Act I
Michael shows up at Jason's after Jason's just turfed all the baby magazines. Michael asks why everybody up and left. Jason tries to explain. Michael is pleased when Jason tells him Sam won't be coming 'round here no more. So to speak.

Courtney doesn't seem to care if Jason didn't marry Sam. She takes off with Jax. Carly starts breaking plates at the cafe and dares the owner to call the cops as she's got a relationship to repair.

Ned can't believe it was Brooke singing on the tape. Lois explains she ran away. Ned can't believe Lois didn't tell him.

Lynn and Dillon take off in the car. Lynn tells him that she's not going back when he tells her that he wants them to turn around. The onstar system tracks them and Mac instructs them to set up a roadblock.

Act II
Nikolas remembers a bit more but not the whole thing. Emily tries not to push him. They say goodnight.

Monica tells Mary that Emily will never believe Nikolas is dead.

Dillon and Brooke keep driving despite the fact they know there's a roadblock. She thinks they can drive right through it. He says that only works in the movies.

Ned tells Lois that this girl Dillon spoke of was on the run to get away from her overprotective stage mother.

Michael asks if Courtney can move back in.

Carly calls Jason to come get her out of jail.

Act III
Courtney & Jax prepare for their date

Ned can't believe Lois is such a stagemom. Frank calls and Ned is worried

Brooke tells Dillon to make up his mind

Act IV
Courtney and Jax are still preparing for that date. She tells him she's not thinking about Jason right now

Ned tries to calm Lois down

Georgie shows up at the roadblock. They get a call that the car is no longer moving & an ambulance has been dispatched because of the crash & all

Act V
Jax & Courtney, apparently experiencing the 14-hour darkest night of the year, return back from the cafe after their date. They tell the waiter they don't want to hear about the antics of their friend.

Jason, having sped over to Italy in-between Jax & Courtney's first and second visit to the cafe, rescues Carly from jail. She wants him to take her out for pizza.

Emily shows up at the hospital to see Mary. Mary mentions she spoke to Monica. Emily's pretty angry she went behind her back. Mary asks if Emily is angry at her for some reason, and then says everyone deals with grief differently.

Nikolas returns to the cabin and looks around curiously.

Act VI
Carly and Jason show up at the cafe where Courtney and Jax are dining. Jason wants to leave immediately but Carly's stolen his passport. He yells at her to give it back. Courtney throws a bucket of water in Carly's direction.

Nikolas has a dream of lying in the rubble after the Port Charles Hotel fire and seeing a woman in a dress covered in shadows walking just out of range. He says he survived to come back to her.

Georgie starts to run towards the car wreck. Mac tells Lucky to let her go. He realizes that if there was an accident, Dillon and Brooke have escaped.

Tracy tries to blame Lois for Brooke running away. Ned tells her to leave her alone. They find out about the crash and Lois runs into Ned's arms.

Emily tells Mary what happened on the roof with the helicopter and says that if Nikolas was alive today he would never forget that image because it would be burned into his mind forever.

Brooke and Dillon walk into an open house. She thanks him for being a great guy and it appears momentarily that she is about to kiss him. He makes her promise that one day when he makes a feature film he'll be able to use her voice over the words "A film by Dillon Quartermaine". She asks warily, "you're a Quartermaine?"

Brooke introduces herself as Brooke Lynn Ashton. Dillon, through gritted teeth says, "you're my niece"?

Nikolas asks Mary what else she hasn't told him about their life

Mary asks Lorenzo for help

Courtney and Jason are in jail. Neither can believe the lengths to which Carly went to get them back together
