"You're A Good Man, Dr. Lewis"

Jax: Kristina was with you when I was at the cottage, wasn't she?

Skye: Yes.

Jax: And when AJ. suggested it -- now, I'm assuming it was A.J. -- did you think the kidnapping -- did you think that was a good idea?

Skye: You suspected me and A.J. all along, didn't you?

Jax: Well, as far as I'm concerned, you still have her.

Skye: No, someone took Kristina from that cottage. I'm telling you. I went upstairs, I was going to check on her. She --

Jax: Oh, skye.

Skye: You don't believe a word of this, do you?

Jax: So, what's next, huh? Kristina miraculously appears when Edward meets your demands? Is that it?

Skye: Well, that was the original plan, yes.

Jax: So, what's on the table? E.L.Q.? Your rightful place in the family? The same old stuff?

Skye: You know, if you don't want to help me, I'll understand.

Jax: What -- what do you mean, help? What do you want me to do, go looking for a baby that you probably have stashed in a hotel room somewhere?

Skye: I'll tell Scott.

Jax: Tell him what?

Skye: I'll tell him -- I'll tell him that I took Kristina on impulse, ok, that I made a horrible mistake, that I will do anything in the world to get her back.

Jax: Do you have any idea where Kristina is?

Skye: No. Look, we weren't planning on keeping her for very long, you know? But right now, that baby is out there with the kidnapper, and if anything happens to her, it's going to be all my fault.

Jax: What if I said I believed you?

Alexis: There is no guarantee that I'm going to win this fight against the Quartermaines.

Cameron: The Quartermaines will only have custody for a few more months.

Luke: One healthy payoff, and that'll change.

Alexis: Edward thinks I'm a lunatic.

Cameron: You are (pauses) suffering from a mental illness.

Alexis: Edward is determined to raise my daughter as a Quartermaine. I overheard him. I was about to bring Kristina back, and then I overheard him say that, which left me no choice. I needed to run.

Cameron: And what if you get caught?

Alexis: Luke said that he would get me out of the country.

Cameron: Can you do that, Luke?

Luke: I kept my own family safe from a mob hit squad for over 10 years. I think I can handle ed Quartermaine.

Cameron: Alexis has an infant daughter with serious medical concerns. She's undergoing psychiatric care herself. The police are already looking for her. Your picture's going to be all over the news. You won't even make it to Canada.

Luke: I won't send her to Canada.

Alexis: I don't care where I go, as long as I know that my daughter's safe.

Cameron: And if you get caught?

Luke: She won't.

Cameron: You could end up in a prison for the criminally insane and never see Kristina again.

Jax: I didn't believe that Alexis would kidnap her own child.

Skye: Is that what you think happened?

Jax: Well, we both suspected that Kristina was at the cottage.

Skye: Yeah, and you and Cameron and Alexis searched the place.

Jax: And how did you know that?

Skye: Well, A.J. tipped me off. My car was up the road. I got the baby stuff out just in time.

Jax: What if you didn't get the baby stuff out in time? Because I think Alexis may have found something.

Skye: And she came back for the baby.

Jax: Yeah, it's starting to make sense now, isn't it?

Skye: Oh, my god, Jax. What if -- what if her alternate personality comes out?

Jax: No, no, I don't think Alexis would hurt --

Skye: Are you kidding me?

Jax: I don't think she'd hurt her own child.

Skye: You saw her in that courtroom. What if she forgets she has a baby? We've got to get Kristina back.

A.J. walks in.

A.J.: What in the hell do you think you're doing?

Luke: Is this what you call treatment? Scaring your patients into doing what you want them to do?

Cameron: I'm dealing with reality.

Luke: As opposed to dealing with the Quartermaines?

Cameron: You fought the Quartermaines before. You know how to fight with them now.

Alexis: You see how far it's gotten me in the past?

Cameron: Weren't you E.L.Q. Counsel at one time? Didn't you keep Alexander from death row?

Alexis: (Pours herself a glass of water) That's when I used to be able to practice law.

Cameron: That's only temporary.

Alexis: It makes me vulnerable.

Cameron: Well, that's why I'm willing to stay here and help you fight. I'm sure Jax will help, too, and Ned.

Alexis: That doesn't mean I'm going to win.

Cameron: No, but at least you'll have a chance. If you run with Kristina, you'll have no chance at all.

Alexis: But I'll have my daughter.

Luke: You can disappear to some exotic desert island and never be seen again.

Cameron: And when you're about to be caught?

Luke: You pack up and move. That's part of the deal.

Cameron: Luke, how many elementary schools did lucky attend?

Luke: I don't know. A lot.

Cameron: How often did he see Bobbie, the rest of the family?

Luke: Often enough. He did ok. He learned to think on his feet, handle himself. He was 10 years old when he made his first trip across the continent alone.

Cameron: Did he have any choice?

Luke: Look, I have friends who have been living underground for years in the same town.

Cameron: Are they high-end attorneys with children in private schools?

Luke: They're living the lives they want to live.

Cameron: (Walks up to Alexis) What kind of life do you want, Alexis? I doubt if you can practice law underground.

Luke: Sure, she can.

Cameron: Not for $350 an hour.

Luke: Probably not.

Cameron: You have no other professional skills. You need medical care, so does your daughter.

Alexis: I need my daughter.

Cameron: Then stay here and fight.

Alexis: I cannot surrender my daughter to the Quartermaines. I'll never be close to her.

Luke: Your instincts have got to be good, otherwise you never would have survived living with the Cassadines.

Nikolas walks in.

Nikolas: Everything's ready. Alexis, if you're going to leave, you have to leave right now.

A.J.: Whatever she's telling you is a lie to get your attention.

Skye: A.J., it's over. Jax figured it out.

A.J.: You mean you dreamed up a confession so Jax here would feel obligated to rescue you.

Jax: That's a little uncalled for.

A.J.: So, this is your strategy? Come up with some ridiculous story so Jax will fall in love with you again?

Jax: Look, our main concern here is Kristina.

A.J.: "Our"? That has a nice ring to it. I see your strategy is working already.

Skye: A.J., why are you doing this?

A.J.: Look, I -- I don't know what happened to Kristina. And neither does Skye.

Skye: Give it up, A.J. We took that baby from this house, and we did it out of greed and revenge. And if anything happens to that little girl, it is going to be my fault and yours.

A.J.: Skye gets noble, right on cue.

Jax: Skye is trying to help, which is a lot more than I can say for you.

A.J.: Oh, Jax is now defending you. Nice work.

Skye: You know, I'm not going to listen to this. Where do you think Alexis is?

Jax: I have a pretty good idea.

Skye: Yeah, well, I'm going with you.

A.J.: What a surprise.

Skye: Yeah, well, at least I'm willing to pay for my mistakes, unlike you.

Nikolas: Alexis, if you're going, you have to go now.

Alexis: I'm going to stay here.

Cameron: You're going to give Kristina back to the Quartermaines?

Alexis: Yes. (She grabs her coat)

Nikolas: But the jet, Alexis, is waiting in New York. You can be in Greece by this time tomorrow. There'll be plenty of security, a full staff, I mean, whatever you need.

Luke: Yeah, it'll take Edward about five minutes to find you like that.

Alexis: I appreciate your help. I need to do what I think is best for my daughter.

Luke: All right, look, good luck to you. But if you change your mind, just tell me. I can have you so far back in the backwoods, it'll take some tofu-toting hippie to find you.

Alexis: (Smiles) My sister would love that.

Cameron: We need to get out of here before the police figure out where you are.

Luke: Well, I wouldn't panic, with their track record.

Alexis: I appreciate your help.

Cameron and Alexis leave.

Alexis and Cameron are on the docks with Kristina.

Alexis: Yes, I know. That launch was cold for you, angel, huh? Ok, you'll be warm in a little bit. It's ok.

Cameron: I need to get her back to the Quartermaines.

Alexis: Not yet, please.

Cameron: Alexis, you can't be seen with her. You know that.

Alexis: So we're going to have a session today, right?

Cameron: Absolutely.

Alexis: And you're going to tell everyone I was there and I did what I was supposed to do?

Cameron: I'll do whatever I can for you, but I have to take the baby now.

Alexis: Ok, we'll meet in our dreams like we always do, ok?

She hands the baby to Cameron.

Alexis: Ok. Here. Take her. Ok, I'll see you at the hospital.

Cameron walks away and Alexis tries not to cry.

Alexis gets off the elevator at the hospital and walks up to the nurses' station. Courtney and Jason are kissing at the other end of the desk.

Alexis: Hi. Could you please tell Dr. Cameron Lewis that I'm here for my session?

Nurse: Mm-hmm. Be right back.

Alexis: Thank you.

The nurse walks away. Jason and Courtney watch Alexis from the other side of the desk.

Jax and Skye arrive at Wyndemere.

Jax: Hello, Nikolas.

Nikolas: Sorry, I didn't realize I had visitors.

Skye: Well, we let ourselves in.

Jax: We were hoping to talk to Alexis about returning Kristina.

Nikolas: Alexis isn't here.

Skye: Well, if she were, why would you tell us, especially since Kristina is with her?

Nikolas: Skye -- Skye, Kristina is my cousin, all right, and I am just as concerned as the rest of you.

Jax: No, you're not. You know the baby's safe. Alexis brought her here. Isn't that right?

Nikolas: Jax, why would Alexis do that?

Skye: Don't make us search this place, ok?

Nikolas: Please, please, Skye, feel free. There are 50 rooms in here. You might want to ask the staff to help you. In fact, stay away from that chest there. You touch the wrong door, you might be in a secret tunnel.

Skye: Oh, that's ridiculous.

Nikolas: On second thought, please, do. It might be a little fun.

Skye: Why are you making a joke out of this?

Jax: Listen, Alexis needs medical attention.

Skye: And so does Kristina.

Nikolas: Alexis is not here. I've told you that.

Jax: We're wasting our time here.

Nikolas: Hey, my housekeeper will be glad to show you out.

Jax: That's ok, we'll find our way.

Nikolas: Tell you what, Jax, I'll call Alexis' psychiatrist. Maybe he'll be glad to speak with you.

Jax: Don't.

Jax and Skye leave.

Alexis walks into Cameron's cabin. He's facing the fireplace.

Alexis: Hi. I know you pride yourself on being unconventional, (shuts the door and looks at the walls) but this sure is an interesting place for a therapy session. I'm sorry I'm late. You gave me great directions. I'm just really, really tired -

She suddenly sees Cameron holding the baby by the fireplace.

Cameron: The doctor thought you needed to see Kristina.

Alexis takes the baby from Cameron.

Alexis: Hello, angel pie. Oh, my god. What about the Quartermaines?

Cameron: We can hold off returning her for a while. They're all busy accusing each other, anyway.

Alexis: What if they find me?

Cameron: They won't.

Alexis: I'll go to prison.

Cameron: I won't let that happen.

Alexis: You're a good man, Dr. Lewis.

She walks up to him and touches his chest.

Alexis: Thank you.

Alexis: Thank you.

She looks up at him and smiles.
