"
You're Going to Have A.J. Killed"

Alexis: Are you going to be ok with your foot? You want me to get you some aspirin or something?

Sonny: No, I'm fine.

Alexis: You know, those stairs coming down your plane are a real hazard. You should sue yourself.

Sonny: You look tired.

Alexis: I am. Aren't you?

Sonny: I slept on the way back.

Alexis: How?

Sonny: How?

Alexis: Yeah.

Sonny: How does anybody sleep? You just close your eyes. You saw me.

Alexis: Yes, I did see you, and it was a little disconcerting, knowing how upset you were about A.J. And Courtney.

Sonny: Courtney made her choice. Yeah, it's a pack of lies, but she was warned. She didn't listen. So now she's going to have to live through the fallout.

Alexis: I didn't think that you would be able to do this.

Sonny: Deal with reality?

Alexis: Detach yourself.

Sonny: I didn't want her to get hurt. There's nothing I can do now. Thank you for helping her -- especially helping me when i lost it with A.J. You were great.

Alexis: So were you. With the exception of you nearly pitching A.J. off the balcony, you were a model of self-restraint. Courtney was very happy for your support. She was very happy that you danced with her.

Sonny: It's easy to lie to someone when they want you to.

Alexis: So, what are you going to do now?

Sonny: You look tired. You should get some sleep.

Alexis: I will. You know, Courtney is going to come to her senses at some point. You do know that, don't you? You know, we'll get an annulment. Figure out the statutes for that. And A.J.'s, of course, not going to have any objection now that you're not trading michael for Courtney, so i don't think --

Sonny: Um -- do you need some help with that?

Alexis: I think you need to call a locksmith.

Sonny: First thing tomorrow.

Alexis: I'm kind of in the mood for a cappuccino.

Sonny: You're already wound up as it is.

Alexis: Feel better.

Sonny goes into his apartment, Alexis goes into hers.

Kristina: Oh, I thought I heard voices. Welcome home.

Alexis: Thank you.

Kristina: Don't take this the wrong way, but, Alexis, you look awful.

Alexis: I'm tired.

Kristina: Well, anyways, I got your message. So everything worked out ok with Courtney?

Alexis: Oh, it was peachy. A.J. and Courtney are now married. She's blissfully happy and Sonny paid for the reception.

Kristina: And Sonny is handling this ok?

Alexis: Evidently. Danced at the wedding, beat me at cards, slept all the way home.

Kristina: Wow. So that's good, I take it.

Alexis: I seriously doubt it.

Kristina: Well, A.J. and Courtney are married. I mean, the whole thing should be over now, right? Or is something else about to happen?

Kristina: Oh! Perfect timing.

Alexis: Oh, good. I hope there's caffeine in that.

Kristina: There is plenty of caffeine, keep you up for a week -- not that you need it.

Alexis: Thank you. I have a busy day ahead of me. I know that I want to spend some time looking -- getting a copy of A.J. and Courtney's marriage certificate because I want to see what kind of laws apply if it's in New York --

[knock on door]

Kristina: Hmm.

Ned: Hi.

Kristina: Hi.

Alexis: Thought you'd be over at your family's, giving them the good news. Sonny's little sister is now A.J.'s permanent hostage. Congratulations. Well done.

Ned: I had no idea they would get married.

Alexis: You know, of course, that A.J.'s lying to her.

Ned: And she'll probably get her heart broken. Happens to the best of us when you put your faith in the wrong person. I trusted you, Alexis. I trusted you.

Alexis: You know that A.J. doesn't love Courtney. You know that he doesn't respect her, that he's going to do nothing to honor their marriage vows. In fact, what he most likely will do is sleep with her till he gets bored and then torture her as a way of getting back at her brother. Is that ok with you?

Ned: I have no idea what my cousin will do. But if you don't like the way he behaves, why don't you take a good, long look at what Sonny did to provoke him.

Alexis: I would be more interested in focusing on a solution. Are you going to do anything about this?

Ned: I don't see there's anything to do.

Alexis: Fine. I'll do it.

Alexis leaves.

Ned: Your sister was the most intelligent woman I've ever met, and now she is -- she's losing it. Her career is shot. She's throwing away her life.

Kristina: And she's breaking your heart -- again.

Alexis: Is anyone here aware that Courtney is married to A.J.?

Edward: You don't -- you don't say?

Monica: He married her?

Alexis: In a private ceremony. Sonny and I showed up sometime later, then Ned and Jax and Skye showed up, and Sonny offered to throw Courtney a wedding reception. And while Courtney chatted it up with the guests, A.J. took Sonny out on the terrace and offered to trade her for his son.

Edward: Well, if Sonny chose to see it that way, it's certainly not A.J.'s fault.

Alexis: Edward, let me clarify the language for you. Your grandson tried to coerce my client into revoking Michael's adoption in exchange for the return of his sister. That's extortion. It's illegal. So is fraud, which A.J. perpetrated against Courtney by marrying her under false pretenses. Not only is he despicable, he's a criminal, and I will take great pleasure in proving that.

Edward: If that's why Sonny sent you here -- to threaten us -- you may tell him that the Quartermaines are not to be intimidated.

Lila: Alexis is right, Edward.

Kristina: I saw what went on between you and Alexis just now. Ned, I heard it in your voice. It wasn't the words that you were saying, but it was what was underneath the words. It was passion.

Ned: No. That's what anger sounds like --

Kristina: No.

Ned: And frustration and wishing you could reach out and shake this person to see what kind of mess they're making of their life.

Kristina: I can't believe --

Ned: But they're so consumed by their own --

Kristina: I can't believe that you would be so blind! Or maybe I can believe it. You know, I have been walking on eggshells around Alexis, trying not to hurt her just in case she still had feelings for you. And in all of my new-age awareness, you know what? I think that I was wrong. You're the one who is still tied to Alexis.

Ned: If you don't want to believe that I am over Alexis, I really don't know what i can possibly do --

Kristina: I do, I do --

Ned: To convince you.

Kristina: I do want to believe it. I care about you so much. If I didn't -- if I didn't want this, you know what? I would've walked out on you a long time ago. But what is this? I mean, who are we? We have fun together, we laugh, we have a good time, but what is it that we want? It's like -- it's like Zander said. You know, if two people really love each other --

Ned: Wait -- hold on. Wait a minute. Hold -- you're discussing our relationship with Zander? And you're taking his word over mine?

Kristina: No, Zander is just a friend of mine. But you know what? In this case, I think he sees things a hell of a lot more clearly than I do or you do.

Ned: You know, I have been -- I have been dealing with my -- my crazy family this last 24 hours, and I'm really tired. And I'm also really tired of trying to convince you that what you think you see between me and Alexis isn't there. And I just -- I just want to drop it, ok? I just really don't need this right now.

Kristina: Yeah, you know what? Neither do I. Because the more I see what's going on, the more I see that you just see me as Alexis without the baggage.

Alexis: A.J. Made it clear that his sole purpose for marrying Courtney was to trade her for his son.

Edward: He was only trying to get his child back.

Lila: That will be enough, Edward. What A.J. is doing is wrong. This family must put a stop to it.

Alexis: Thank you, lila. I can always count on you to be a voice of reason.

Lila: Thank you, Alexis, for coming. And, please, give Mr. Corinthos my very warmest regards.

Alexis: I will.

Sonny: You sure about these people?

Benny: Yeah, listen, they come highly recommended.

Sonny: They should be. They charge enough. All right. Small bills, nonsequential, as agreed.

Benny: With all due respect, maybe -- maybe we should wait?

Sonny: Time will only hurt people involved, ok? I want this clean, quick, and over.

Benny: Could -- could we have a word alone?

Sonny: Max, can you wait outside?

Sonny: What?

Benny: These guys are good and there won't be any evidence, but there also won't be any question that you had a hand in this. And so you're looking at -- well, you're looking at fallout with everybody from your lawyer to your family. Ok, now, if you wait six months, if you can wait a year, right, accidents happen. Now, also, i've been trying to locate jason, and I -- you know, I -- he's going to check in sooner or later.

Sonny: I waited too long for this. It should've happened years ago. I just want to know that these people can do the work.

Benny: Yeah, absolutely.

Sonny: Ok, I don't want to hear about this again.

Benny: Ok.

Sonny: I don't want to talk about it.

Alexis enters the hallway and overhears this.

Sonny: Without a trace, Benny.

Benny: Understood.

Alexis: Hello, Max. Benny.

Max: Ms. Davis.

Alexis: If you'll excuse me, I have something I need to go over with Sonny.

Benny: He's very busy right now. There's some -- something involving the casinos. Nothing that need concern you.

Alexis: I'm aware that you and I handle vastly different aspects of Sonny's business, but today mine takes precedence.

Sonny: Did you get any sleep?

Alexis: I get it -- why you're so calm, what you meant when you said you were ok about the way things worked out. You gave the order, didn't you? You're going to have A.J. killed.
