Act I
Sonny asks Sam to step away from Carly. Once he's alone with Sam he tells her she shouldn't have come. She insists she did it so that Carly wouldn't feel it was his fault that he was gone when Morgan got sick.

Liz shows up to hear Faith accuse Ric of still being all about Sonny. She exits. Justus returns with Faith's papers of freedom. She tells him to get Luke off too.

Luke tells Skye he's not much for domesticity. Skye says all she wants is to let him know she cares for him.

Nik pulls away from Mary and tells her he doesn't want to hurt her. She says they've got all the time in the world to learn to fall in love again.

Helena tells Emily that if it weren't Nik that died tonight she'd be impressed with her femme fatale qualities. Emily threatens; Helena threatens back.

Act II
Liz tells Ric she knows Faith was just baiting him.

Luke calmly tells Justus that he won't be going to his court appearance. Does Luke forget Justus allowed Luke's wife to stand trial for a murder he committed eight years ago? Luke is surprised Faith was involved with Justus.

Sonny asks Jason to take Sam home.

Carly tells Morgan they'll be together forever.

Act III
Em shows up at the PCPD to search for Nik. Lucky, Liz & Ric want her to go home. Edward shows up and says he wants to help.

Nikolas is sleeping. Mary is watching him. There's a knock on the door.

Sonny shows up to see Morgan. Carly says she's staying the night. Sonny says he's going to see Michael. Carly says she has custody and she doesn't want him seeing Michael.

Dillon and Skye discuss love. Skye blames the male species; Dillon thinks she's just jealous of Luke & Faith's burgeoning relationship. Skye goes off on a diatribe against the both of them and they show up to hear it all.

Act IV
Edward assures Emily that she can go on the helicoptor ride-along after they learn something has been spotted in the river.

Detective Duncan shows up at Mary's and asks if she's seen Nik. She says no. Nik wants to go help with the search but Mary says that they must keep him out of sight.

Skye resigns from the Haunted Star. Faith tells her to run along so that they can issue Skye her litter of cats -- they do this with all the old maids, you see. Luke tears up the resignation and says there's no way he's letting her quit.

Sonny tells Carly he's going to see the kids after she tells him not to.

Act V
Luke and Skye stare daggers at one another while telling Dillon not to leave. Skye says that she's sick of this; she wants it to be over. Luke wants her to quit putting words in his mouth. Skye says he's afraid of committment. She storms off. Luke pours himself a stiff drink. He then yells at Dillon to leave, too.

Mary tells Nikolas that the search helicoptor is outside and that if he wants to surrender himself, he should go do it now.

Act VI
In the limo on the way home Sam tells Jason that when she and Sonny first started, she was just in it for the sex. Had she known she'd develop feelings for him, she'd have pulled out much sooner. Jason tells her to go for it if she wants.

Emily tells the assembled crowd at the PCPD that it was someone's camping gear caught on a branch -- not Nikolas.

Mary and Nikolas decide to platonically share a bed together. She shuts off the light and tells Connor she's glad that he's home.

At the hospital, Sonny watches Carly rock the baby.

At the penthouse Sam asks Jason how long he's planning on staying. He says he'll stay until further notice because Sonny asked him to. She says he hates being ordered to do stuff and when she is given an order, she does the opposite of what she's asked to do.

Luke comes and finds Skye on the docks. He tells her that no matter what -- he wants to try things with her.
