Act I
Ric freaks out when it becomes apparent that Liz has left the island.

Liz wakes up after the car accident and reassures herself and the baby that they are OK.

Dillon listens as Tracy and Ned discuss the plan.

On the stand Alexis asks if Sonny has a history of severe nervous breakdowns. Carly looks at Sonny. Alexis says she realizes this is very difficult testimony for her, and then repeats the question. Carly wipes away a tear as she says her husband has never suffered a nervous breakdown. (And she trips over the word nervous too). Sonny and Alexis are shocked.

Lucky finds Liz and she tells him that she killed Zander.

Ric tells Emily and Nikolas that Sonny owes him a favor; he'll figure something out. He gets a phone call that Liz wrecked the car and is on her way to the hospital.

Luke's roasting marshmallows by Skye's fireplace. She complains about what a burden it is to have Edward around. Luke says some men need a firm hand. She asks what that's supposed to mean; he suggests she find out. Edward shows up and tells Luke not to plan on spending the evening. Dillon shows up and says he's got news but he won't live to see puberty if his mother finds out he's told them.

On the stand, Carly lies every time Alexis answers a question. Alexis, increasingly frustrated, pulls every trick out of her hat to get Carly to say what needs to be said in order to win the case, but Carly refuses to do the very thing she said she'd do when she asked Alexis to put her on the stand. Alexis walks over and looks at Sonny for several seconds before trying again. Eventually, the judge says that she's badgering her own witness, and Alexis gives up.

Act II
On the stand, Justus asks Carly if she's afraid of Sonny. She says no. Lorenzo looks incredibly disappointed in Carly.She is excused. Court is adjourned. Alexis puts her stuff away in a hurry and tells Carly, "You may be so co-FREAKIN' dependant that you don't care about the welfare of your child but I care about the welfare of mine". Carly tells her not to even THINK about quitting.

Ned tells Tracy he left Alexis, Eddie Maine and every FREAKIN' dream that didn't involve ELQ -- and he hates it. He says he never would've dreamed that AJ would've walked away with most of the family's money. Ned says he knows what it's like to be locked into the family; he says it's Edward's turn to pay.

Dillon tells Edward that the wiring was up to code and that the fire wasn't his fault. He then tells them about the plan to bury the report. Luke asks if Dillon got the name of the fire inspector and he did -- it's Inspector Morse. <g>

Everybody shows up at the hospital. Lucky tells the assembled crowd that Liz was full of crazy talk -- she said she killed Zander Smith! (Apparently we're back to two names, as though there were 2 guys named Zander that they all knew that just got killed!). Ric says Liz didn't kill anyone -- he takes blame for the killing.

Act III
No one seems to believe Ric's confession. Monica shows up and tells them that Liz is fine but there may be a problem with the baby.

Skye shows up, accented, and flirts shamelessly with the guy who has the fire inspector's report. Once she gets the guy to leave the room Luke sneaks in ostensibly to steal the report. He grabs it but the guy & Skye return before he can get out the door.

Michael is playing videogames in the penthouse when Sam shows up. Michael coolly invites her in. He tells her that someone needs to tell him what the hell is going on -- he'd like Sam to do it. He says he needs to get rid of Mr. Alcazar and he'd like Sam to help him.

At the courthouse Lorenzo paces as Courtney tells Jason he needs to deal with him because he crossed paths with Michael, who ran away from Leticia again.

Inside the courtroom Alexis tells Carly she just made her look like an idiot, not to mention lost the case. Carly says she beat the system for a murder rap; getting her kids back shouldn't be any trouble at all. Alexis says it is and Carly says she'd rather Sonny take Kristina than take her kids. Alexis doesn't think she'll tell the truth. She strides out of the courtroom and asks Sonny if he has a sec, as Jason looks on.

Act IV
Liz tells Lucky not to believe Ric -- she did it. Nikolas thinks he can come up with a way to call in the favor from Sonny and that he has someone to take the fall for Zander's murder, too.

Skye & Luke convince the fire inspector that they're from the capital. They take the report and leave. Ned shows up looking for the report.

At the courthouse Sonny and Carly are talking as Alexis tries to run interference. Alexis asks Carly to step away from him; Sonny asks if he can't talk to his own wife now. Alexis gives a half-smile and walks away. Sonny and Carly's progress halts when Lorenzo shows up. Sonny bumps into that woman from the Oprah show as Carly tells Lorenzo he got a haircut. (Well...duh...)

Michael tells Sam that they really need to ditch Alcazar. She thinks he should leave things like these to his Daddy. Michael tells her his Daddy has a lot on his mind. Sonny returns home and asks what's going on.

Act V
Jason gets Michael to admit he followed Lorenzo off the pier after he followed Sam onto her boat. Sonny asks Jason to take Sam home. Jason wants Sam to stay away. After Sonny tells Michael he has to stop running off on Leticia, Michael tells Sonny he just wants to fix things -- you know, the way he fixes things.

Skye, Luke and Edward show up at the Qs to meet with Tracy. They tell him they posted the real fire report on the Internet so it's too late for Tracy to frame him. The men in the little white coats show up for Edward though and she tells them to take him away.

Lorenzo asks Carly what happened on the stand. She tells him that Alexis was lying. He says that while she may have gone too far, Carly ought to stop protecting Sonny.

Emily, Nikolas and Lucky devise a plan wherein they frame Capelli (who's already dead anyways) for Zander's murder. They say that if they can get Jason to say that Capelli bragged about killing Zander, then the case will be closed. They realize Jason won't do it unless Sonny gives the order.

Act VI
Edward looks at the papers being used to lock him up. He can't believe they're real. He rails against Tracy and Ned, then leaves with the men from the hospital. Luke and Skye vow to get him out; Ned and Tracy vow to keep him in.

Carly is disappointed that Lorenzo is working with Faith against Sonny. He suggests she ought to be doing a little more to hold onto her children.

Sonny tells Michael that things will never go back to where they were before. Michael's not so sure. Sonny reassures the kid that everything'll be OK. Whatever.

Surrounded by her husband and family, Elizabeth has an ultrasound. Monica tells her that the baby is fine, and Lucky jokes that now, Liz just has to decide which of them to name as godparents.

Faith plays "itsy bitsy spider" on Lorenzo's arm and asks what she can do for him today

On the docks Alexis hands Sam a piece of paper and says "There, you're served".

Sonny tells Alexis she's going out of her way to antagonize him.

On the stand, Alexis tells the court that she has proof that Ms. McCall worked as a prostitute
