"You Bought the House that Alexis and I Planned to Live In"

Alexis: It's a good thing my daughter's such a sound sleeper.

Ric: Yeah, you were very loud.

Alexis: I was not.

Ric: It's ok. I like it.

Alexis: We can't do it here anymore. Next time, in the bedroom with the door closed, because I don't want her walking in on us.

Ric: Oh, ok, ok. I don't think we're going to have to worry about that with 10,000 square feet and six acres.

Alexis: Hmm. About this Greystone --

Ric: Mm-h

[Phone rings]

Alexis: I'll ask you in a minute.

Ric: Ok.

Alexis: Hello. Mm-hmm. That's very interesting. And thank you for calling.

Ric: What was that all about?

Alexis: Did you happen to mention this Greystone to Sonny?

Ric: Yeah. Why?

Alexis: He just bought it out from under you.

[Knock on door]

Ric: You sure know how to throw a sucker punch, don't you?

Sonny: Something wrong?

Ric: Oh, capitalizing on the holidays, all those warm-and-fuzzy feelings -- you know, the empathy, the compassion, the brotherhood. Yeah, it threw me off my game. I forgot that we were enemies. Thanks for snapping me out of my daze.

Sonny: Can you get to the point?

Ric: You bought the house that Alexis and I planned to live in.

Carly: Hi. Could you page Dr. Steven Webber for me, please?

Nurse: He's with a patient. Do you have an appointment?

Carly: No. Just tell him Carly Corinthos stopped by. Actually, can I leave him a note?

Nurse: All right.

Carly: Thanks.

Alexis: We'll go have a checkup. Hi.

Carly: Hey, Alexis. Hi, Kristina. How you feeling?

Alexis: She's feeling pretty good. She's doing much better. We're here, by the way. So Sonny's taking Michael and Morgan on a vacation?

Carly: Yeah. They're leaving for the island on, and it's too bad Kristina can't go, because Michael’s very fond of her.

Alexis: I got to give you credit. You handle the blended family very well, Carly.

Carly: Thank you. I am not so sure you're having an easy time of it.

Alexis: No, I'm not, especially when he's just acting spiteful and petty.

Carly: Alexis, like you never acted spiteful or petty?

Alexis: Oh, I try not to do it without provocation. Do you know that Ric put an offer on a house and Sonny bought it right out from under him?

Carly: Well, for your information, Sonny bought the house that Michael picked out.

Sonny: I have three children. I need a lot of space.

Ric: Come on, you can check the real estate listings.

Sonny: Well, Alexis has been going on and on about security. I figured this was walled and gated.

Ric: It didn't matter at all to you that I had already put in a bid on the house, right?

Sonny: I've known about this since over the holidays.

Ric: Really, and which did you let go?

Sonny: No, I've been thinking about it.

Ric: Oh, come on!

Sonny: Your bid just was -- you know, was not the deciding factor. I just, you know, made the deal a lot sweeter.

[Phone rings]

Sonny: Hello. How bad?

Alexis: I realize Michael’s advanced, but when did he start looking at the real estate listings?

Carly: He saw a piece of paper with a picture of the house under Sonny's Christmas tree and he thought he had bought it for him.

Alexis: It's what every 9-year-old boy should think.

Carly: It's the truth, Alexis.

Alexis: I just find it interesting that Sonny bought the house right when Ric was about to close on it.

Carly: Hmm --

Steven: Carly. What a pleasant surprise.

Alexis: Hi!

Carly: I just stopped by to say hi.

Steven: That's great. I have an extra half-hour after Kristina’s checkup, so if you have time, we can grab a bite to eat.

Carly: Oh, sure. Great.

Steven: Great. Hi, Kristina. How are you? How's she doing?

Alexis: She's great. She's great. She's got her energy back.

Steven: Ok, great. Well, that should make the checkup pretty easy. I'll be right back.

Alexis: Ok, here we go --

Steven: Hi, sweetie.

Alexis: With a doctor, you know.

Steven: Want to come with Dr. Steven Webber?

Alexis: Leave your coat right here, honey.

Steven: Be right back.

Carly: Anyway --

Alexis: Are you dating him?

Carly: Is it a problem for you?

Alexis: It's just so unsettling that somehow you and Sonny are somehow connected to every aspect of Ric's life

Carly: Ok, well, who I date and what house Sonny buys, it actually has absolutely nothing to do with everything to do with pleasing ourselves, so --

Alexis: Hey. Nice of you to come, she's already had her checkup. Everything's ok.

Sonny: Oh, I'm here to see my lawyer. She was attacked on Elm Street Pier.

Alexis: More proof that anyone who gets close to you is a target for violence.

Alexis: How many bodyguards have you gone through?

Sonny: You cannot let this go, can you?

Alexis: Well, now I'm just plain darn curious. How many? How many drivers, managerial staff, people like Benny Abrams?

Carly: Hey, Benny died of a heart attack.

Ric: If I remember correctly, I think Benny had that heart attack when he was sent as proxy for Sonny at a meeting with the five families.

Alexis: Do you now understand why I get so worried about Kristina being alone with you? Because nobody's safe with you, not even your custody attorney.

Jordan: Are you referring to me?

Sonny: Hey. You all right?

Jordan: Yeah. I was mugged on the pier. I'm sure it could be worse.

Alexis: My point exactly.

Jordan: How is Sonny to blame for some random thug knocking me out and taking my wallet?

Alexis: Nothing is ever that simple when it comes to him.

Jordan: I was the victim of a random street crime, not a mob-related attack.

Alexis: Were you the victim of a random crime before working for him?

Jordan: This is irrelevant.

Ric: Oh, on the contrary, it is highly relevant.

Carly: Jordan, you need to realize that Alexis thinks that every crime on the eastern seaboard is caused by Sonny from stock market fraud to stolen candy, but I'm sure you realized that working on the custody hearing.

Jordan: Yes, I'm aware of Ms. Davis' propensity towards paranoia.

Ric: She's stating a fact, Ms. Baines. People that are close to Sonny become victims of violent crime. You want to check his history.

Jordan: I don't have to. A mugger hit me from behind, rifled through my pocketbook, and took my wallet and my watch. He left Sonny's keys to his new house, so that in itself proves that the crime wasn't related.

Alexis: Well, you sound just like I did when I worked for him -- in a constant state of denial.

Sonny: We get the picture. Are you done now?

Alexis: Yes, I am.

Sonny: Good.

Alexis: When I worked for him, it almost got me killed. I hope you don't have the same experience.

Connor: Pretending to be your husband ain't easy for me either, you know?

Emily: I know.

Connor: But you were right about me. I wasn't just acting. When I kissed you and you closed your eyes and you were pretending that I was Nikolas, I kind of felt like, you know, like you were kissing me. I got a little carried away, I guess.

Emily: If this is too difficult for you, then --

Connor: No, no, it's all right. It's all right. I'll just stay focused on freeing Nikolas and do what you ask.

Emily: Yeah, thanks. So, shall we try again?

Connor: All right.

Emily: Ok. When Nikolas talks to me, he usually touches me. Maybe he puts his hand on my shoulder --

Alexis: Hello!

Emily: It's Alexis.

Alexis: Hey, I've got some good news. I just heard from Pentonville, and they've granted you a conjugal visit.
