Act I
Jax shows up to tell Carly he wants to testify on her behalf. Carly can't imagine why. Alexis shows up (wearing a suit from the Sexis days with a cute little belt) and tells Carly it's a good idea. Jax says he has information about Sonny.

Jason thinks if the judge awards joint custody to Sonny & Carly that they'll have to make it work. Justus thinks he's being naive.

Elizabeth compares the signature on Zander's letter to his signature on the custody papers and realizes it's the same. She's putting the evidence away when Ric comes home and asks why she called him.

Lucky learns that Scott has an alibi for the time Zander died. He tells Nik & Emily this and they assume that Ric's the one who did the killing.

Skye makes Edward oatmeal & herbal tea for breakfast. Luke shows up and Edward begs for a real meal.

At the hospital Tracy wants Dillon to stay away from Georgie. Dillon wants her to stay out of his business.

Act II
Carly, in a blouse so unfortunate I had to watch her for a little bit longer to truly grasp its red awfulness, tears into Jax. He explains about what Sonny did to Brenda; Carly insists Brenda was an attention junkie who liked to string men along (nothing like herself, you understand). Jax doesn't need this; he leaves. Alexis asks Carly why she just did that. Carly says Sonny's had three warehouses explode -- how can it be that hard to prove him dangerous? Alexis tells her that the point is to prove Carly fit which may be difficult. She then asks if this is just a stunt to get her marriage back on track.

Ric & Liz show up at Wyndemere at the invitation of Nik, Em & Lucky. Ric insists that Nik must've killed Zander. There's even a flashback illustrating Ric's theories.

At Kelly's, Jason and Justus are talking when Alan & Monica walk in. Jason tells Monica he has to ask her something.

Act III
Jason reminisces with Monica about what it was like when Michael was small. He asks about his own childhood and she's sort of surprised that he does so.

Nik paints a picture of Ric being the one who killed Zander, and we see a flashback possibility illustrating this scenario. Ric suggests Em did it. (Please let it be Em -- send her off to jail and off my screen forever!)

Alexis asks what went wrong between Sonny and Carly this time -- if this is fun to them or a game or what. Carly threatens, threatens, threatens. Alexis tells her she just doesn't care anymore and dares her to tell Sonny the truth. She says if Carly does that, she'll never get him back, and that's why she'll never tell -- and that's why she's resigning.

Act III
Sage wants Dillon to road trip to NY with her. Dillon says he's got to stick around because of his family situation but she thinks it's just an excuse.

Tracy shows up and Edward hides. Luke manages to drive her away by suggesting he & Skye are into the kinky stuff -- he plays Sister Domina and she's Trix. Tracy, disgusted, tells Skye she comforts herself with the fact that when Edward's finally committed she can tell him not only that his only heir is broke, but also a pervert. Tracy leaves and Edward congratulates Luke on his quick thinking.

Carly heads off to tell Sonny the truth and Alexis says "you'd actually do that, wouldn't you?" She then tells her that she's tying her hands. Carly tells her to use Sam. Alexis says it's not enough. Jason shows up. Alexis slings her coat over her right arm (as always), and tells Jason that Carly just wants Sonny back and that this whole thing would just be a lot easier if she admitted that. When Alexis leaves Carly says how much she hates her. Jason asks if she was right.

Act V
Dillon bumps into Georgie in the park reading a book. She's wearing a tan hat, maroon coat & khaki American Eagle scarf. So cute! She asks him to distract her and so he tells her how his mother is making him find Edward so that she can have him committed, thereby avoiding Tracy's wrath which may include sending him (Dillon) to boarding school. Georgie thanks him for the distraction.

Jason tells Carly that she and Sonny will always be connected through the kids. Carly doesn't want to hear it.

At the courthouse Jax tells Alexis that she looked more annoyed than he did when Carly pulled that crap. Jax says that Alexis obviously still hates Carly and suggests that Carly is blackmailing her into representing her in this custody case.

Act VI
Ric illustrates a scenario in which Emily killed Zander. We see this would-be killing in flashbacks.

Skye and Luke try to calm Edward down as Dillon peers in and sees that Edward is stashed there.

Tracy meets with Justus and tells him her plan to have Edward committed.

Alexis doesn't tell Jax what Carly is blackmailing her with, but she doesn't deny it either. Jax says that if Sonny tries hard enough he'll uncover whatever Carly is using to blackmail her with.

Jason tells Carly not to use Sonny's illness against him. Carly says she doesn't want to but Alexis just isn't relenting.

Elizabeth is told to relax by Ric. She heads into the next room to take a nap. Ric receives a letter from Zander in which he is told that Elizabeth killed him and should pay for it.

Lorenzo tells Faith on the docks that Carly's custody hearing is today and that she has to win

Sam, of all people, tells SOnny he's a wonderful father

Michael, speaking the truth, tells Jason that "Daddy's gonna win -- he always wins"

Ric tells Liz if she knows something about Zander's murder she has to tell him right now

Edward spots Luke and Skye kissing and calls him a letch and asks that he refrain from kissing Skye
