Act I
Sonny, with a cold, explains to Carly that while his family is important to him, so is Sam. Carly thinks he's going to break their agreement which will, in turn, break their son's heart.

Luke is getting drunk on the "Haunted Star". Skye tries to stop him. He sees a blonde, calls her Laura (she's not) and it's Summer: Part II all over again.

Jax tells Courtney he wants to invest in her company. Tracy doesn't approve and this spurs Courtney into accepting his offer.

Jason tells Sam he doesn't care about why she slept with whom but she insists on telling him anyway. She then says she's giving the baby up but Jason says no way.

Emily tells Lorenzo if he held the key to helping her, he'd probably only do it if there were something in it for him. He tells her she has potential. She leaves. "Connor" emerges. Lorenzo asks if he can work tonight. Mary shows up and says she has to talk to him.

Act II
Mary tells Connor that she knows she's been smothering him and she's going to try to let him live his own life.

Courtney tells Jax she knows he's gonna want something from her. He says he'll tell her later. He writes her a check for his quarterly donation and she leaves, triumphant. Tracy, meanwhile, informs Jax if he doesn't resign from the foundation, Skye is being sent off to prison.

Luke goes a little nutty and breaks a few things after closing the Haunted Star. Skye asks if he's going to throw something at her next.

Sam begs Jason not to tell Sonny the truth but Jason says that Sonny would never abandon his family.

Sonny asks Carly to cover for him for a few days with the kids. She asks why. He says it's important. Jason calls Sonny and tells him he needs to come handle the Sam situation personally.

Act III
Mary tearfully tells Nikolas to be careful. He tells her that he will and thanks her for trusting him.

Emily tells Lucky that she thinks Lorenzo is trying to pull a scam on Mary. Lucky thinks Mary's a big girl. Skye calls Lucky and tells him Luke's spinning out and needs to be reigned in.

In the park Luke cries for his lost love in a soliloquy. Nikolas overhears and feels pity for this unknown stranger.

Tracy and Jax discuss the details of their arrangement. He tells her he will live up to his end of the bargain but only until it no longer suits him, then he's gone. Tracy looks worried.

Sonny tells Carly that he's not breaking his promise to Michael. Carly says she's not lying for him. Sonny baits her and tells her to tell Michael he's run after Sam and see where it gets her. He exits.

Jason follows Sam to another area of the convent. She says that he must be taking some perverse pleasure in knowing the reception she'll get when she and Sonny come face to face. She's not looking forward to the tongue-lashing from Sonny but Jason says if it's Sonny's baby, he'll totally take care of it.

Act IV
Jax shows up on the Haunted Star to find Skye cleaning up. He says that he won't be able to cover for her with Tracy much longer. She asks why and he reveals Sam's pregnant.

Courtney shows up to see Carly. The brunette asks the blonde to calm her down so that Michael doesn't see her that way. She tells Courtney that she wants to take the kids and leave tonight.

Nikolas is about to go see Luke when Lucky shows up to find him instead. Luke says he can't let Skye down, and they head off in search of coffee.

Act V
Sonny shows up at the convent and Jason explains the situation. When he tells Sonny of Sam's plan to give the baby up for adoption Sonny says that just can't happen. A mother's rights? They don't matter a smidge where Sonny Corinthos is concerned.

Jax tells Skye of his plans to take the kid away from Sam, pay her off and raise it. The court-ordered paternity papers show up.

Nikolas is given a Canadian passport and a job from Lorenzo.

Mary thanks Emily for her interest but reassures her that she's well-equipped to handle Lorenzo.

Courtney tries to calm Carly down but it doesn't really work very well. Carly takes off to secure her future.
