Act I
Sonny calls Carly to tell her that he can't make it to breakfast because Sam's a pain... er... in pain. She's mad. Sonny makes Sam a cheese omlette. She fawns all over his cooking skills.

Carly calls Courtney and has her come over so that she can take off on her kids the day after she got them back. She tells her that she's going to Lorenzo; Courtney wishes she wouldn't do this. Michael eavesdrops.

Jason is stopped from hurting Faith via Luke. Once he leaves, Luke tells Faith she has to give him fifty grand for the save.

Emily has a nightmare in which Nikolas is shot by Zander. She wakes up and tells Nikolas she feels guilty for shattering Zander's world to pieces and dumping him in such a not-nice manner.
Act II
Emily tells Nikolas she really can't go away with him -- school is calling. They decide instead of taking a vacation to just go have sex. In the bedroom we are treated to a filmy-white, "steamy" encounter between the two. I gotta give 'em one thing -- I don't think I've ever seen a love scene in which the actress'... um... upper areas are concealed by the actor's muscular forearms. It kind of freaked me out, actually.

Courtney calls for Michael to leave. She finds her wallet with a note that says "I O U $20" and Michael gone. She calls Jason.

Faith kisses Luke. He doesn't resist too much. Skye observes.

Sonny gives Sam -- get this -- clothes. Is there a woman on this show whose neediness he doesn't try to fill with threads? She says it's beautiful. Michael comes bouncing in, angry, asking why Sonny broke his promise.

Act III
Courtney and Jason discuss Michael, Carly & Sonny. They agree something needs to be done.

Luke says goodbye to Faith. She leaves; Skye reams him out. He spends this time wiping all remnants of Faith's kiss off him and telling her that he's got a great plan for them.

Michael shows up at the penthouse and asks ALL the right questions: why is Sam there? Is it her birthday? Is she sleeping in his room? Kid really lays it on the line here, folks. Sam finally takes the hint to leave. Sonny tells Michael he's taking him home now.

At Lorenzo's, Carly tells him that no matter what, she wants to be with him. She asks him what he would say if she told him she was up all night thinking about it, and that she's decided she does want to stay with him. He says that he would say she's a generous, well-intentioned liar. But brave. Naturally, brave.

Act IV
Michael is returned home by Sonny. Courtney takes him to the kitchen for lunch. Jason admonishes Sonny about letting Michael see him with Sam. Sonny explains it wasn't his idea.

Emily bids Nikolas goodbye. She takes off her cross and makes him promise to never take it off.

Luke tells Skye he's used Faith's money to buy her stock in a company -- stock that Tracy is gonna want. He explains he's working Faith -- but not her. He wouldn't do that. She seems to believe him.

Carly tells Lorenzo she's stubborn & she is going to stay with him even if he doesn't want her to. "You matter to me" she says. They stand up. She removes his sunglasses. They kiss.

Act V
Michael asks Sonny if he still loves him. Sonny says yes. Michael tells him that he misses what used to be. Carly comes home.

Sam leaves a note for Sonny that Jason finds. Sam returns to her boat. The bomber shows up and says she made his job easier.

Emily meets with Liz at Kelly's. Emily says she can't help but feel that she failed Zander.

Act VI
Lorenzo gets a call from Luke asking if he wants to work together to take Sonny down. Lorenzo doesn't answer.

Faith shows up dressed as a nurse. She puts a blade to Lorenzo's throat and tells him she wants to know who planted the bomb.

Emily shows up at the cabin and tells the air that she's grateful that Zander was in her life at all. She turns around and there he is.

Carly says Lorenzo's blind; Sonny says Sam got stabbed. They both try to out-best each other. Sonny then seems to hint at a reconciliation for the sake of the kids.

On Sam's boat she begs for her life. Jason shows up and threatens the guy with the gun on her.

Carly and Sonny wonder how they come back from something like that

When Emily realizes Zander's alive she runs into his arms gladly. He half-heartedly hugs her back
