Act I
Connor meets with a psychiatrist. He then calls someone and says that he needs to see them right away.

Sam tells the assembled crowd she can't go through with the wedding. Jason agrees to take her home. Sonny tells Carly she got what she wanted and Carly says she's not so sure because Sam may have closed the door on Jason but she left it wide open for Sonny.

Georgie and Dillon feel dumb for not knowing Lynn was a fraud. They take off and leave the passed-out cop on the docks.

Ned talks to the unknown instruder and says if she is L&B's mystery singer, he's quite impressed by her voice and would like her to work with L&B. Lynn listens in silence. Ned exits.

Act II
Sonny accuses Carly of saving Jason for Courtney but she retorts that she's saving him for herself.

Sam apologizes to Jason for not being able to go through with the wedding. He says it's OK.

Emily shows up at the psychiatrist's office as per Nikolas' request. He says he wants to walk out on this whole thing unless she gives him a really good reason not to.

Lynn is playing back her song when Georgie and Dillon show up and ask what kind of scam she's running.

Act III
Ned picks up his guitar and begins to sing "The Only One I Love". In a newly-created flashback, we see that Lesli Kay is indeed doing the Brooklyn accent in her portrayal of Lois. It might be a halfway believable flashback if Wally didn't look so much like he does RIGHT NOW. They didn't do anything to change his appearance.

Lynn tells Dillon and Georgie that her mother's the music promoter and that's who she's hiding from. She tells them her dad didn't keep in touch after the divorce. Dillon can relate. She tells him she can't sing.

Sam tells Jason that he can't let Sonny follow her when she leaves town. Jason says he probably won't be able to stop him.

Sonny tells Carly this isn't best for anyone. Carly doesn't particularly care what Sonny thinks anymore.

Act IV
Georgie and Dillon try to convince Lynn to stay & sing but she says she can't do it.

Ned puts away his guitar and finds an old Eddie Maine & The Idle Rich flyer. He has a flashback of pregnant Lois. Tracy shows up and Ned insults her.

Sonny's pretty mad that Jason "let Sam leave". Jason tells him that Sam wants his marriage to work but she just doesn't want to be there to witness it.

Emily convinces Nikolas to have the MRI. Nik says that he feels like he's known her forever. Tears in her eyes, she resists the urge to tell him who he is.

Act V
Jason answers the door to an angry Carly. When he informs her that Sam left town she pretends to feel bad for seemingly driving her away. A frustrated Jason tells her that Sonny went after Sam.

Emily tells Nikolas that no matter what the test results, he will still have a rich and fulfilling life. The doctor comes back and says that the results are conclusive.

Ned tells Tracy that he was happy once upon a time with Lois when he was Eddie Maine. Tracy says he was never really Eddie Maine, she's always been Ned Ashton, her son. He says that's not true.

Act VI
Sonny goes to the convent in Costa Rica to find Sister Agnes and ask her about Sam. As he prays, he's shot down by a Maxwell Caulfield lookalike. He falls, unmoving, to the ground.

Tracy tells Ned that Lois wasn't good enough for him, and she didn't really love him anyway. Ned disagrees.

On the pier the Brooklyn cop takes away Lynn, kicking and screaming. Georgie and Dillon come upon the scene and Dillon instructs Georgie to call Mac as he goes after them.

Carly tells Jason that Sam is the woman Sonny's always wanted -- a sex kitten who never says no to him.

Nikolas is told that there seems to be no evidence of permanent brain damage and his memory could return anytime. Emily is elated.
