Act I
Liz and Ric talk about Zander. Ric says there were men's lives at stake and that he had no choice. He accepts no responsibility for Zander's death whatsoever.

Emily shows up at the scene and wants to help search for Nikolas. Lucky doesn't want her to. She insists.

Sonny and Sam play coy with each other. They wind up getting closer to the island.

Carly plays dress-up: today she's #1 Mommy. She and Jason prepare to take Morgan to the doctor.

Nikolas wakes up not knowing his name. Mary tells him that his name is Connor and he's her husband. She establishes his history with him -- they met when she hit him with a baseball at a picnic when she was fifteen. They married after she graduated. He joined the marines because he wanted to serve his country. Surprisingly Nikolas doesn't remember any of it.

Act II
Alexis shows up at the crash site with what looks like a new haircut. She asks Emily and Lucky what's going on. Emily explains it could've been an accident -- or it could've been Zander.

Sonny retells the paperboy story -- but not as well and not with as much detail -- as an explanation to Sam as to why he owns property here. The hotel guy comes in and tells him it's nice to have him and Mrs. Corinthos back. Sam emerges from the bedroom looking rueful.

Nikolas doesn't believe Mary's story that all their parents are coincidentally dead and all they have is each other. This is supported when he doesn't see any wedding bands.

Act III
Mary tells Nikolas they took off his wedding ring in the hospital. She tells him to get some rest. She better hope he doesn't have any ID on him. Or that he doesn't request to see a photo of them from before... She tosses a bunch of FRAMED photographs of the real Connor into the fireplace. Apparently it didn't occur to her just to keep the frames; burn the pictures. Frames will take forever to burn. Lucky shows up at the door to ask her some questions.

Sonny dismisses the hotel guy after tipping him and telling him that Sam should have her own line of credit. Sonny and Sam begin to make love. Interestingly enough he's still holding the wad of money that he pulled some from to tip the hotel guy. Kind of metaphorical, huh?

Alexis finds herself reassuring Emily that she did everything she could to help Zander, and that she's only made Nikolas' life better. Emily is still pretty needy though.

Act IV
Carly is shocked when Jason tells her that Sonny took Sam to the island. Carly calls it her island and insists the only reason Sonny took the tramp there was to lash out at her.

Mary looks at the photo of Nik and lies to Lucky, telling him she's never seen Nikolas. Lucky says there is a concern he's fallen into the river. Once he leaves she goes into the bedroom and picks up his coat. She heads out.

Alexis does not react well to Ric showing up at the crash site. She tells him that he did nothing but pit Zander and Nikolas against one another. Ric says this isn't his fault. Alexis doesn't agree. When Ric says it doesn't look good, Emily slaps him.

Sam and Sonny pull back from making love and Sam, chewing on something, looks at him. He talks about his children with glowing praise and Sam tells him that he should be there with his family, not with her.

Act V
Mary returns after disposing of Nikolas' coat. He wakes up and she gives him 'his' wedding ring. He says it's a little loose and she says that's because he lost weight since he got injured. He says he heard a door close and she says that she went for a walk. He says this makes no sense -- why would she leave him if he was sick?

Carly is surprised when Lorenzo, still in his Matrix garb, shows up at the hospital. She tells him that Sonny doesn't know the kid is hurt and she sees no point in telling him.

On the island Sonny tells Sam that he is going to take her to show her off: all the women will be jealous; all the men will be envious of him. A package is delivered at his request for her.

Act VI
Lorenzo tells Carly he'll stay with her as long as she wants. The doctor shows up and says things aren't going as well as they'd hoped -- the kid's just had a seizure. He's being moved to the ICU.

Lucky finds Nik's jacket. Em shows up and when she thinks Nik's in the river she tries to go after him.

Sonny gives Sam some diamond earrings to match her blue strappy dress. He then gives her gambling chips and says he wants her to spend his money.

Mary tells Nikolas that she went to call the doctor. He doesn't believe her. She admits she's been lying to him from the get-go.

Preview
As Alexis looks on, Emily asks Ric how long he thinks Nikolas can survive in the water. She insists they send rescue boats.

Nikolas asks Mary why the police aren't looking at her.

The doctor announces Morgan has scarlet fever

Jason calls Sonny to tell him Morgan's in the hospital with scarlet fever
