"Kristina told Sonny that I'm in Love with Him?"

[Kristina hums]

Alexis: Hi. Welcome home.

Kristina: Well, look at you.

Alexis: Did you have a good time with Ned?

Kristina: For you.

Alexis: Oh. You brought me a present?

Kristina: Oh, no. It was outside the door when I got there.

Alexis: Oh. Ok.

Kristina: Oh, that ought to make Carly's night -- you showing up at the opening of her club on Sonny's arm.

Kristina: That didn't come out quite right.

Alexis: So what else is new?

Kristina: What I meant to say is that I'm not the biggest fan of Carly's, but are you sure that you want to show up to the opening of her club on the arms of her ex-husband?

Alexis: Now, whatever gave you that idea?

Kristina: Isn't that what the gardenias are about?

Alexis: No, the gardenias are a thank-you from Sonny because I encouraged him to take his sister with him tonight, and she said yes.

Kristina: Ok. Smart girl.

Alexis: Mm-hmm.

Kristina: Smart girl.

Alexis: And he asked me to go along.

Kristina: Are you going to do it?

Alexis: Mm-hmm.

Kristina: Well, of course you're going to do it. You're not about to sit with a book curled up --

Alexis: You know, you are going out of your way to get me off the subject of you and Ned. Now, does that mean things went well or they went poorly?

Kristina: Things went exactly how they should go. Ned took me completely by surprise. I had no idea until the very last second that he was taking me to his family's cabin.

Alexis: I take it you had a good time?

Kristina: Well, it started out weird and then it got even weirder, but then it got better and things turned around, and we had a wonderful time. We skied and we hiked and we even fixed a car.

Alexis: Well, that sounds invigorating.

Kristina: You know what happened?

Alexis: Honestly, I do -

Kristina: Ned and I had really open, honest conversation about what we want from each other, and we decided that we're going to take the time to see if we can get it.

Alexis: Good, good. That sounds very productive.

Kristina: Being honest is a good thing, Alexis.

Alexis: Yes, it is, good thing. And that mountain air was very cleansing for you.

Kristina: Actually -- actually, it was. Ned and I know exactly where we stand with each other. There's none of that unspoken stuff, no wondering how the other person feels, if they like you as much as you like them. You know, that stuff is exhausting. I wouldn't wish it upon anyone. Especially not my sister.

Kristina: I'm going to call Ned --

Alexis: Don't do it.

Kristina: And tell him that we're going to the opening night.

Alexis: Don't even think --

Kristina: He will be fine with it. Look, we'll go to the opening of the club. We'll see Gia and Nikolas. Maybe we'll go to Wyndemere and talk about the big move.

Alexis: Listen, if you want to move into Wyndemere, then you should do that. There's plenty of room, and I'm going to miss you very much, but I am going to stay here.

Kristina: You don't have to live 10 feet away from Sonny to still be his attorney.

Alexis: I like my home.

Kristina: All I'm saying is that I just want you to be appreciated more.

Alexis: I am appreciated. There's a myriad of people that appreciate me. If you just give me a minute, I can start naming them.

[Knock on door]

Alexis: There, you see. There's one right there.

Sonny: You are so smart.

Alexis: There. You see? Sonny appreciates me.

Alexis: Thank you for the gardenias.

Sonny: Oh, that's the least Iowe you. You know, I did what you suggested and told Courtney why I acted that way the night of the accident. And I apologized, she accepted, which, you know, I mean, is great, and she also agreed to come with me tonight. So you were right. Your sister, you know, she's amazing.

Kristina: I know. All right, look, I'm going to go get dressed. I can't go looking like this. I'll be upstairs.

Alexis: You know, why don't you just go with Courtney, just the two of you?

Sonny: She's not really, you know, comfortable around me, you know. She -- when I try to make conversation, she thinks I'm prying, trying to get something out of her.

Alexis: Yeah, no kidding. Who does that sound like?

Sonny: When it's just the two of us, she -- there's, like, awkward pauses and stuff.

Alexis: So you need someone to fill in those gaps, kick you under the table when you say something you probably shouldn't.

Sonny: Exactly.

Alexis: Why do you want to bring me to Carly's anyway? I mean, it's her big night, and surely she doesn't want me there.

Alexis: Look, Carly was upset when she invited you and told you to bring me. I mean, this is her big night, and I think you might be getting in the way of that whether you bring me or not.

Sonny: Carly wants me there. She even wants you there.

Alexis: I hardly think so.

Sonny: It is Carly's big moment. She wants me there to see it, and if I don't show up, then it's like I'm taking something away from her. I know that doesn't make sense to you.

Alexis: Actually, it does. It does make sense.

Sonny: Courtney's excited about it, too, and I need you to, you know, help me with my sister -- not that, you know -- I promise you you won't be babysitting her all night because I'm going to -- I'm going to show you a good time.

Alexis: A good time?

Sonny: Well, you know, you think that maybe that's something you think you could deal with?

Alexis: I can.

Sonny: Yeah?

Alexis: Yeah.

Sonny: Good, good, good, good.

[Knock on door]

Alexis: You know, I'm capable of having a good time.

Sonny: Yeah?

Sonny: All right. I'll come back to pick you up. Hey.

Mike: Hey, Sonny.

Alexis: Don't say anything. Don't say anything. Nothing, ok? I -- we're going to this opening. Never mind.

Ned: It's all right. I understand, Alexis. Kristina told me the whole story.

Mike: How much damage has A.J. Done?

Sonny: Well, I think I'm undoing it. It helps that A.J. can't get anywhere near Courtney.

Mike: Sonny, if you hurt him, you know you're going to alienate Courtney.

Sonny: You don't think I know that, mike? I haven't laid a hand on A.J., Neither has any of my people. But it's not my fault that, you know, A.J. got hit with transportation problems and -- it could clear up as soon as, you know, he gets the hint and leaves Courtney alone.

Mike: You're good at this.

Sonny: Yeah. I know.

Alexis: Kristina told you?

Ned: About her blurt. And about how bad she feels. Of course, I suspected for a while.

Alexis: Of course.

Ned: And I assume Sonny already knew.

Alexis: He's very intuitive.

Ned: Especially about getting what he wants. He probably wasn't too surprised to hear that you're in love with him.

Alexis: Kristina told Sonny that I'm in love with him?

Kristina: Hello, Ned. When did you get here?

[Knock on door]

[Kristina laughs]

Ned: Hello. Ahem. You look wonderful.
