Stupid"

Lorenzo: The charges will never stick.

Mac: Oh, you could be surprised. This time I think we finally got you.

Ric: This is the results of a D.N.A. test run on the remaining pill from the dose that killed Mary Bishop. It shows conclusively that your D.N.A. was on it, Mr. Alcazar.

Lorenzo: I didn't kill Mary Bishop. I was out of town at the time of her death.

Ric: This report says otherwise.

Lorenzo: Well, reports can be erroneous.

Ric: Really? Well, it was signed by a qualified expert in the field. You want to take a look at that?

Steven: First off, those findings are false, and secondly, that's not actually my signature.

Ric: What are you talking about?

Steven: Your evidence is a forgery.

Alexis: Oh, listen, no, I don't want to keep you from work.

Mike: Hey, when it comes to my granddaughter, there's nothing that can't wait. Listen, kids love having family around. Spending time with Sonny will be good for Kristina.

Ric: Any chance that the test was fabricated?

Mac: Anything's possible, but it looked authentic to our forensics people.

Steven: The conclusions on that report are false. I would never have signed it, and I didn't.

Lorenzo: You'll be hearing from my attorney --

Mac: Hold on. How do we know Webber isn't bluffing?

Steven: My professional opinion is enough to put people in jail. I'm hoping it's enough to keep me out.

Ric: Ok, you know what? We're not going to argue about this here. We're going to get another test done. We're going to see if Mr. Alcazar's D.N.A. turns up a second time. Serino, I want you to get that pill out of evidence. Take it over to General Hospital. Make sure that they get a second test run ASAP.

Ofc. Serino: Yes, sir.

Ric: And make sure also that their guard is stationed at the door. Nobody who doesn't work for the hospital gets in or out.

Ofc. Serino: Got it.

Ric: You two aren't going anywhere until we get the results of that test.

Alexis: Did Judge Phillips' office call back yet? And not even -- opposing counsel was supposed to call back. They were supposed to have notified us, today, if they agree to the postponement. I know. I know. Will you call them? And call me back. Thanks. Kristine -- Kristina?

Bridget: Hey. You're Kristina, right? My name's Bridget. You know, I have a daughter of my own. She's just a baby right now, but someday she's going to be just as beautiful as you.

Ric: You know, it's a shame. Right about now, we'd be taking that ski trip.

Alexis: I know today we were supposed to leave for our honeymoon.

Ric: This is stupid.

[Pager beeps]

Ric: Some lab results just came in. I need to get back to the office and follow up.

Alexis: Ok, well, I don't want to keep you. Excuse me. Hi.

Bridget: Hi.

Alexis: She walks over and talks to you?

Bridget: Yeah. She's a cutie.

Alexis: Hi, honey. Thank you, thank you. Sweetie, want your hot chocolate now? Ok. Thanks.

Ric: Kristina? Bye-bye.

Carly: Hey. Any news on the lab report?

Ric: We just got the results a little while ago. Turns out Dr. Webber was right.

Steven: Hey.

Carly: Oh. You mean Alcazar's D.N.A. was not on the pill that killed Mary Bishop?

Ric: No, not a trace, Carly. You're both free to go.

Carly: Don't take it too hard, Ric. You've been wrong before, you'll be wrong again.

Alexis: Come on. Come on. Look it! Look it! Do you see snow? Isn't that pretty? Huh?

Kristina: Pretty.

Alexis: It's so pretty. Come on, you want to feel it? Look at that. See? Do you know that every snowflake is different? If you really look at it you can tell -- doesn't that feel funny?

Mike: Oh. Brr.

Alexis: Hey!

Mike: Look at the snow.

Alexis: Hi.

Mike: Bye, sweetie pie. I'll see you soon.

Alexis: Can you say "Bye, grandpa"?

Mike: Oh, she got a wave.

Alexis: Good girl. Oh, she is -- ooh, oh, look at the snow, baby. Hey, Mike? Listen, I -- you're really sweet with her and I am sorry if I seemed hesitant at all.

Mike: Hey, hey, come on. It's ok, I understand.

Alexis: You're just really good with her and I just wanted to let you know that.

Mike: Don't worry about it.

Alexis: Eh, eh, eh, eh, eh. Where are you going, missy?

[Alexis chuckles]

Alexis: It's so funny you can now walk away from mommy. I got to keep my eyes on you.
