Act
I
Sonny and Sam, having just made love, reiterate how much
they like each other.
Carly tells Leticia she thinks Michael left the note.
Michael lies unconscious in the well.
Lorenzo tells Courtney she's a principled woman and that's
why he's alive today. He always repays his debts. She suggests
he leave town. She gets a call from Carly telling her that
Michael disappeared and she can't find him anywhere. Lorenzo
looks on as Courtney leaves.
Nikolas asks Mary why he shouldn't go to the service with
her. She tells him that the dead guy's brother is a cop
and he'll be there. Nik points out the army and the local
cops are on different wavelengths and there's no danger
but she thinks there is.
At the service Emily wants someone to give her a sign. Jason
shows up. NewLulu shows up with Leslie. She doesn't understand
death. Suddenly Helena shows up. Lucky wants Lulu out of
there. Alexis and others look on.
Act II
Lulu, born August 8, 1994, doesn't look a day over eight.
Anyways...
Ric approaches Alexis and says how sorry he is. Sarcastically
she tells him she knows how close he and Nikolas were. He
points out that Nik was close with his wife who couldn't
be there. Alexis gives Ric her condolences on the end of
his marriage.
Ric approaches Audrey who tells him while the baby's fine,
Liz didn't mention him at all.
Dillon slides in and tells Justus and Skye not to tell Tracy
he's there. Tracy can't find him.
Luke tries to support Lucky, who's grateful.
Ned tells Tracy not to use this opportunity to sharpen her
claws.
Carly shows Courtney the note and they agree Michael wrote
it. They try to find him.
Sonny tells Sam he wants to give her something -- anything
she wants.
Nikolas grabs his coat and takes off.
Act II
Courtney tells Carly that they're going to have to call
Sonny or at least Jason because they won't be able to find
Michael on their own.
Sonny watches as Sam comes down the stairs. He tells her
that the dress he bought her definitely will help her do
Justus... er... she does it justice. They're about to head
out when the phone rings. Carly tells him, "um, I lost
Michael again".
At the memorial Alexis speaks about her nephew. She says
she was holding her daughter last night trying to think
of the best thing she could say about Nikolas. And she realized
it was his capacity for love. She says that he loved people
in spite of the fact they did everything to prevent it.
<she looks pointedly at Helena, conveniently seated beside
the other outcast, Mary>. Jason's cell phone vibrates.
He takes off. Helena watches as Mary leaves. Mary heads
off crying. Nikolas says she wants to tell them about the
man she loved, just as Nikolas hesitates outside and begins
listening.
Act IV
Emily gives her eulogy as Emily listens. Still promoting
Disney, Emily gives us her rendition of "someday my
prince will come". Luckily it's just spoken word. Alexis,
sitting by Audrey, has tears in her eyes as Emily speaks.
Helena suddenly stands up and says she's had enough of the
sanctimonious garbage and that she's vowing revenge on every
single person there. Does that mean Liz isn't subject to
that since she skipped the service?
Mary returns home and worries when Nikolas is gone.
Sonny shows up at Carly's door. She tells him Courtney has
the note. He turns around with his back to Courtney. Carly
sighs, retrieves the note, and gives it to him. Jason shows
up and plans to go check Michael's fort in the woods. Sonny
tells Carly that she knows Michael -- was that intented
to be a rhetorical question? -- and he won't give up until
he gets what he wants or he gets hurt. They have to present
a united front.
Act V
Sonny looks pointedly in Courtney's direction and instructs
Carly he needs to speak to her alone. Courtney leaves but
not before telling Sonny not to put his pride before the
welfare of his own kids.
In the woods Jason finds Michael's stuff but can't find
the kid. Michael's too weak to call for Jason loudly enough
so he can hear him.
Lorenzo tells some guy that he wants to acquire waterfront
property for his business. The guy says it won't be that
easy. Lorenzo instructs him to make it that easy.
Outside, Lorenzo runs into Sam who accuses him of having
stolen Michael. Lorenzo seems quite concerned and pumps
Sam for details.
Helena rails out at the memorial service against Luke; Alexis;
the Qs. Luke shuts her down, defending Alexis and Emily
and then suggests she leave. Before she goes, Helena does
manage to call Emily a mongrel child. Also the new Lulu
resembles a very young Amber Tamblyn circa 1995.
Mary asks Nik why he left and went to the memorial when
she asked him not to.
Act VI
Emily taunts Lulu with her engagement ring and tells her
that Nikolas gave it to her -- but if she makes it to her
twenty-first birthday, it's hers.
In the cabin, Nikolas tells Mary that he knows why she wanted
to keep him away from the memorial service -- because listening
to Emily's words had such a profound effect on him that
he knows now that must have been what it was like for her
when she was grieving him.
At the Qs Dillon tells Tracy he does not trust her now and
will never trust her again.
At the lakehouse Skye tells Luke that sometimes he's not
so bad. She gives him a quick kiss. He's flattered -- and
there's lipstick on his face afterwards.
Carly tells Sonny they have to do what's best for their
son.
Jason looks for Michael.
Michael is too weak to call out to Jason.
Ric meets with his guy who tells him that the paternity
tests show Ned as the father.
Alexis, looking gorgeous, breezes into Kelly's and past
Ric without a word or a look. Ric knows she's hiding something.
Preview
Jason calls out, "Michael can you hear me?" (Are
we to assume he's been practicing, listening to Barbra and
just substituting the name).
Sonny says to Carly, "you'd be with a man you hate
just so your kids would be happy?" (Wanna bet this
is followed by a "you're so strong and brave to agree
to that").
Ric approaches Alexis in Kelly's and asks her what Sonny
has on her.
Dillon tells Georgie he wants to start living in the moment.
Luke and Skye have Ross in the car (just like the time when
Nikolas and Lucky had Dead Rick in the car) as the police
ask them to pull over.
