Act I
Mary finds Nikolas in the church again. She tells him he hasn't seen a doctor since he lost the VA hospital and she's worried. He doesn't want her to worry.

At the Qs Dillon tries to sneak out but Edward catches him. Emily, who's also there, tells Edward to cut Dillon some slack. Tracy and Ned show up. Tracy tells Ned he'll probably accuse her of double-crossing him but he says she did him a favor. Edward looks on with interest.

At the hospital Jason accepts coffee from Sam. Courtney shows up to see Michael but Jason says she should go home because she'll just upset Sonny.

Michael wakes up and sees Carly sitting by his bedside. He assumes his parents are back together. They do nothing to correct him. In the hallway the doctor says that Michael has improved. Sonny says they have to find a way to chat with him about the divorce before he runs away again.

Act II
At Kelly's, Kristina's grandfather hands Kristina's mother her food. Faith shows up and asks Alexis why she hasn't returned her phone calls -- seems she wants her to represent her in the money laundering charges. Alexis says no.

Courtney enters and directs a dirty look towards Alexis & Faith. She tells Mike that Jason won't let her see Michael.

At the hospital Sonny tells Carly he won't have Courtney near his sons. Carly legitimately asks Sonny how long it will be before one of the boys does something he deems unforgiveable and he cuts them out of his life? Sonny says that'll never happen but Carly's not so sure.

Michael tells Jason he needs to speak to Sam alone. She asks what he wants and he says he wants her to leave town immediately.

Ned announces he's leaving ELQ and re-opening L&B Records -- and he's taking Dillon along.

Act III
The lab tech asks Ric when he'll tell Sonny the truth. Ric says it could be any day now.

Michael tells Sam that his father's good at paying people to leave town. He says that Jason will pay her whatever she wants to get out. Sam leaves and tells Jason about Michael's offer. He tells her to name her price. She's disgusted.

Jenn shows up to see Courtney. She tells her of two offers on the waterfront property. The leading one is from a company no one knows anything about. Courtney wants to know who owns it before she sells the waterfront to them.

Ned tells the Qs that the happiest times he ever had were at L&B with Lois & Brenda. This time he's going to be behind the scenes. Dillon can even direct the videos. Dillon's happy; Tracy tells them to hold on.

Georgie asks Felicia to help change Mac's mind. Felicia says she has to respect his decision because she's been gone for so long.

Alexis agrees that while Faith might be entitled to a fair trial, she doesn't have to be the one to represent her. She turns and leaves, just narrowly missing physically bumping into Lorenzo who gives her a most interesting look as she exits. Faith tells him she needs help and wonders if he can provide it.

Act IV
Sam asks Jason, if she took the money, if he'd tell Sonny why she left. He says yes. She asks if he thinks she'll thank him. She says Sonny needs her and they're staying.

Sonny tries to explain what it means to be a family to Michael. Michael doesn't want to hear it.

Courtney tells Jenn and Justus, once she learns that the higher offer was from Sonny & Jason, that she will take the other offer instead.

Tracy tells Dillon that Ned won't trust him with money to make a video. Ned gives him pocket money; Dillon leaves. Tracy and Ned play the blame game.

Georgie tells Felicia that Dillon's precisely the kind of boy that she told her to wait for. Felicia says if that's true that Dillon will indeed wait for her.

Lorenzo tells Faith that their association is finished.

Act V
Dillon meets Georgie at Kelly's. He tells her that her parents will be happy to know he's not Dillon, loser screw-up, but rather new & improved Dillon -- uber-Director. She smiles delightedly.

At the hospital Sonny tells Michael that there is all different kinds of love. He wonders what that means and if his love for him will change. Sonny says that a parent's love for a child never changes. Suddenly Michael grabs his stomach and starts screaming about pain.

Lorenzo shows up at the hospital and when Jason won't fill him in on Michael's condition, Sam does. Jason tells him he can leave now. Lorenzo tells Jason it would behoove him to be a little nicer seeing as he's his landlord now -- he just finalized the waterfront deal with Courtney. Jason looks stunned.

At the PCPD Alexis is screaming at some guy. Ric shows up and she rails on him because he took Feldman off the case so he can prosecute it himself. He says it won't just be a mere slap on the wrist for her client now. He walks away; she narrows her left eye and looks at him.

Act VI
At Kelly's, Emily runs into Mary. They discuss their mutual loss. Emily tells Mary that she feels closer to Nik when she's in the chapel in the woods.

At the church, Nikolas asks the priest for guidance. He says he can't keep allowing his wife to support him financially -- he was in the army for God's sake -- it's just not right.

Emily shows up at the hospital and has a talk with Jason. Jason says yes, it does bother him a little that Michael is turning out like a mini-Sonny, although Sonny is the best person he knows. Jason says that he wishes Michael wouldn't go about things the way that he does, but he's doing everything possible to get what he wants, which is precisely what they've always taught him to do. He can't blame him for that. Jason says if he were to go into the room that Michael would use him as a way to hide from his parents. Emily says she'll go check on him. Jason is grateful.

Lorenzo talks to Sam about the deal and says if she wants to blame someone, to blame the seller who walks in just on cue.

Jason learns from Justus that unless something goes wrong in escrow, the deal's a go.

Jason asks Courtney why she sold to Lorenzo. She doesn't know what he's talking about. Emily rushes out and announces that Michael is having emergancy surgery.

Carly and Sonny reassure Michael. Michael is taken away. Carly wants to walk with him to the operating room but the doctors won't let her. Sonny comforts her.

Mary and Nikolas meet up in the church where he informs her that it's not right that she has to support him. He tells her the priest gave him a job painting the church.

At the PCPD Ric walks through a doorway as Alexis shoves a file smack-dab into his chest. They plea bargain her client and when it's over he says he looked forward to going up against her in court. Faith shows up and tells Ric she needs more time because she doesn't have a lawyer. Alexis informs Ric that she'll be representing Ms. Rosco. She walks out defiantly as Ric smirks.

Preview
Sonny tells Monica (outfitted in her surgeon gear) that she needs to everything necessary to save his son's life, as though Monica's big plan was to let the kid die on the table or something.

Emily tells Jason, Courtney and an eavesdropping Sam that Michael's condition has worsened and that the only possible way to fix it is for him to have surgery.

Tracy informs Skye that they need to have a chat.

Alexis, in glasses, looks on as Ric leans in and whispers conspiratorially that she's not nearly as good as she thinks she is. It seems as though she'd beg to differ -- she's just that good -- and better!
