Act I

Act I
Emily heads back to the site of the fire. Lucky shows up. She tells him they have to keep looking for him after Lucky tells her that they've called off the search.

At the hospital Monica is surprised to see Skye has returned. Luke shows up.

Justus and Tracy plot to say Edward's been crazy for awhile, thus negating his involvement in the fire. He won't stand for it.

A suddenly secular Courtney appears in chapel.

Ric releases Jason after giving him back his weapon. Capelli shows up and Ric tells him he's a dead man -- and P.S. -- Brian's dead.


Act II
Jason shows up at the hospital and is surprised when Monica tells him Brian croaked.

Courtney asks Alan what will happen to Brian's body if nobody claims it.

At the fire site Emily is comforted by Ned who tells her there are some reporters outside. One comes inside and tells her that Edward's facing charges for criminal negligence in starting the fire.

Edward, realizing the only way to get out of this mess is to listen to Justus and Tracy, agrees to fake senility. He can't imagine how anyone would believe he's a nutbar, though. <g>

Skye is surprised by Luke's seeming indifference at the death of Laura's son.

At Wyndemere Coleman shows up and tells Helena he's got the treasure. She agrees to buy it back from him. He produces a ring and even puts it on her hand. She asks if he'd like to double his take from her by killing Edward. shows up and tells Coleman that if he kills Edward he will have to kill her first.


Act III
Capelli can't believe Ric freed Jason. He then figures out that Ric is using him as bait to get Jason to kill him and thus put Jason away. Ric doesn't confirm anything.

Emily doesn't believe the reporter's claims. Ned wants to take her home but she insists on going to Wyndemere first.

Skye goes in to see Edward. She tells him it's a stupid idea to fake being crazy. <hee> He says that he thinks she's really smart -- and that he's leaving control of the company to her.

tells Coleman if he tries to kill Edward he'll wind up in jail. Coleman says "I'm a lover, not a fighter," and heads off, with a smile. Helena tells Alexis that she's never been a true Cassadine. , not seeming to believe Nik's dead, tells her that she () is running the family, not her (Helena) anymore.


Act IV
Lucky can't understand why Luke can't be at least a little sad that Nik's gone -- he was Laura's son and saved Lulu's life, after all. Luke just can't join him in his grief.

Emily returns to the hospital. Monica is happy to see her. Emily says she wants to go see Edward first.

Skye is continually surprised when Edward tells her why he made her his heir. She's touched. Emily and Monica enter. Skye leaves. Monica leaves. Emily starts hurling accusations left and right at Edward. She sees that he's getting weaker and more agitated; she knows he's just had a heart attack, and yet she still keeps those arrows flying until his heart monitor machines go beserk and he begs for help. She has to think about it for a moment... then goes to get someone.


Act V
In a surprisingly-quickly dug grave, Courtney is standing by Brian's graveside. She's chosen to bury him hastily, beside his wife and son. Jason shows up; Capelli eavesdrops. Courtney tells Jason she's unwilling to allow his lifestyle to affect hers anymore. They're through. He leaves. We see booted feet walking towards her, watching her.

Emily, at Wyndemere, cries for Nikolas.

Justus tells Edward Emily cared enough to stay and make sure he was OK before she left. Ric shows up to question Edward.

and Luke head to the hospital chapel for Cameron's memorial. They are the only attendees. She says she knows now that the reason he insisted on helping her with her daughter was because he didn't want her to lose Kristina like he lost Zander. Luke thinks she's delusional -- Cameron was helping her because the man was in love with her.


Act VI
The figure at Brian's grave tells Courtney he has something for her. Being of the school of "kick, then discuss," Courtney knocks the guy down. He says he has something for her and reluctantly urges her to take it. She opens it and it's a cheque for ten million dollars.

Helena comes upon Emily whimpering on the couch. She insists she leave Wyndemere at once. Emily tells her she has no intention of going anywhere.

Capelli confronts Jason at the fire site with a gun.

Ric questions Edward but soon realizes things are a little off with him when he refers to himself and Lila as dancing.

Tracy hires Jenn (Carly's lawyer) to wrest control of ELQ from Justus & co.

Luke eulogizes Cameron. Afterwards, an emotional kisses him briefly and leaves, walking right past Skye without uttering a word. Once alone with Luke, Skye admits the kiss between them meant something to her.
