"Carly Was in a Car Accident"

Sonny: Courtney, I don't have time right now --

Courtney: I have things I need to speak to you about.

Sonny: Not now. I can't do it now.

Courtney: Look, this is really important, Sonny, to both A.J. And me.

Sonny: So you admit A.J. sent you here?

Courtney: No. This is was my idea. I think that A.J. deserves a chance with michael.

Sonny: Wait, I don't have time right now. You tell your husband nothing he does, nobody he hurts is going to get him carly's child.

Courtney: Ok, wait -- A.J. is michael's biological father.

Sonny: He signed Michael away, period!

Courtney: Ok, well, what about me? I want to know Michael.

Sonny: You can come over here anytime you want. That's a different subject. But I got to go.

Courtney: All A.J. wants is to share in his little boy's life, to have some small part of his growing up. Is that so impossible?

Sonny: You tell A.J. the trade is never going to happen. The subject of Michael is closed.

Courtney: That's not fair!

Sonny: It's fair to me! Sorry.

Alexis: What was the call about?

Sonny: It was Carly's car.

Alexis: Oh, god.

Sonny: I got to go. I got to take care of -- I got to protect somebody. Bye.

Courtney: How could he treat me like that?

Alexis: School time, Courtney. You are now going to get a graduate degree on your brother, A.J., and your marriage.

Alexis: Courtney, this doesn't have anything to do with you.

Courtney: Well, it sure felt that way from my end.

Alexis: Well, it doesn't.

Courtney: Ok, what are you talking about?

Alexis: The animosity between A.J. and Sonny has to do with children. It has to do with Michael and the baby that Sonny and Carly lost.

Courtney: So what do you mean, that Michael is Sonny's replacement for the baby?

Alexis: No, that's not what i'm saying.

Courtney: Ok, look, there's got to be some way --

Alexis: Sonny loved the baby, he loves Michael. Both children happen to be carly's.

Courtney: Ok, so?

Alexis: So Sonny is wondering whether A.J. sent you over here on this particular day because of what happened.

Courtney: Wait a second. Back up. What happened?

Alexis: Carly was in a car accident.

Courtney: I didn't know about any accident. I'm sure A.J. doesn't, either, or else he --

Alexis: Last night her car went over a bluff and crashed into a lake, and there's a very good chance that she didn't survive.

Courtney: I swear I had no idea.

Alexis: I realize that, Courtney. The call that he just got confirmed that that was carly's car, so I'm sure you can understand why he's so upset.

Courtney: I didn't know. God, Sonny must be devastated. God, I feel like such an idiot. I just stood here and went on and on about my own stuff. Will you tell him that i am really sorry?

Alexis: I'll pass it on.

Courtney: And A.J., he definitely didn't know about this.

Alexis: Then why don't you go home and give him Sonny's message.

Courtney: One thing I didn't understand was -- what was Sonny talking about when he told me to tell A.J. That the trade would never happen?

Alexis: Why don't you come over here and sit down.

Alexis: When you were in the caribbean with A.J., a bunch of people came and descended upon you.

Courtney: Yeah, which was crazy.

Alexis: Do you know why we did that?

Courtney: Because you all hate my husband. But you don't know him like i do.

Alexis: We all know him a lot longer than you do.

Courtney: Look, I have been through this way too many times.

Alexis: We were concerned about what he was planning to do to you, Courtney.

Courtney: He married me. Wow, what a horrible thing.

Alexis: What A.J. did was a horrible thing.

Courtney: Look, I didn't stick around to listen to you badmouth A.J., So--

Alexis: Courtney, A.J. offered Sonny a trade. The trade was you for Michael.

Courtney: That's insane.

Alexis: I couldn't agree with you more. The man who swore to love you for the rest of his life was willing to drop you on the spot in exchange for his son.

Courtney: I don't believe it. No way.

Sonny's voice: You look good in my shirt. Maybe you should wear it to court with your sensible pumps.

Alexis: We've never done this before.

Sonny: Sure we have.

Alexis: Not undressed.

Alexis: I tolerate you.

Sonny: That's not what you said last night.

Alexis: Could you please show a little respect?

Sonny: Well, I actually respect you more now than I ever have.

Alexis: Ok, that's not funny.
