"Sonny Has a Strong hold on You, Doesn't He?"

Carly: It's from A.J. I recognize his handwriting.

Sonny: Let me see.

Carly: What does it say?

Alexis: Sonny?

Alexis: May I see the note?

Alexis: "Sonny, I don't want you to worry about Courtney. She's safe with me."

Carly: "We have decided to go away together. This is what Courtney wants. Please try to understand." Typical A.J. He's gloating. He thinks he's won.

Alexis: You know what? This could be a bluff to try to get you to overreact and further alienate Courtney.

[Phone rings]

Sonny: Yeah? All right. Get here soon.

Alexis: What happened?

Sonny: A.J.'s out of the hospital. So is Courtney.

Carly: So what are you going to do?

Sonny: How did my sister get out of the hospital?

Man: Dr. Quartermaine ran interference.

Second man: He wouldn't let us stay in the hallway outside A.J.'S room.

First man: Then he braced us at the nurses' station and threatened to call the cops if we didn't leave.

Sonny: You can go.

Carly: Ok, Alan must have smuggled A.J. and Courtney out of the hospital in an ambulance or something.

Sonny: I had people watching the E.R., the loading docks, everything. The only thing we couldn't cover was the medevac helicopter.

Alexis: Do you think that Alan would willingly misuse emergency equipment?

Carly: Look, A.J. can get Alan to do anything. All he has to do is play on his guilt about being a bad father.

Alexis: We have to assume that they're already at the airport. All right, so maybe we should try looking -- Connecticut, somewhere. Hartford, Buffalo.

[Knock on door]

Benny: Hey.

Sonny: Hey. Thanks for coming.

Benny: Got here as soon as I could.

Sonny: I got to -- I got to speak with Benny privately.

Carly: Ok, you know what? I'm going to go in the kitchen and I'll shut the door. I'll turn the fan on. I promise I won't try and cook, and I'm going to make you a sandwich.

Sonny: No, no, no, I'm fine. I'm not hungry. I just -- we got -- we got stuff to clear up.

Carly: Ok. Then I'm leaving. But call me, ok?

Sonny: I will.

Carly: She'll be ok.

Sonny: Yeah.

Alexis: I'll be right across the hall. Thank you.

Alexis: Carly, I need you to stop.

Carly: Stop and do what?

Alexis: That's what we need to discuss.

Alexis: I'm asking that you stop and think before you take any action. I know that you want to help Sonny.

Carly: You know what? You don't know what Sonny needs.

Alexis: I know that Sonny needs to find his sister, and the best way for him to do that is for you to let it be and let him do that.

Carly: Are you billing me for this advice?

Alexis: Carly, I know that you want what's best for Sonny, and historically you have done things in an effort to help. Carly, I'm concerned that you are going to do something you shouldn't do in an effort not to feel left out.

Carly: You're the one who feels left out, Alexis. You have no part in this. A.J. has never destroyed someone you love or broken your heart. You cannot begin to possibly understand how Sonny and I feel right now, but it doesn't stop you from barging in and trying to manage our emotions and everything else.

Alexis: I'm going to try to say this again. Maybe you can hear me. I know that you care about Sonny and I know that you have his best interests at heart. I know --

Carly: You know what? You don't know anything. Ok, Alexis? You are a lawyer. You draw up contracts, you get people out of jail, and every once in a while when Sonny's bored or he's lonely or he's got nothing better to do, he flirts with you a little to pass the time. But you do not know him -- the good or the bad. You know, you can't possibly know what he carries inside him, all those things, and what he is going through right now and feeling. You don't know these things. But I do because I have been with him through his very worst, and he has been with me. And you know what? I got him past it before and I will get him past it again, and I really don't give a damn whether you like it or not.

Alexis: Don't make this conversation into something that it isn't.

Carly: You know what, Alexis? I get your game, and I'm so sick of it. You sit across the hall in your apartment thinking up ways to see Sonny, trying to make your job as his lawyer into something other than it is. So why don't you just drop it for a couple of days and help Sonny so he can find his sister before you start hanging all over him again.

Alexis: If you would stop insulting me for one minute, you might hear that I'm trying to help you, Carly. I am concerned that you will, in a thoughtless second, do something that will not only impair you temporarily with Sonny, but it will impair you for a lifetime. So hate me if you want, but I'm suggesting that you stay out of this.

Carly: You know what, Alexis? You don't tell me what to do about Sonny or anything else. No one does. Go away.

Alexis: Nothing would make me happier.

Carly: Good.

Jax: Ok, pack your bags. You and Kristina are moving onto the Isabella with me.

Alexis: And why would we do that?

Jax: You haven't heard?

Alexis: Obviously not.

Jax: Helena escaped from the hospital. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to moor the Isabella offshore, out on open water, so the only way Helena will be able to get to you is by chartering a submarine, which is unlikely. You'll be safe there.

Alexis: Sorry, I'm not going.

Jax: Look, whatever trouble Sonny has at the moment, he'll have to go it alone, ok? You have more important things to worry about. Like avoiding the woman that killed your mother.

Alexis: Been there, done that. Not interested anymore. And as far as what's going on here, A.J. ran off with Courtney.

Jax: Well, I am sorry to hear that, but that's Sonny's personal problem. It has nothing to do with you. You and Kristina's safety has everything to do with me.

Alexis: Then take Kristina. You take Kristina if she wants to go. But you know what? I'm staying.

Jax: You know, it's entirely possible that Helena's headed for the two of you.

Alexis: I'm not running from Helena anymore. If she wants to come here, let her come. I'll just do whatever.

Jax: You know, Sonny has a strong hold on you, doesn't he?

Alexis: My not wanting to play with Helena has absolutely nothing to do with Sonny. And as far as Sonny is concerned, I'm done apologizing. So you and everyone else can make of it whatever you damn well please.

Jax: Sure you won't change your mind?

Alexis: I'm sure.

Jax: You know, I'm doing this because I want to protect you and Kristina. You know I'm doing this because -- because I love you.

Alexis: And I love you. I'll be fine.

Jax: Yeah. You know, Corinthos isn't worth it.

Alexis: Then why did you take his side in this anyway? Why did you tell him that Courtney was with A.J. --

Jax: No, no, no, no. That was about Courtney.

Alexis: So is this. She has put herself in a bad place and Sonny --

Jax: What?

Alexis: It's open. He never leaves his door open. Sonny? Sonny? Sonny! Where is he?
