"It's About You. And Me"
Alexis:
Kristina told Sonny that I'm in love with him?
Kristina:
Hello, Ned. When did you get here?
[Knock
on door]
Ned:
Hello. Ahem.
Sonny:
You ready? Car's waiting.
Ned:
Alexis, would you rather all of us go together?
Kristina:
Oh, no, wouldn't it be more fun just to go on our own?
Ned:
Well, yeah, but, well, she and I were in a discussion. That way
we could finish it.
Sonny:
Actually, Alexis and I, we need to stop for my sister on the way,
and I don't want to hold you and Kristina up, so -- you ready?
Alexis:
I -- I -- yeah.
Sonny:
What is -- are you -- what's wrong?
Kristina:
Did something just happen?
Alexis:
No. Everything's fine.
Ned:
Oh, what's the point in keeping it a secret? I think you should
tell them why you're so upset.
Alexis:
Ned, don't.
Ned:
They're going to find out sooner or later.
Alexis:
I vote for later.
Ned:
Look, I'm sure they'll understand. Alexis has this compulsion --
I guess you could call it that -- where she has to check all the
windows and the locks three times. So she locks and unlocks everything
at least three times. It's like a little ritual of hers and it's
just something that comes and goes.
Alexis:
It does, you know, it just comes and goes.
Ned:
And tonight she had a particularly bad episode.
Alexis:
Well, you know, it's better now.
Ned:
I'm sorry. I hope you didn't mind that I shared this with everybody.
Alexis:
No, it -- it's a little embarrassing, but --
Ned:
Well, of course it is. You know what -- would you mind getting the
elevator? I just need a moment alone with Alexis.
Kristina:
Yeah, no problem.
Ned:
Thank you. I thought you knew.
Alexis:
How could I know? Why
would she do that? Why would those words even come out of her mouth?
Ned:
Well, you know your sister -- she says what's on her mind.
Alexis:
It's not even true!
Ned:
Maybe she was defending you.
Alexis:
By humiliating me?
Ned:
Look, she thought that Sonny didn't appreciate you, so she was all
wound up and she just blurted it out.
Alexis:
Oh, God, she's got to stop doing that! That's a very bad habit!
Ned:
Look, she feels terrible about this thing, so if you want to wring
her neck, please don't.
Alexis:
I don't have time to wring her neck. You know why? Because I am
going to Carly's opening with Carly's ex-husband, who's just been
told by my sister that I love him, which I don't. That same sister
is going to the same club with my ex-fiance. Now, aren't we all
going to have a lot of fun?
Ned:
We can do it.
Alexis:
I would rather go snowshoeing in Alaska. I would rather ride a blind
burro down the Grand Canyon. I would rather stick a hot --
Kristina:
Elevator's ready. You ready?
Alexis:
Am I ever.
Sonny:
I'm really glad you convinced me to invite Courtney.
Alexis:
Me, too.
[Knock
on door]
Sonny:
Hey, Courtney, you there?
Courtney:
Hi.
Sonny:
Hi. Alexis is -- she's waiting in the car. You ready to go?
Kristina:
This place is great.
Ned:
I can't believe Carly actually pulled it off.
Kristina:
You know, I'm not Carly's biggest fan, but I must say that this
place really works.
Ned:
Good feng shui, huh?
Kristina:
So tell me, what was that weirdness about over at Alexis' place
earlier tonight? I've never seen her lock anything in threes. I
mean, what was she talking about? Alexis didn't seem to know, either.
What was that for?
Ned:
Are you having a good time?
Kristina:
Yeah, I am having a good time.
Ned:
Good. Until Alexis shows up.
Kristina:
What does that mean?
Ned:
Alexis now knows what you said to Sonny.
Kristina:
What?
Ned:
It sort of came out.
Kristina:
Wait, what came out?
Ned:
What you told Sonny. That Alexis is in love with him.
Kristina:
What?
Sonny:
You said you could be ready in an hour.
Courtney:
I --
Sonny:
But you know what -- take your time because they're not going to
give my table away.
Courtney:
You know, I changed my mind. I don't think I'm going to go.
Sonny:
Why not?
Courtney:
I'm not feeling all that great.
Sonny:
Well, you -- you were feeling fine before. You said you wanted to
go.
Courtney:
You know, I'm not really in the mood to party. I'm really sorry
if I wrecked your plans.
Sonny:
Well, I mean, you know, I thought you'd have a good time at the
club. But you know what -- the idea was for us to spend time together.
I'll have my driver take Alexis to the club. We could stay here
and i'll cook you dinner, rent a movie -- whatever you want.
Courtney:
Actually, I'm pretty tired.
Kristina:
I can't believe you told Alexis.
Ned:
She sounded like she already knew.
Kristina:
What, did it just come out? How does something like that just come
out?
Ned:
You're mad at me for blurting what you blurted to the person you
were blurting about?
Kristina:
Yes! I am very proud that I understood that. Excuse me.
Courtney:
You know, the club opening sounds like a good time. You and Alexis
should go.
Sonny:
You'd have a good time.
Courtney:
Yeah, you know, I think I'd feel like a third wheel.
Sonny:
No, you wouldn't be. You don't look sick. You got a cold, headache?
Courtney:
A headache.
Sonny:
Because if something has happeNed to change your mind, you'd tell
me, right?
Courtney:
Nothing in particular. It's just, you know, a lot has happened in
the last few days and I think I need some time to sit with it.
Sonny:
Well, I know you're upset about A.J. You know, you thought he was
somebody you can trust, and now you know that he was -- he was using
you.
Courtney:
Yeah, maybe I did have some wrong ideas about him.
Sonny:
If you want to stay, then, you know, I understand.
Courtney:
Thanks.
Sonny:
You got my cell number. You'll call me if you change your mind?
Courtney:
Yeah, sure.
Sonny:
All right. Good night.
Courtney:
Night.
Reporter:
Mr. Corinthos, Mr. Corinthos, care to comment on the opening of
your ex-wife's club?
Sonny:
It's an important night for Carly. She's worked very hard at, you
know, making her dream a reality and I'm just -- you know, I'm just
very happy for her.
Reporter:
I see you're here with Jasper Jacks' ex-wife. Now, he is your ex-wife's
financial backer. Any comment on that?
Sonny:
No.
Reporter:
Mr. Corinthos, one more thing -- Mr. Corinthos, please, one -- Mr.
Corinthos?
Alexis:
That was really rude.
Sonny:
Reporters usually are.
Alexis:
Well, as your attorney, I'm going to advise you to keep a low profile.
Sonny:
I don't talk to reporters.
Alexis:
You just did.
Sonny:
Well, for Carly, you know? I mean Jax already bought her a damn
club. The least I can do is make her look good in the press.
Alexis:
There's some interesting symmetry going on here.
Sonny:
Yeah? Carly and Jax, you and me? You make it sound like it's an
accident.
Alexis:
Wasn't it?
Sonny:
Carly wants to prove that she can build something without me. Jax
gave her the money to make me mad and to get back at me for hiring
you. They're trying to prove a point. If we can have a business
relationship, so can they. Now, I think we should go inside before
that reporter over there thinks that I'm not going in because there's
something wrong with the club.
Alexis:
I have to talk to you.
Sonny:
Ok.
Alexis:
Ok.
Sonny:
What is it you need to tell me?
Alexis:
It's about you. And me.
