"Thanks a Hell of a lot for the Beautiful Flowers!"
Jax:
I'm not buying this, Skye.
Skye:
What's not to buy? I'm just asking for your help.
Jax:
Ok, firstly, if Sonny's men kidnapped you, why did they let you
keep your cell phone?
Skye:
Lucky me. They didn't check my pantyhose.
Jax:
Oh, well, that's an interesting place to keep it.
Alexis:
Let me guess. She's in the process of fabricating another threat
from Sonny?
Jax:
Why did you call me and not the cops? I mean, they have special
equipment to trace cell phones. They're prepared to handle these
kind of situations.
Skye:
Well, excuse me, but I don't want to become headlines in tomorrow's
paper, all right? "E.L.Q. C.E.O. Kidnapped by mob boss."
Yeah, well, I'd like my stock to be worth what it was when I got
tossed in this place.
Jax:
Yeah, well, I doubt that'll be a problem. Where are you?
Skye:
Well, they didn't leave me a letterhead.
Jax:
Well, did you hear anything? Did you smell anything?
Skye:
Well, there are foghorns, and the whole place stinks like rancid
meat. I don't know, there are lots of hooks and it's cold and getting
colder. It's on the docks. I know that.
Jax:
Yeah, it certainly sounds like it.
Skye:
Well, if Sonny can throw A.J. Into the meat locker, why can't he
do the same thing to me? Jax? Are you there?
Jax:
Look, try not to fall asleep. I'll see what I can do.
Alexis:
You know as well as I do that Sonny did not threaten her or abduct
her.
Jax:
Yeah. You know what? You might be right. But given the way you feel
about Sonny, I'd be a fool to take your word about him, either.
Alexis:
Did you find the bad man that kissed your ex-wife?
Sonny:
How'd you know where I went?
Alexis:
You're getting predictable.
Sonny:
Yes, yes, I am.
Alexis:
Well, while you were investigating, Jax was here and he is out for
blood -- yours.
Sonny:
Yeah? What does Jax want?
Alexis:
He thinks you're threatening Skye.
Sonny:
No, I'm not. She just, you know, never misses a chance to get in
my face. Only Jax would believe a word that comes out of her mouth.
[Alexis
sighs]
Sonny:
What's wrong?
Alexis:
Nothing.
Sonny:
Well, you seem all, like, tensed up or something.
Alexis:
I'm not tense. You're the one that's tense.
Sonny:
No, I'm fine.
Alexis:
Ok, whatever you say.
Sonny:
I said I'm fine.
Alexis:
I heard you the first time.
Sonny:
So what's the problem?
Alexis:
I don't have a problem. You've got a problem. You're angry.
Sonny:
Oh. You lost me.
Alexis:
You are upset that Carly kissed another man.
Sonny:
The hell I am.
Alexis:
Look, if you're going to break something, break this. But not my
desk, ok, because I just got it fixed. It's ok to admit that you're
upset that Carly kissed another man.
Sonny:
I've overstayed my welcome.
Alexis:
Oh, here we go again.
Sonny:
Excuse me?
Alexis:
Every time you don't like what I say, you do the Greta Garbo "oh,
I need to be alone."
Sonny:
Well, what do you want me to do? I mean, you know, you make a statement,
you're sure you're right. Now, I don't want to sit here and argue
with you, so I'm just -- it's easier for me to just say good night.
Alexis:
Ok, fine, do whatever you want. Has it ever occurred to you that
Carly does this to you on purpose?
Sonny:
You don't know anything about Carly and what goes on between us.
Alexis:
Ok, you're right. I don't know anything about anything. I'm just
your attorney, which is, incidentally, the answer to your question
of the nature of our relationship. I am just your attorney, period,
which is just fine with me. Now, if you don't mind, I really need
to be alone.
Sonny:
I think you already are.
Alexis:
Thanks a hell of a lot for the beautiful
flowers!
