Act I
Carly walks in on Sam and Sonny and assumes the worst. Sonny tells her that Sam was stabbed. Carly still doesn't seem to believe them. She says that she will tell Michael he'll come over for breakfast. He's happy to do it. Sam says something's changed between them.

Courtney yells at Lorenzo and says that Carly is only staying with him out of pity. Lorenzo suggests that is Courtney's idea; not Carly's, but still seems to wonder if there's a grain of truth in what she's said.

Jason doesn't want to let Faith live but Luke convinces him that it would be better if he did.

Nikolas brings Emily to the park where they shared their first kiss on January 12 1997. She says she's embarrassed but he says that he thinks it's cute that she did it.

Act II
Emily explains the phrase "don't borrow trouble" to the guy who speaks seven languages. They realize they deserve their happiness (even if I hope they CHOKE on it). Nik heads off to buy popcorn; Emily hears a twig snap <it's not Carly> and turns to see Zander. She seems surprised.

Courtney lists all the reasons Lorenzo is a pig and Carly deserves better. She's just driving the point home for the hundredth time when Carly shows up and asks Courtney to stop, now.

Jason shows up and asks to speak to Sonny outside. Once there, he tells him that Luke called in a favor to keep Faith alive. Jason says perhaps he believes that Faith's innocent this time.

Luke tells Faith he's going to go try to keep her alive.

Act III
Carly and Courtney face off. Courtney says one day Carly will wake up and realize she's lost everything she's ever loved. Carly invites her to take a long walk off a short pier. She leaves; Lorenzo says that Courtney's telling the truth.

Sonny and Luke have a conversation about Faith. Sonny says she's a problem; Luke asks if he'd feel differently if he called in a favor.

Trashy Sam is holed up in the other penthouse with Jason. She just doesn't belong there. Sam says that she thinks Jason will guard her with his life until Sonny dumps her and goes back to Carly. Jason agrees.

Emily sees Zander but a couple interrupts her thoughts. When she turns back he's gone. Nik returns and Em doesn't tell him of her 'vision'.

Faith shows up on the boat and sees Skye. Skye assumes she slept with Luke; Faith says no, he just protected her.

Act IV
Carly insists Courtney was wrong. Lorenzo says that he's not a stalker or a home-wrecker; he looked at her marriage as something that wasn't working and wanted to be with her. She says she knows that.

Jason tells Sam if it wasn't her that Sonny turned to, it would've been somebody else. She asks him if he works at being a bastard. She stands up quickly and is forced down by a shooting pain. Jason reaches for her as Courtney busts through the door of the place she no longer lives, without knocking.

Luke tells Sonny that Faith's better for both of them if she's alive. He guarantees she won't go after him again. Sonny says if she did set the bomb he will indeed kill her.

Faith and Skye get into a fight. It ends with Faith smashing a bottle and threatening Skye.

Emily is glad when Elizabeth meets her at Kelly's. She wants to know everything that happened the night of Zander's death.

Nikolas and Lucky discuss this Enid person whose brother worked as a handyman at the PC Hotel and who's been missing since the fire. They think it's a scam.

Act V
Em tells Liz about her vision of Zander. Em is worried but Liz reassures her that when Lucky was presumed dead she thought she saw him everywhere. It's just part of the grieving process. She says that Zander's in the morgue. Please don't let that be foreshadowing. I've already had enough "look at the body on the slab in the morgue" scenes to last me a lifetime. Seriously.

Faith tells Skye to be a little nicer to her. Luke shows up and tells Faith she'll live. Faith throws her arms around him and says how grateful she is. Skye, disgusted, tells them they should feel free to use the bar to express their gratitude: she really doesn't care. Once alone, Luke tells Faith he needs something from her.

Courtney wants an explanation but nobody's talking. They ask her to leave; she does. Sonny wants Sam to stay with Jason but Sam's not so hot on that particular idea.

Lorenzo feels Carly's pulse and discerns she's lying. She says she's angry; not lying. Still, he doesn't want her to be obligated to stay with him.

Act VI
Courtney and Jason try to have a conversation but it fails. He leaves. She runs into Mike's arms and asks why love can't just be enough. <um maybe 'cuz Patty Smythe already sang that song about twelve years ago?>

Nikolas asks Lucky to be his best man. Lucky says he always knew they were destined to be together. Zander eavesdrops. Apparently he doesn't agree.

Luke tells Faith she's going to pay him more; stay away from Sonny and most importantly stop antagonizing Skye.

Emily smiles when Nikolas calls her. They agree to meet at the launch.

Sonny and Sam and Lorenzo and Carly have wretchedly parallel conversations about love, need and helplessness. I can tell ya -- I feel pretty freakin' helpless about my need to start loving this show again before I'm the one with the firearm in the bushes...
