Act I
Nikolas tells Mary that he's seen the credit card bills and he knows how serious their financial woes are. He asks her if he knows how to paint.

Dillon shows up on the Haunted Star and tells Luke & Skye about the dead body, and about the fact he needs a place to live.

Emily tells Jason, Courtney and Sam about the surgery. Jason tells Courtney he'll let her know if there's any news. Sam tries to reassure Courtney but the blonde turns on her and asks why she is there.

Faith tells Justus that Alexis is representing her. Justus asks Alexis why and if she knows what she's getting into. Alexis isn't scared. Ric shows up. She tells him that she's going to prove entrapment. Ric says it won't be that easy.

Carly, Sonny and Jason observe the surgery. Michael's in a hospital cap with oxygen. Carly and Sonny decide to focus on all the "good times". Now, would that be all the times Michael moved around before the age of five? Seeing his mother in the hospital after his "father" shot her in the head? Having to go to the island to avoid all the danger? Having various bodyguards stop showing up to work on account of they died? Watching various limos blowing up in front of them? Or the court battle? They discuss the island. They stand in the window of the operating room, Sonny behind her. Reminds me of 08/06/02 -- only a whole lot less classier.


Two years ago...
Act I
Carly shows up at Jake’s to find Zander with a damaged hand. She gives him a pool cue for ‘getting her over the hump’ as a thank you.

Sonny and Alexis kiss outside his bedroom. They kiss, pull back, look into one another’s eyes and kiss again.

Courtney is a little surprised to learn that she and AJ will be living at the Q mansion with all the others.

Skye and Jax return home. She tells him that she is the only one who has any prayer of getting through to AJ. She tells Jax that he has been so wonderful but this is well beyond the call of duty; she can take it from here. He asks her to call him if she needs anything.

Edward asks Alan and Monica if they can think of any reason why AJ and Courtney shouldn’t reside in the house. Skye enters and AJ announces he has just been invited back into the family fold.

On the rooftop, Liz has just caught Lucky and Sarah. She had set a trap for them to see how quickly they would respond if they thought that the messages were from one another. Sarah tells Liz that it’s no big
deal; Lucky tries to placate Liz too. Liz spills the fact that she saw Sarah and Lucky kissing and that she had to hear about it from Gia. She wants to know how long her sister and her boyfriend have been lying to her.


Act II
Ric and Alexis banter some more. Faith claims she's completely an innocent victim and Alexis must keep her eyes from rolling down the street.

Jax tells Skye she looks awesome. Jax and Tracy discuss Ned and ELQ.

Ric gets a phone call and Tracy eavesdrops. Ric reveals Ross is missing. Tracy takes out her photo of Ross and looks at it. She has flashbacks of the body. Skye has flashbacks of Tracy seeing the body. The two women almost collide.

Courtney tells Sam to go away. Sam says she's helping Sonny. Courtney says she's not. Courtney admits she still loves Jason. Jason eavesdrops. Courtney realizes Jason was eavesdropping.

Luke offers Dillon a room on the boat. It smells but he'll take it. Luke's relieved; so is Dillon.

Mary and Nikolas paint the church. He wonders how she got so far in debt. She says it was all her; she's a spender. They get into a paint fight which ends in a kiss.

Two years ago...
Act II
Sarah tells Liz that she and Lucky didn’t want to hurt her; Lucky backs up Sarah’s claims. Liz is still angry because they lied to her about the fact they were involved. Sarah apologizes. Lucky defends her. Liz is
not too impressed about that.

Alan tells AJ and Courtney that under no circumstances will they be allowed to live in the Q mansion. Courtney thinks that Skye is trying to sabotage her and AJ’s marriage. Skye is left alone in the room with Monica and Alan and she tells him that her only wish is to keep AJ from
completely self-destructing.

In the hallway, Edward announces that Courtney can have her whole pick of suites in the Q mansion. Edward trots off; Courtney tells AJ there is just no way she will agree to live there.

Carly tells Zander she wants to take him out for a thank-you dinner; the food can be his choice completely. Kristina enters Jake’s and tells Zander he was right and she was wrong. She tells him that he may
want to be a substitute for Sonny but there is no way in hell that she is going to be a substitute for Alexis.

Sonny and Alexis have entered his bedroom. He sits on the bed and asks her to come over. She sits down. He puts his hand on her neck. She says it’s sudden. He says ‘not for me’. They kiss. He unties the suit. They pull back. They kiss. She stands up and removes the suit. She
sheds it. She crawls onto the bed. He kisses her neck. Her breast touches his cheek

Act III
Jason tells Courtney about the heart surgery Michael had when he was an infant. Courtney gets tears in her eyes as she listens to Jason speak.

Carly and Sonny reassure each other. Emily shows up. Sonny asks her to stay with Carly because he has something to do. Emily stays. Emily reassures Carly.

Sonny thanks Sam for being there. Sam says she's taking off but she'll say a prayer for Michael.

Monica tells Carly and Emily Michael's condition. Suddenly the monitors go off -- and sound in the hallway, no less. Monica dashes into the OR. Sonny comes back and Carly tells him she thinks that Michael's heart just stopped.


Two years ago...
Act III
Liz tells Lucky how angry she is that he and Sarah felt the need to keep their feelings for each other, from her. He apologizes and begs her forgiveness for both himself and Sarah.

AJ tells Courtney he is sorry he assumed that she wouldn’t mind living at the Qs. He asks her to forgive him for being so presumptuous. Deciding to try, Courtney agrees to live there. Edward shows up and introduces Courtney to Alice, who has been instructed to give her a tour.

Skye tells Alan and Monica that AJ cares nothing about Courtney, and P.S. -- he is drinking again.

At Club 101, Porno! Maxie and Carly tell Michael that he can make a card for Uncle Sonny’s birthday. Porno! Maxie takes him out when Jax enters to talk to Carly. Jax tells Carly that Sonny, though flawed, has a few redeeming qualities.

Sonny and Alexis kiss on the bed. Sonny takes off his shirt; grabs her hand and presses it to his heart. He kisses her hand. He takes out her hair clip while she runs her fingers over his chest. He kisses her neck. She moans. They sink into the pillows.

Act IV
Sonny insists that Monica save Michael's life. Monica snaps. She tells them that Sonny stole Michael like he steals everything else, and that if he'd stayed with her son, or even with her family, this wouldn't be happening. She says that Michael wouldn't be found wandering around in the middle of the night; and that he wouldn't be shuffled from house to house around depending on who Carly's sleeping with and who's trying to kill Sonny. Monica storms off. Score one for Monica! Carly and Sonny are ticked.

Ric walks up to Sam on the boat. He asks why she's there. She tells him of Michael's surgery. Ric offers sympathy and says that he knows how much Sonny's children mean to him. Ric looks at Alexis meaningfully.

Dillon brings Georgie to his room, then takes off for food. Georgie uses her cell phone to call Maxie for a favour.


Two years ago...
Act IV
At the last minute Courtney agrees that it would be just fine for them to live at the Q mansion.

Monica asks Skye if she has ever seen AJ drunk. Skye pleads with Alan and Monica to believe that AJ is drinking again; she tells them that he feels indestructible, like nothing can touch him.

Jax tells Carly how AJ offered to trade Courtney for Michael at the wedding reception. Jax says somehow Sonny managed to keep himself from tearing AJ apart. Carly says this just must be killing him.

Meanwhile, Sonny, clearly not dying, is getting hot & heavy with Alexis. They kiss. Sitting, laying down; her on her back; him on his. Their hands are everywhere; in each other’s hair, on each other’s skin; in each other’s mouths.

Lucky tells Liz that he still wants to get back on track with her; that he wants them to be just like they were. She asks how he can possibly say that to her; she gave him every possible out, but repeatedly he said no. She tells him not to insult her intelligence by lying to her. Lucky begins telling Liz how the kiss with Sarah was initiated. Liz asks Lucky if this was the first kiss, or the first time he wanted to kiss Sarah. He admits to Liz that he wanted to kiss Sarah before, but that he didn’t. He admits that he would want to kiss her, if he had the chance. Liz slaps him across the face.

Act V
Nursing a drink at the bar, Sam doesn't want to talk to Jax when he walks up. She tells him Michael's in surgery but she left the hospital of her own accord.

Luke and Skye decide to get Faith.

Alexis tells Faith the only reason she took her case is to go up against Ric.

Luke & Skye send Faith an e-mail from Ross. Faith doesn't seem too concerned to be getting e-mails from a dead guy.

Luke gives Skye a lock and tells her to go lock the room where Ross is. Tracy looks on.

Mary and Nik return to the cabin where he prepares to make dinner and she prepares to take a shower.

Lucky shows up at the hospital to comfort Emily.

Michael is being given the stuff to clot his blood. Carly goes in to see him. Sonny complains to Jason that he has all the power and money in the world and he might as well have locked his son in the closet, given the powerless he made Michael feel.

Two Years Ago...
Act V
Liz tells Lucky she is getting on with her life. She says she is pushing him and Sarah out of her mind; she is free because she simply doesn’t care anymore.

Zander tells Kristina she is no substitute for Alexis. Kristina says that Ned is freaking out because Alexis’ loyalty to Sonny is still stronger than the history between her and Ned. Kristina doesn’t understand why Ned can’t just get over Alexis -- especially now that she has moved onto Sonny. Zander wants her to back up and go over the whole ‘Alexis moved onto Sonny’ thing again. He wants to know if Carly knows whether or not Carly knows.

Michael hands Carly the birthday card she made for Sonny. Porno! Maxie tells Carly how Michael was telling her how Uncle Sony [sic] takes them out on the boat in the summer. Carly says she will take the card over and Sonny will be surprised in the morning.

Basking in the afterglow, Sonny reaches for the remote control and turns on the stereo. A song plays that I am still unfamiliar with, after a year! Alexis rests her head in the crook between Sonny’s neck and shoulder, looking pensive. He strokes her arm gently as they lay wrapped together in the black satin sheets.

Act VI
Skye heads into the freezer to check on Ross. She pulls back the blanket and says "ew" as Tracy looks on.

Luke gets a message on Ross' palm pilot from Faith asking where he's been. Luke discerns this means that she's not the one who killed the cop.

Emily is really worried about Michael. Lucky comforts her.

Mary is in the middle of a relaxing shower. She opens her eyes and Nikolas, oozing sexuality, walks into the shower to join her.

Sonny says a prayer and swears to Michael if he wakes up, he'll make everything up to him if he gets through this. He says he'll find a way to make things work with Carly so that they can be a family again. Michael doesn't respond.

Carly complains to Jason that life isn't fair.

Sam opens the "Tru-Test" pregnancy package and looks pensive.

Two years ago...
Act VI
Alan defends Skye against Monica’s beliefs that Skye is lying. Monica tells Alan that she has been listening to what he has said. She then announces that AJ & Courtney are both welcome to move into the Q mansion. Skye and Alan look on, upset that Monica didn’t listen to her.

Jax shows up and Skye asks him to get her out of there; she has had no luck with AJ, Alan or Monica. Jax gives her a hug and they leave.

Kristina tells Zander she is pretty sure that Alexis and Sonny are a done deal, but Carly doesn’t know about it. Zander tells Kristina that she should be glad.

Carly enters the penthouse and is surprised to find it unlocked and empty. She calls Sonny’s name but there is no answer. She ascends the
stairs and hears music playing. She walks towards the bedroom.

Alexis and Sonny clasp hands. She leans up against his chest to hear his heart beating. They kiss. Carly observes in the mirror as the background music plays on.
