Act I
Ric and Alexis go out for dinner. He predicts what she'll eat -- something bland and boring -- kind of like her lot in life. She surprises him by ordering the wine special.

Jason tells Sonny that the only way to give everybody something is for him to be with Sam.

Dillon meets the mystery singer who looks just like one of the members of the all-girl Canadian "making the band" group Sugar Jones. Her name's Lynn and she's just leaving, or so she says when he offers her a possible record contract.

Courtney tells Sam to be careful of the life inside of her.

Emily watches as Mary emerges from the room and kisses Nikolas. Nikolas tells Mary she's never looked more beautiful. Breaking confidentiality rules, the guy who brings stuff to Emily's room tells her the guy in the other room's name is Connor Bishop.

Act II
Mike owes some guy some money and he threatens him when he says he'll get it for him.

Lucky bursts through Emily's door and tells her that he called Alexis and learned about Luke's jail escape and Skye's subsequent arrest. Emily does not tell him about Nikolas; Lucky decides to go back to Port Charles.

Sonny tells Jason he's coming to understand what he took from him when he took over duties as Michael's father. Before anything can be decided, Sonny gets a call that Mike's in the hospital.

Courtney tells Sam she does not want her to miscarry this baby. She gets a call about Mike's hospitalization.

Act III
Nikolas extricates himself from his wedding bed. He puts on clothes and heads to the beach where he runs into Emily who asks if he knows who she is.

Sonny asks Mike why he didn't tell him his debts were getting overwhelming. Mike says he didn't want a lecture and Sonny promises to lay off the name-calling.

Courtney and Sam show up at the hospital but Jason won't let Courtney visit her dad. Jason lectures Sam about being in the oh-so-dangerous Port Charles park at night and she promises to be careful.

Ric drops "Harvard" for the seventh time during their date. Alexis rhymes off a list of her degrees and tells him that she doesn't feel the need to speak of them as often as he apparently does. Especially since she has more and hers are bigger. He asks how old she thinks he is when she accuses him of being over forty. She tells him he's old enough to know better.

Act IV
Lynn tells Dillon she doesn't want to be a pop star because it's all about demographics and she's got a stage father who doesn't know where to quit. Dillon tells this girl that she can stay at the studio if she wants to.

Nikolas explains to Emily that he knows she thinks he's dead. Emily says Mary told a lot of lies. Nik admits he rescued her from the May 10 car crash. She says she wishes he'd admitted it sooner.

Sonny tells Mike he's starting to understand him a lot more. Courtney enters and Sonny tells her he's not finished. Sonny exits. He then tells Jason and Sam they're free to do what they want.

Alexis explains to Ric about Sonny. She says that it was his dark soulful eyes that attracted her to him. Ric doesn't get it. She says it's like riding down the highway in the dead of night in a limo without headlights. He asks if she could take it back, would she. She says she'd take back all but one night. Ric assumes this night is the night she slept with him but I maintain it might be another.

Act V
Yep, it was Puerto Rico. Alexis accuses Ric of being narcissistic. He asks her to dance. They dance and she's pleasantly surprised when he's so good at it. She looks perplexed and he asks what's wrong -- she admits she thinks he's a better dancer than his brother.

At the hospital Sonny and Courtney speak briefly. He asks where she got the idea for her foundation and she says that she got it from him.

Mary calls for Nikolas and he tells Emily that she can't let Mary know they spoke. They decide it'll be just like they never met.

Act VI
Dillon brings Lynn back to the studio and tells her she can stay there. She's grateful. He exits and is secretly pleased that he found his mysterious songstress.

Courtney tells Sonny that she wishes someone had been there to help him when he was a kid -- maybe he wouldn't have made the choices that he did. She's determined to change the lives of the children that will be helped by her foundation. Sonny tells her she's doing a good thing.

Nikolas asks Mary if she's ready to begin her life with him even if he means he'll never carve another wooden duck. She says that she is. He tickles her and she giggles. Emily voyeuristically watches them, crying for her own lost love.

The room applauds as Ric dips Alexis. He tells her the applause was for her. She says she has to go. He wants to take her home. She makes him promise there won't be any funny business. He says he's really not that funny. She agrees to go home with him.
