Act I
Mary and Nikolas are about to make love but she stops. She's worried that things will be different. Nikolas says perhaps making love will trigger his memory. They kiss again when the lights go out.

Detective Duncan looks on as Skye (with Luke) gets progressively drunker. He heads over to Faith for his pay-off.

Skye tells Luke that Edward double-crossed her. He empties the liquor bottle into her glass.

Emily tells Lucky she wants a memorial service for Nikolas but not at Wyndemere.

Courtney invites Jason in and says she was on her way to see him. Jason says that he wants to spend every moment that he can with her.

Lorenzo topples over a bookcase and it lands on his head. He lays passed-out in a puddle of water.

Sonny asks Max to take the kids upstairs. Strangely he doesn't take Sam. Carly tells Sam to get out. Sam says she lives there. Sonny says Sam can stay for their conversation. She says she'll leave. Once alone, Sonny asks Carly what Lorenzo did to her. She says it's what she did to him.

Act II
Sonny surmises that Carly learned of Lorenzo's involvement in the limo bombing. He tells her that he found proof; she says she already knew.

The water rises as Lorenzo lies unmoving.

Jason asks Courtney if she's using their love as a way to distract him. She tells him she would never do that but she has to go do Carly a favor right now.

Emily tells Lucky how glad she is that he got to know his brother. They reminisce.

On the boat, Skye rails out in a drunken diatribe against the male species. Detective Duncan, Faith and Luke look on. She climbs onto the games table in her spiked heels and continues to complain. She then says she doesn't need anyone, jumps off, and storms off in a rage.

Act III
Carly tells Sonny the truth about how she caught Lorenzo in a lie. Sonny sends Max out to look for Lorenzo. Sonny asks Carly where he is. Carly looks away.

Courtney shows up to find Lorenzo in the water. She tells him who she is and asks if he can hear her.

Luke tells Faith that she's there because he likes having her around; she's exotic. However she's also an inconvenience and if she keeps up with the trouble he won't want her to stay.

Sam digs through her mini-purse to find enough money to buy her drink. Ric shows up and says this one's on him. I suspect if he insults her it WILL be on him -- literally.

Outside Kelly's, Skye drops her purse. The good detective shows up and she invites him to come home with her. He accepts.

Act IV
Emily tells Lucky she wants to keep the memorial service to herself, Liz and him. She then says she knows that Nik wouldn't want that.

Nikolas returns from outside. He asks Mary to dance. She tells him he was no Fred Astaire, but he did OK. They dance, their closeness evident.

Luke reiterates to Faith that when Skye returns things will be exactly as she left them.

Sonny gets a phone call. When it's over, he tells Carly that Lorenzo's stuff is still at his apartment; there's no indication he left town. He asks where he is and tells her he's sick of her protecting him.

Courtney frees Lorenzo. She pushes the bookcase over, with, like, two fingers. She drags him upstairs and asks him to breathe. He slumps over a chair. She holds him from behind. He spits out water. Jason shows up.

Ric asks Sam to go home with him. She tells him she wouldn't sleep with him if he were the last man on earth and he'll never win against his brother. Ric says that he'll dump her the first chance there's a glimmer of hope for him to get back with Carly.

Act V
Ross and Skye head back to her lakehouse. He tells her he's a detective. She asks if he has a weapon. He tells her he keeps it put away but won't hesitate to use it for special occasions. She tells him they should make this a special occasion. She rises out of her seat and kisses him fully.

Courtney spills her guts to Jason about the Lorenzo situation. Lorenzo, meanwhile, is still passed out. Jason dismisses Courtney. She can't believe he just did that to her.

In parallel conversations, Emily tells Lucky she'll have to learn to live without Nikolas while Mary tells Nikolas she'll have to readjust to having him back in her life. She knows that things can't be as they were; Emily tells Lucky she knows things can't be as they were. Suddenly Emily hears a song that was in her dream when she was in the hospital. She thinks that means Nikolas is thinking about her. Nikolas hears the same song. I, of course, don't hear the song, given that I'm seeing the Canadian-ized, Soapnet version of this. Is it a recognizable song?

Act VI
Jason insists Courtney go. She leaves. Jason holds a gun and a pillow to a passed-out Lorenzo. His cell phone rings. It's Sonny, telling him that Carly has Alcazar and he wants him to find him and kill him. Jason says it's done. Courtney hits Jason with a stick. He falls.

Luke wakes Skye up. He tells her she had quite a party. She tells him that she was with some guy. Luke says he's still there -- and indicates Ross' dead body.

ABC has turned into the WB, apparently:
