Act I
Courtney asks Jax if he donated the cheque. Ric intercedes and wants proof that the money came from Jax or else the whole charity will be frozen for months. Alexis steps in and explains that Jax will have the proof tomorrow.

Sonny and Lorenzo discuss stuff outside. Something about who's got the better haircut... I dunno. Sam shows up and Lorenzo accuses her of having an affair with Sonny.

Nikolas spots a set of keys on Jason's table. Magically finding the precise one he needs to leave the apartment, he leaves the apartment through a back door and Jason is unable to discern who broke into the place, even with Stan's help. Jason calls for more security.

Bobbie tells Emily that Nikolas will never really leave her. Mary shows up. Emily tells her that she's an inspiration. Mary looks increasingly greener. Emily says she wants to get together with Mary and her new boyfriend. Mary tells Emily she just has to move on -- Nikolas is gone and she has to keep going.

Act II
Courtney goes over to the penthouse to return Jason's check. She thanks him but tells him it's just not going to be good for the foundation.

Sam assures Lorenzo she's not having an affair with Sonny. Lorenzo smirks. Sonny and Sam leave. Nikolas shows up to talk to Lorenzo. He tells him that he almost got shot again and that he needs to find a safer line of work.

At the hospital Emily asks Tony about drugs which might help memory loss. Mary overhears when Tony tells Emily that it might be something as simple as a song to trigger one's memory.

Alexis rubs Jax' shoulders and arm and asks if he's OK. He says he's fine. She asks if he took credit for something that he didn't do. Jax tells her it's complicated and he'll explain it another time. He exits. Ric shows up. Alexis tells him he just cost the foundation a million dollars. Ric wants to dance. Alexis says she'd rather not. He continues to flirt.

Act III
Sonny and Sam are riding in the limo on the way home. She asks him if he could arrange things in his life to just the way he wants -- excepting marriages and other people -- would he want her across the hall with Jason or living with him in the penthouse?

Nikolas asks Lorenzo why it matters that he stay out of sight -- why would Sam and Sonny care who he is? Lorenzo tells him perhaps they saw him in South America and would put the pieces together that he's still following them. Nikolas doesn't buy it.

Tony tells Emily a bit about memory loss. Emily is asked by Mary why she wants to know. Emily explains what a loss it was to the family when Jason Quartermaine was replaced by Jason Morgan. She says his family still grieves for him. Mary asks, if Jason went back to his own life, what she feels should happen to the people who love him now.

Act IV
Emily tells Mary that she often thinks about what Jason might've been if his life hadn't been interrupted. Alan shows up and Emily asks him about the treatments they pursued to try to help Jason.

Courtney asks Jason about Sam. Jason tells her they get along fine and they're gonna have a baby.

Sam admits she'd marry Sonny in a heartbeat but then he'd lose his kids & stuff.

Alexis runs into Ned who immediately tells her that Ric is staring at her. He says he doesn't understand the attraction, but then thinks about it and points out all of Ric's similarities to Sonny. Alexis denies being involved with Ric. A waiter comes up and compliments Alexis on her tango with Ric the other night. Ned laughs and she walks away.

The Qs check out Justus canoodling with Jenn. Edward wonders about her; Alan (back from the hospital ultra-quick) tells him to lay off. Justus kisses Jenn.

Ric approaches Alexis and tells her he knows she can't stop thinking about their kiss and dares her to let him drive her home. She takes off up the stairs and he follows.

Act V
Sam returns to the penthouse and tells Jason she's invited Sonny over.

Nikolas runs into Emily in the park and wonders if they can be friends.

Felicia and Mac agree they had a good time tonight. They leave.

Courtney returns and finds Jax still drinking at the bar. He says she'll have his resignation tomorrow. She tells him she's disappointed in him and he says the same thing about her.

Ric drives Alexis home. At her apartment he teases her about wanting a goodnight kiss. She wants him to go.

Act VI
Alexis tells Ric that she doesn't feel any passion for him; he has the depth and IQ of a simian. In order to prove it she walks across the hall, reaches for him and places her lips on his. Her hair is completely blocking the camera angle so we can't see anything much in terms of the liplock.

Lorenzo calls for Carly and says it's a family emergency.

Jason retrieves his gun and tells Sam that as long as she's happy, it's good for the baby. Sonny shows up and instructs his minions that they need to get married ASAP.

Emily asks Nikolas if he'd be happier if his memory returned. He says yes.

Jax tells Courtney he took credit for the check so that it wouldn't come out that it came from a mob affiliation -- she'd be sure to have the charity shut down if that happened. He says he's disappointed in her for not giving him the benefit of the doubt.

Mary speaks to Tony about memory loss. He doesn't prove to be very helpful.

Preview
Carly, apparently not taking that eight-day vacation after all, returns and speaks to Courtney in "The Cellar". Courtney says that she's not going to do anything to stop the wedding and neither is Carly.

Sam announces she wants a wedding in a church.

Mary tells Connor that the subconscious mind has reasons for blocking out what it blocks out

Emily asks Nikolas if he wants to try hypnosis to try to regain his memory. He says he'll have to run it by Mary first
