Act I
Sonny asks Mike to choose between Courtney and him. Mike tells Sonny he's being incredibly selfish, self-centered and ego-maniacal. But to make him happy he will choose -- he chooses Courtney.

Jason tells Carly that he can't be with Courtney because she betrayed him. Carly tells Jason that he did things to Courtney everyday that made her angry but she always forgave him -- Courtney screws up once and he can't? Jason says it's a fundamental lifestyle difference but Carly doesn't buy it.

Michael decides to fake a ransom note. He realizes if he does that, it'll bring his parents back together. He can then "escape" from the bad guys and they'll be so happy he's all right that they'll reunite.

Nikolas asks for God's help in remembering who he was. The priest comes in and kicks him out because of the service. He drops his cross on the way out.

Emily and Lucky whine outside, then they walk into the church and whine some more. Emily is just out of range of seeing the cross Nikolas dropped.

Act II
Inside the church, Emily tells a disinterested Lucky more about her vows with Nikolas. She then tells him she has to touch the priest's base... er, touch base with the priest, and then she's going home to change. She wants Luke at the memorial. Lucky agrees to go with her to try to make that happen.

Skye and Luke discuss how they've got the dead cop on ice in a freezer. Flashback to the summer of 2000, anyone? They realize they have to move him and Luke decides to move him to another freezer -- though he doesn't know where.

Sonny congratulates Courtney on having been able to get Mike off his case. He turns to go. Sam wishes he'd stay and chat it up but he says no.

Carly tells Jason that Sonny's a control freak and it's over -- she just had one last thing to finish first. Even Jason points out she just contradicted herself. She storms off.

Act III
Sonny doesn't want to listen to Sam. He tells her to, like, go run up his credit card bill or somethin'. She leaves. Mike claps and congratulates Sonny for treating Sam like a high-class hooker. Carly shows up and tells Sonny that she's sick of the world according to Sonny. She says if he refuses to apologize to Courtney he won't be allowed to see his children.

Lucky and Emily have no luck persuading Luke to go to the memorial.

Nikolas returns to the cabin and is about to read about his own memorial service but Mary tells him not to.

Michael writes the ransom note "Dear Michael's Mom. I have your son". He reasons that in ransom notes one has to ask for a lot of money.

Act IV
Sonny tells Carly not to use the boys against him. Carly says that he's going to need to forgive the transgressions of those in his life if he expects to see his children again. He threatens to drag her back into court.

Mary lies to Nikolas and tells him a soldier from Albany was killed in Iraq. He reaches for her and finds she's shaking. She's afraid he'll abandon her if he can't remember. He wants her to give him the paper.

Luke tells Emily that he won't go to the memorial. She accuses him of being selfish & stuff.

Tracy sees Skye with the ice pick. Skye is trying to remember if she killed Ross. Tracy asks Skye if she's drunk... or considering using the ice pick on her.

Act VI
Nik wants to go with Mary to the service but she doesn't want him to

Luke shows up to accompany Skye

Courtney leaves Kelly's and spills her coffee. She throws it out and sits with her head in her hands. Lorenzo shows up and asks if he can help

Sonny tries apologizing to Sam. She accepts his apology and his flowers

Carly thinks the note from Michael is faked. Too bad Michael, in a scene straight out of Days Of Our Lives circa 1990 or All My Children (3 separate times), falls down a well and is rendered unconscious.
