Alexis: You think that I should get away from Sonny?

Kristina: Correct.

Alexis: You think that I should just pack my bags and leave the best apartment that I've ever had, walk away from my principal client and friend, because you have got a problem with him?

Kristina: Ok, well, I wouldn't put it exactly that way, but, yes.

Alexis: Oh, I would. I think you've got a problem with it.

Kristina: Sonny has become more than just a friend to you.

Alexis: Kristina --

Kristina: Be honest.

Alexis: I love you, but you're exhausting me.

Kristina: Because denial takes a lot of energy.

Alexis: You're obsessed.

Kristina: Oh, please.

Alexis: You are a broken record. You are stuck. You keep going on and on, and eventually I'm going to have to scream --

Kristina: You're overreacting.

Alexis: You don't want to hear me scream, do you? Kristina, you are an intelligent, inventive woman with just a little too much time on your hands. Why don't you get a job? You can revive your singing career. You can become an interior decorator, open up a feng shui shop. Kristina we're veering away from the subject at hand, which is you getting away from Sonny.

Alexis: What is feng shui anyway? I mean, does it really matter if your bed faces the door? Or will you lose your assets in the toilet if you keep the seat up? I like my apartment.

Kristina: You like it too much. You like Sonny too much. Sonny is still in love with his ex-wife.

Alexis: Thank you, Dr. Phil.

Kristina: You are going to face a lot of trouble if I don't save you, and I'm going to save you whether you like it or not.

Kristina: Alexis, your entire life revolves around Sonny.

Alexis: Please --

Kristina: You've become emotionally dependent on him.

Alexis: I'm begging you.

Kristina: Ok. What if Sonny suddenly disappeared? Poof! He was just gone, abracadabra. You would feel lost. I know it.

Alexis: That's a moot point because --

Kristina: Why?

Alexis: He hasn't disappeared. He's here, and I'm happy about that. He's my client and my friend.

Kristina: Oh, my God, it's worse than I thought.

Alexis: You can't stop discussing this at all, can you? You know what I think?

Kristina: Hmm?

Alexis: I think you're the one who's fascinated with him.

Kristina: Excuse me?

Alexis: Mm-hmm. That's right. That's why you keep harping on me and Sonny because you have repressed feelings for him. And you know what I say?

Kristina: Right. Right.

Alexis: I say I think you should go for it. I mean, you should make a play for him because you know what? He could use a little passion in his life. But let me just warn you about a couple things beforehand. I think he's still in love with Carly and his first wife was killed from a car bomb. And he has a madonna-whore complex.

Kristina: Ok, slow down.

Alexis: Did I mention that he used to run a strip club?

Kristina: I know why you're attacking me right now.

Alexis: I'm not attacking you.

Kristina: Because you're in love with Sonny.

Alexis: Will you stop it? You are driving me insane.

Kristina: I'm not the only one to think so, Alexis.

Alexis: Oh. Who? Who else? Ned and Carly? Because they both have issues and they're not very objective.

Kristina: They're not the only ones.

Alexis: Name me one person, one person in this town besides Courtney, who you have already misinformed about the nature of my relationship -- and then there's mike, who is legendary for his inability to read his own son.

Kristina: Ok. Remember when Sonny came in here and reamed you out for telling Courtney some personal information about his past?

Alexis: I'm not excusing all of his behavior.

Kristina: Right, and I went over to Sonny's place and I gave him a little piece of my mind.

Alexis: Uh-huh. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Mm-hmm. And?

Kristina: God, you're going to hate me, but the only thing I can really say in my defense --

Alexis: Will you just get to the point?

Kristina: Is that I love you and -- fine. Ok. So, I was giving it to Sonny. I was telling him off, and I was on a roll, and, I mean, you know when we get worked up, you know, things just come out. It's genetic. Anyhow, it just slipped out. And I'm sorry. It was an accident. Really, it was not on purpose, but it slipped out that you were --

[knock on door]

Jax: Hey. I need to speak with you right away.

Alexis: Thank God.

Kristina: Hi, Jax. You know what? Alexis and I are right in the middle of a discussion. Do you think you can give us a minute?

Jax: Actually, no, this is kind of urgent.

Alexis: Yeah, you heard him. It's kind of urgent.

Kristina: Fine. I am going to check the listings at the realtor's office right now.

Alexis: Out, out, out.

Kristina: Fine. Bye.

Jax: Well, I hope that means you're moving. Because you need to distance yourself from Sonny as soon as possible.

Alexis: What is with everyone today?

Jax: You need to sever all ties with Sonny now.

Alexis: You know, that's been your position since I agreed to take Sonny on as a client in the first place. What makes you think i'm suddenly going to change my mind and agree with you?

Jax: Alexis, I'm telling you this as a friend, ok? You need to protect yourself.

Alexis: Could you be more specific?

Jax: Ok. If you don't distance yourself, your reputation will be tarnished at best. At worst, your standing with the bar will be endangered and you'll expose yourself to federal charges.

Alexis: Really? Well, to my knowledge, Sonny isn't facing federal charges. And if that situation were to arise, I would never be implicated because I have never played a role in any criminal activity whatsoever, and I thought you already knew that about me.

Jax: Alexis, I'm going to bring Sonny down and soon.

Alexis: Why?

Jax: Because he's mentally unbalanced. Ok, he -- he inflicts serious damage based on nothing more than random dislikes and personal vendettas. And he gets away with it because he has power. But he's using that power in more destructive ways every day.

Alexis: And what makes you think so?

Jax: He's making paranoid accusations against various enemies.

Alexis: Such as?

Jax: I'm not at liberty to give you details, but one of his targets is an associate of mine.

Alexis: And which associate is this?

Jax: Skye Quartermaine. He's been threatening her for weeks.

Alexis: Skye Quartermaine? If anyone is threatening her, I can assure you it isn't Sonny.

Alexis: Why would Sonny threaten Skye?

Jax: You were there that night at no name when all this started.

Alexis: Yes, I was there, and I told you then that you walked in on the tail end of a conversation where Sonny was telling Skye how insignificant she was to him and that if she didn't stop cheating people and pretending to be the injured party that someone else would swat her down.

Jax: That's what you heard?

Alexis: That's what he said. And the someone else would be Edward or Ned or the legions of other human beings that have been bilked and/or lied to by Skye Quartermaine. You walked in the end of a conversation and you leapt to the wrong conclusion, which I've noticed that Skye has done nothing to talk you out of.

Jax: Look, I've seen the way Sonny treats her.

Alexis: So have I. It's appalling. He is mean and he is vicious to people that he holds in contempt. But that doesn't mean that he would threaten her physically.

Jax: Alexis, Sonny's in the business of hurting people.

Alexis: Grant it, he's not a choir boy, but he would never raise his hand to hurt a woman.

Jax: Well, he's already threatened Skye.

Alexis: When?

Jax: Well, first, one of his thugs was watching her from outside her hotel room. He almost broke in. Then later on, she received a burnt queen of hearts card as a warning.

Alexis: Did you actually see Sonny?

Jax: No, but who else would pull a stunt like that?

Alexis: Skye would! Jax, it's a setup! She's manipulating you.

[Phone rings]

Jax: Excuse me. Hello.

Skye: Jax, I'm trapped. I need your help.
