"I
Am Sick and Tired of You"
Judge:
Mr. And Mrs. Corinthos, I asked to speak to you individually to
see if you were capable of being honest about the welfare of your
children instead of grandstanding, which you both did throughout
open testimony. And after much consideration, I'm prepared to render
my decision as to the custody of Michael and Morgan Corinthos. It's
clear that you both love your children very much, and to remove
the boys from either parent would be damaging. So Ive decided
to do what you both requested in private, and grant joint custody
of the children. The time will be divided equally between the two
of you. Is this an agreement that you can both accept?
Carly: Yes, your honor.
[Explosion]
[Screaming]
[Coughing]
Sonny:
Carly, you ok?
Carly:
Yeah. Yeah, I'm -- Im fine.
Sonny:
Jason?
Jason:
I'm right here. We're ok, we're ok.
Judge:
Check the halls.
Guard:
Yes, sir.
Judge:
It sounded like the explosion came from outside.
Sonny:
Max, what the hell happened?
Max:
It was your car.
Sonny:
What?
Alexis:
I guess we can just assume that that was meant for Sonny.
Sonny:
Jason, go home. Check on the kids. Make sure they're safe. Find
out who did this.
Jason:
Ok, ok, I'll take care of it. You going to be ok?
Courtney:
Yeah, I'm fine. Just take care of yourself.
Justus:
Does anyone need a doctor?
Carly:
Lorenzo?
Judge:
Bailiff?
[Siren]
Carly:
Hurry up! It looks serious.
Carly:
Is he going to be all right?
Paramedic:
He's stable but unconscious. The injuries don't look life-threatening,
but we'll take care of him.
Alexis:
Any chance you want to rethink your decision, your honor?
Justus:
The judge has already made a decision.
Alexis:
The courthouse just exploded, in case you didn't notice. Good thing
the kids weren't in there! They'd have been obliterated!
Justus:
Your honor, it's much too early to speculate how or why Mr. Corinthos'
car exploded. It could've been an accident.
Alexis:
Ha! Like hell!
Justus:
Your honor, you've made a decision. You should stick to it.
[Sirens]
Judge:
Ms. Davis makes a good point. I already had serious reservations
about the violence surrounding Mr. Corinthos.
Alexis:
What more evidence do you need? The court has an obligation
to protect the children from their father.
Justus:
Your client agreed to joint custody. We can work out the details
and talk in the morning.
Sonny:
No!
Alexis:
I assume our business is over.
Carly:
You got lucky, Alexis. Sonny gave up the boys after you screwed
up the case.
Alexis:
It's over. Whether or not you approve of my strategy is immaterial.
Carly:
You attacked Sonny on the stand when I told you not to. You
-- you used privileged information that I gave you. Isn't that some
violation of an attorney's code?
Alexis:
You told me to win.
Carly:
And you brought up those breakdowns for your own reasons. Don't
think I don't know it. Because you felt that if Sonny was declared
unstable, then you would have less of a chance of losing Kristina.
Alexis:
If you don't like the way I comply with blackmail, that's too damn
bad. You told me to get your children back at any cost. I got them
back for you, and there you are, talking about reconciliation --
right on schedule. You know what? You're sick. Not only that, the
two of you are the most narcissistic, self-centered couple I have
ever met. You two get turned on by this bizarre mating ritual and
you don't give a damn whose lives you destroy in the process. I'm
sure the two of you will be back together in about five minutes,
and goody for you. You two deserve each other, and I'm sure that
at some point you will tell Sonny that Kristina is his daughter.
Go ahead. I don't give a damn.
I am sick and tired of you.
Carly:
Now, just calm down, Alexis. Your secret's safe.
Alexis:
For how long?
Carly:
For as long as I want you to owe me, and when I don't anymore, I
will tell Sonny. So be nice, Alexis, because I could be using your
services again very soon.
