Act I
Emily gives Sam chocolate and they bond in the elevator over girl stuff.

Courtney tells Jax that she doesn't need the help of any man to make it on her own, and that she thinks she will surprise just about everyone.

Liz shows up at the hospital for her sonogram. A mailman drops his bag all over the floor. (Maybe HE'S my mail carrier & that's why I don't get half the letters I expect...) The camera pans to a letter addressed to Liz from Zander.

tells Nik she took Carly's case because she would feel the same way Carly does if Sonny tried to take her daughter. Nik asks why Sonny would try to take Kristina and generalizes and Nik seems to buy it.

Justus tells Sonny that Alexis will pull out all the stops in this battle. He tells Justus to shut her down.

Carly gives Jason an ultimatum and he doesn't like it much.

Act II & III
Jason tells Sonny that he needs to start putting the kids first, and so does Carly.

Carly shows up to see Courtney at the office. She asks if she will testify on her behalf and is shocked when Courtney says no.

Elizabeth and Ric have a two-second sonogram after which she is told her blood pressure is too high. Dr. Meadows is back in b**ch mode. Liz wants to make sure that Ric will do everything to free Nikolas.

Jenn is Nik's new lawyer.

Act IV
Sonny tells Jason what a bad, bad, bad person Carly is.

Carly tells Courtney how mean, mean, mean Sonny is for keeping her away from her kids.

Sonny says he knows Jason'll side with him.

Carly says she knows Courtney'll side with her.

Sonny leaves.

Carly leaves.

Jason looks confused.

Courtney looks confused.

And I look like I'm reaching for the remote to turn this crap off...

Act V
Lucky and Ric talk about the case. Lucky asks Ric where he
was on the night Zander died.

Emily meets Jenn and she tells her that she couldn't get a
hearing until the next day.

tells Carly that she's tied her hands by not allowing her
to use the mental illness against Sonny, and that if she loses,
Carly will tell Sonny about Kristina. She says she has to give
her some leeway; Justus is a great attorney and it will be
hard to win

Courtney shows up to see the boys. Jason's building a
swing. Their hands brush.

Sonny has a special dinner and gift waiting for Sam.

Act VI
Ric offers Nik a deal but he doesn't want to take it.

Liz returns home and smiles at the photos from the sonogram. She then opens a letter from Zander that says "Elizabeth - if you're reading this I'm probably dead. Ric killed me and you know why. Zander". She looks distraught.

Jason and Courtney spend time with the boys. The phone rings. It's the custody judge who wants to know where the boys are.

' phone rings -- it's the judge. tells him they will co-operate fully.

Sonny answers his phone. It's in his pocket. In his coat. On the bed. Not beside it. The judge says he's set up an appointment to ask Michael who he wants to live with. Sonny haughtily asks why before appearing to hang up on the judge.
