Act I
Sam and Sonny are about to kiss on the pier when Alexis shows up and serves Sam: she has to testify. Sonny asks Alexis why she's coming after him and asks if it's because they had a connection once. He then tells her that if she keeps this up he will have to do to her what he'd do to anyone else -- break her. She leaves. Sam asks Sonny about said connection and Sonny tells her that she used to be his lawyer and his friend and they slept together once and ever since then, nothing has ever been the same. <Amen!>

Faith asks Lorenzo what she can do to brighten his day. He tells her that what Alexis hinted at was real - they have to find Sonny's weakness and exploit it.

Courtney tells Justus that Faith has been threatening her again.

Felicia visits Mac, who looks surprisingly better. The nurse says that his vital signs are improving overnight. She asks if he can say his name.

Emily, with newly-cut bangs (wonder if they'll last as long as Courtney's?} shows up with Nik at the PCPD to meet with Ric. He wants her to go to Jason with the plan.

In the park Jason tells Carly how brave and strong she is because she didn't destroy Sonny on the stand. They are sharing a close moment when Lorenzo shows up and is disturbed at the sight.

Act II
For *whatever* reason, Sonny feels compelled to tell Sam what it was like to be with a real woman -- Alexis. He says that they used to be close, really good friends; hang out, ya know, after work. One night they had sex; maybe she was hoping for more. She pulled away. Then her sister died in an explosion meant for him and she's hated him since then. "Another beautiful friendship sacrificed on the alter of the casual fling," Sam says. Sonny tells her not to fall in love with him. She says that she won't.

Carly tells Lorenzo that she knows he loves her but she also knows how much he hates Sonny, and sometimes those things become intertwined.

Emily and Nik ask Jason to say Capelli killed Zander. Jason says, "but I can't do that -- that would be lying".

Felicia tells Mac he looks much better. He tries to speak but it doesn't work out.

Act III
Ric asks Jason to sign the statement. Jason says that he doesn't trust Ric. Ric suggests that Liz meant something to him once; could he just do it for her?

Maxie shows up to visit Mac. Felicia leaves. Maxie begins to cry and tells him she has something important to tell him.

Courtney meets with Faith in the park. Faith's got a shipment coming in tonight and wants Courtney to remove her guards. Courtney tells her to go to hell. Faith says she's in no position to bargain -- if she goes to Sonny he'll lose custody of his no-neck brats forever.

On the stand Alexis asks Sam if Mr. Corinthos has ever paid her for sex. She says no. Alexis produces evidence of Sam having been arrested in Texas for prostitution. As well, she was charged in stealing nineteen cars and the charges were dropped in exchange for her testimony against the leader of the car theft ring. Sam asks what this has to do with Sonny's kids. Alexis asks if she's ever met the children or had any occasion to spend any time with them. Carly looks stricken.

Act IV
Jason signs the papers and tells Ric he still doesn't trust him. He leaves and runs into Courtney outside. She lies about her reason for being there; he wants her to tell him the truth.

Ric tells Nik and Em that the case is officially closed now -- Capelli has been named as Zander's killer.

Maxie pours her heart out to Mac in the hospital. She tells him that Zander was with her most of the time he was on the run. She says he was a perfect gentleman; he never even tried to kiss her. She says Zander was sweet and just really misunderstood, and that she's so sorry because Zander's dead and he's here, burned so badly he can't even speak.

In the courtroom Justus asks Lorenzo some questions. Lorenzo says that he took Carly to South America without her consent. He says he also paid Marcela to impersonate Lily because he was in love with Carly and still is. Justus suggests this is just a sick obsession with another man's wife and has nothing to do with love.

Act V
Justus asks Sonny to tell the court about life with his boy, in particular, the safety features he has. He talks about his state-of-the-art security, as well as saying he has bulletproof glass. (Um, hi? 'I have bulletproof glass. WRONG ANSWER - you don't want the court to know they're in danger'. Oh, sorry, flashback to four years ago... anyone else remember that convo? ) Justus finishes and Alexis stands up. "Isn't it true you detonated a bomb in your apartment?"

Courtney tells Jason about Faith's threats.

In the hospital Felicia tells Mac that this would be a perfect time to rehash old arguments since he can't argue now. The nurse shows up to change the bandages. The patient begs off.

Act VI
On the stand Alexis asks about Lily, and Brenda. She then looks a combination of scared, frenetic, and ready to push forward and protect HER daughter no matter what she has to do. "Are you claustrophobic?," she asks quickly, not able to look him in the eyes. He says he doesn't like enclosed spaces. She asks why, and suggests it might be because his step-father used to lock him in a closet and beat him. Sonny looks increasingly surprised that she's bringing this up; SHE doesn't want to bring it up and Carly's yelling for her to QUIT bringing it up.

Liz and Ric leave the hospital, glad they can put the Zander chapter behind them.

Em and Nik walk in the park and discuss how they can get on with their lives now.

In the hospital "Mac" tells the nurse his bandages were just changed two hours ago. She leaves him alone. Once alone, Zander triumphantly rips off the fake bandages and proves he's, like, a hundred percent fine.

Ric tells Em & Nik they can all forget about Zander now. Em asks Liz if she's ever gonna tell the kid about its real daddy

The judge instructs Carly to control herself. Carly instructs the judge to control Alexis. Carly then belligerently states that Alexis has her own agenda where this case is concerned
