Act I
Carly asks Lorenzo why he didn't recognize the bomber's voice from the two seconds at the hospital wherein he asked for directions. Carly has flashbacks and remembers that the bomber was with Lorenzo for more than what would be required for directions. She says she's glad Sonny didn't listen to her.

Sam tells Sonny it would serve him right if she went upstairs and packed her bags and left. He asks if those are her plans. She reaches for his hand and smiles.

Lucky wants Ric to widen the search. Instead, Ric's narrowing it. He'd rather spend his time serving Sonny with a search warrant since this is the best chance they've ever had to nail him.

Justus tells Jason it'll be a hassle to change the divorce papers again to allot Courtney with alimoney. Jason doesn't care.

Courtney, chanelling Al Green, asks Mike how you mend a broken heart. He doesn't seem to have answers.

At the crash site Emily wants to know why everyone is leaving.

Mary tells Nik how much she's missed him. They kiss.

Act II
Lorenzo tells Carly he can't remember the timbre of the man's voice -- but he knew he had to try to protect her and her children.

Sonny tells Sam she looks innocent while she sleeps. (She's reclining on the sofa under a small blanket after a thankfully off-screen love scene). They're kissing when Ric shows up and says they don't have to get up as he knows his way around.

Mary and Nikolas head into the bedroom but she pulls back and says no as Nik looks confused.

Lucky and Emily decide to do another search around the woods at the crash site.

Jason shows up to see Courtney. She tells him she's not mad at him -- just at that tramp Sam. Jason and Courtney realize the problem isn't Sam -- it's their divorce.

Act III
Nikolas doesn't understand why Mary pulled back. She tells him that she should've realized that he's just going through the motions and doesn't love her. He tells her that he wishes he could simply open a door and get back all that he loved, and that perhaps in time he will. Mary says it doesn't matter because she loves him anyways.

Ric asks Sam if she's planning on servicing other clients this evening, or just Sonny. She tells him to watch his mouth. Ric tells Sonny that the PCPD intends to search every inch of this place and that he'd like him to come down to headquarters so that he can question him about the murder at Carly's house.

Jason and Courtney realize they don't want to get divorced but it's just something that has to happen. Jason gets a phone call and rushes off before he and Courtney get to the other more important, meaningful & emotional stuff.

Lorenzo tells Carly he doesn't want her to take him to bed out of pity. She tells him taking him to bed will make her feel better. Lorenzo's hand cups Carly's... assets... and she stands to turn the light out. He tells her not to. She asks how he knew what she was going to do and he says he can see her -- sorta.

Act IV
Jason shows up at the PCPD to see Sonny. Sonny tells him a lawyer likely won't be necessary. I beg to differ. I can think of one lawyer who Sonny should always find necessary. In any case, Sonny tells Jason to go to PH4 and tell Sam to wait. Ric tells Sonny he wants to make sure he goes to jail.

Lorenzo tells Carly he can see her shape silhouetted against the light. Everything else in the room is dark but her. She hugs him and tells him she's so relieved.

Sam descends the stairs in a royal blue shirt that's indescribable. Jason shows up and she tells him she's leaving; Jason tells her that Sonny wants her to stay.

Act V
At the PCPD, Ric suggests that Sonny was aiming for Lorenzo -- or possibly Carly, since clearly once wasn't enough. Sonny doesn't take the bait.

Liz orders two hot chocolates and Courtney tells her that Ric is harassing Sonny again. Liz tells her that not everyone stays frozen in the past -- if they did, she'd still be a two-bit stripper. Wow, 2 stripper references in one week. Liz leaves. Courtney smugly tells Mike that she wasn't telling Liz anything she didn't already know.

Sam channels The Clash, asking Jason, "should I stay or should I go"? Jason says he doesn't have an opinion so she asks again.

Lorenzo tells Carly he had given himself until June and if he was still blind, he'd let her go. Carly tells him she's proud of him. They make love.

Act VI
Courtney asks Mike if he's mad that she was mean to Elizabeth. Mike says she deserved it but suggests it had less to do with their feud and more to do with the fact that Liz is knocked up. Courtney says it hurts less now to see a mother with a baby, but she still can't help but imagine a kid with Jason's eyes.

Emily shows up to see Mary who's looking lovingly at a photo of her and Connor. She says she needs her help.

Nik's out walking when Lucky shines the flashlight towards him. The boys wonder who is there.

Sonny and Ric argue over a past neither can change. Ric tells Sonny that he's a better man than his brother because he's with Elizabeth even though she's carrying another man's baby. He says he can look in the mirror everyday and know that he's better than Sonny. Liz busts through the door after having been eavesdropping and asks Ric if that's why he's with her.

Sam asks Jason if she should stay and wait for Sonny or go because no one likes her and Jason seems like the most impartial of the people who know Sonny.

Carly wakes up and, like a squirrel on the search for a hidden nut, starts digging through Lorenzo's coat pockets. He wakes up and asks her what she's looking for.
