Act I
In a rehash of the last scene from yesterday, Zander is gunned down, despite being weapon-free, by the PCPD.

Nikolas lies in the car after the crash. Luckily, onstar tells him that his airbag has been deployed and asks if he needs help. He says "Emily". The onstar employee says she will send help.

Sonny shows up to see Carly and tell her he has the final custody papers. He says she can be with whoever she wants because they live separate lives now.

Jason tells Sam he doesn't think of her one way or the other. She says he must find it amusing that she's falling for Sonny. He really doesn't care. Here's a hint: neither do we!

Act II
Jason tells Sam he doesn't care about her or think about her one way or the other. She thinks he doesn't like her. He says Sonny & Carly belong together.

Sonny tells Carly that while the custody papers don't mention support, he will give her money. He tells her to call his accountant with the amount she needs. He leaves. Lorenzo says he thinks she's upset.

Dillon show up at Kelly's to escape the Qs. Both Tracy & Edward follow him inside.

Emily rails out at Ric and Elizabeth. When Liz admits she called the cops Emily is angry. Ric points out all of Zander's wrongdoings but Emily still yells at him. Zander's body is carted away.

Nikolas stumbles off in search of Emily.

Act III
Nikolas stumbles up to a cabin where he promptly passes out. The cabin's inhabitant -- a woman -- loads a gun and prepares to kill the intruder. However when she opens the door and sees Nik passed out she tells him she'll bring him inside and go for help.

Lorenzo asks Carly if she would've shared custody. She says probably yes.

Sonny tells Jason he went to Carly's to see if there was a chance but she was making out with "that bastard" so he signed the papers and left.

Liz asks Ric to reassure her that she did the right thing. Lucky takes Emily into the interrogation room to give her statement.

Dillon tells his family if they don't leave him alone he'll give his vote to Mike. Mike says if that happens, he'll ask Sonny for advice. They leave. Mike tells Dillon the longer he puts it off the worse it'll be.

The new cop introduces himself to Lucky. He says he got his job because he testified against one of Ric's clients and he never flinched once. Ric remembered his name and made him an offer he couldn't refuse. Another cop tells Lucky his brother's been in an accident. Lucky looks at Emily.

Act IV
Nikolas' rescuer tells him she'll put him in bed and then go call for help. We see shots of her on her wedding day framed with shots of a man in uniform. She tells Nik not to die on her too.

At the crash site the officers discern that Nikolas wandered away from the crash site and perhaps fell into the river.

Emily tells Ric that Zander might've done something to Nikolas. He asks if Zander confessed to killing Wally. She says no. Liz observes the whole thing.

Carly tells Lorenzo she wishes she could make promises to him but she can't. He says he's not sorry that he rescued her from her marriage. It seemed abusive.

Sonny tells Jason he'll see the boys as often as he can but the less he sees of Carly, the better. I couldn't agree more. We should all see less of Carly! Sonny tells Jason that Sam helps; she makes it hurt less.

Act V
Ric collects Emily's statement. She leaves the room and finds the new cop who tells her Lucky had to leave because his brother was in a car crash.

Nik's rescuer tells him when she saw him on the porch she thought there had been a terrible mistake. She says his pulse is steady. He wakes up gasping for breath and asks who she is.

Carly tells Jason how Sonny was completely indifferent to her being in her home with Lorenzo. Jason asks what she expected.

Sonny tells Sam they're going somewhere tropical.

Act VI
Elizabeth goes back to the scene of Zander's massacre. Ric shows up. She tells him she doesn't know what she will tell this child. Ric says they'll figure it out when the time is right.

Emily goes to the crash site with the detective. She meets Lucky there. He tells her that Nik may be dead.

Nik wakes up not knowing who he is. The woman tells him she's his... wife.

Carly hands Jason the baby. She's going to get the thermometer but Jason says to call the pediatrician -- the kid's burning up.

Sonny and Sam prepare to go on a vacation to one of his islands. You know, the one that has the casino and the hotel overlooking the water? Yeah, that one. She's all excited.

Preview
Ric says that Nik may be dead. Emily slaps him

Carly asks if the kid is really OK. Jason says yes

Sam asks Sonny why he brought her someplace that was so special to him & Carly

Nik asks if she's his wife where their wedding bands are
