What began as a virtual baby shower for Alexis and her newborn turned into a nearly $3,500 donation to St. Anne's, a Los Angeles facility for at-risk young adults. "I have this network of angels doing these extraordinary, productive things," said Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis), surrounded by bassinets, infant swings, clothes, receiving blankets and more. Via two Alexis-themed Web site - JustBreathe and The Gate- a registry for baby Kristina was set up at The Baby Outlet and St. Anne's was chosen as the recipient of the gifts. "It's overwhelming," added Grahn when made aware of the effort. "The fans turned something they love to do--watching GH--into something that's productive and beneficial for other people." And they're creative, to boot, actually hiring a plane to toast GH's new arrival. "Somebody flew a banner over the studio! It said, 'Welcome to Baby Davis.' They do really clever, imaginative, big things."
