Alexis awoke and stretched her arms up over her head. Slowly she turned her face to the person sleeping next to her and smiled. He had done it again. Sonny, sometime during the night, had picked her lock, let himself into the
penthouse and crawled into bed with her. She softly chuckled to herself and gave Sonny a shove. "Hey," she said quietly.

Sonny grumbled and rolled over onto his back, bringing a hand up to rub his face. "What time is it?"

"Time for breakfast," Alexis replied as she snuggled up to him.

He moved closer to her and threw his leg over hers. "You're going to punish me for sneaking in here aren't you?"

Alexis laughed. "I wasn't planning on cooking if that's what you meant."

Sonny raised his head up and squinted at her. "Oh, I get it. He who breaks in makes breakfast."

Alexis nodded. "Those are the rules."

Sonny eased himself up into a sitting position. "That's a lousy rule...but given the alternative...I'll make breakfast."

Alexis clapped her hands together gleefully. "Good."

Sonny shook his head and glanced at her. "You only want me for my cooking abilities," he said as he got up from the bed and headed for the door.

"And the sex...don't forget the sex," Alexis called after him as he left the room.

"I feel so cheap!" he yelled back over his shoulder. He rounded the corner and then stuck his head back into the room. "Kristina?"

"At Ned's," Alexis assured him.

"Good," he replied and left to make breakfast.

Alexis showered, threw on her robe and headed downstairs for breakfast. She reached the bottom of the stairs to find Sonny setting her dining room table. She looked at the feast he had set out. There were two omelets sitting on individual plates, fruit of every origin sat neatly chopped up in a bowl and orange juice sat next to her steaming coffee mug. She pulled out a chair and sat down nodding her head in the direction of the fruit bowl. "I know that wasn't in my refrigerator."

Sonny smiled and sat down in the chair across from her. "Nothing on this table was in your refrigerator. I had to do a stealth mission over to my place."

Alexis blushed. "Your bodyguards are going to start talking about us soon."

Sonny chuckled. "I'm pretty sure they're aware of the situation already."

"Lovely."

Sonny shrugged as he stabbed at his omelet. "They have ears." He looked up at Alexis with a mischievous smile. "And you do make that high pitched squeaking sound..."

Alexis pointed a fork at him. "That's enough."

"Well, you do..."

"I do not squeak."

Sonny got up and moved toward the door. "Should we go ask Johnny out there?" he said as he reached for the door handle and turned it.

Alexis sprung from her chair. "Don't you dare."

Sonny opened the door and called out. "Johnny."

Within seconds the bodyguard was at the door. "Boss?" he said, trying not to notice that Sonny stood there in his boxer shorts.

Sonny grinned at Alexis than back to Johnny. "I'm curious...does Ms. Davis..."

Alexis rushed Sonny and stood between him and Johnny. "Does Ms. Davis have her morning paper out here. That's what he was curious about," Alexis said and glared at Sonny.

Johnny looked at the two people in front of him with a quizzical expression.

"Uh...yeah...I think it's over here on the floor," he said as he took a few steps away and retrieved the morning addition that lay on the floor. He handed it to Alexis. "Here you go."

Alexis grabbed it and gave Sonny a shove back into the penthouse. "Thanks Johnny. We won't be bothering you any more," she said and shut the door. She turned to Sonny who was already sitting on the couch with her remote in his
hand. "You are an ass of unmitigated proportions."

Sonny could barely contain his smile. "Come on...I was just kidding." He pointed at the screen. "Look...sports." He flashed the dimples. "You like sports."

Alexis raised an eyebrow. "I don't believe I want to watch sports with you today."

Sonny wiggled his eyebrows. "You know you want to," he said and patted the couch cushion next to him.

Alexis let out a puff of air and rolled her eyes as she plopped down next to him. "I hate you."

Sonny eased his arm around her shoulders. "You keep saying that and I'm going to start believing it."

Alexis shot him a look and then glanced at the television. "What is this?" she asked.

"What does it look like?" Sonny answered, not moving his gaze from the television.

"It looks like two extremely large men in diapers pushing each other around a circle."

Sonny nodded. "Yup...that's what it is."

Alexis looked at him. "Please tell me you are not going to make me watch sumo wrestling."

Sonny gave her a smirk. "What's wrong with that?"

Alexis threw up her hands. "Why do I even try to protest?"

Sonny laughed. "Sumo wrestling is an..."

"An ancient art...aren't they all," Alexis commented, rolling her eyes. "Just get on with it."

"Well, to start off, Sumo wrestling is the traditional national sport of Japan. It's like baseball or soccer here."

Alexis folded her arms across her chest. "Fascinating."

"Yeah...any way, a sumo tournament is called a Basho. A tournament consists of seven to fifteen bouts held over a two week period."

"So why the diapers?"

Sonny chuckled. "They're not diapers. The Rishiki ... literally meaning strongman...wear what's called a mawashi. That's the belt made of silk that's wrapped around them."

Alexis pointed at the screen. "Yeah? Well here's hoping neither of the Rishiki loses their mawashi or I'm going to get sicki." She grimaced. "So how does this whole match work?" she said, waving a hand.

"Well, the object is to get your opponent out of the Dohyo, or the ring that you see them standing in. You can also win by getting any part of your opponent's body to touch any area of the playing surface, with the exception of the soles of his feet."

"That's it?"

"That's it."

"That doesn't seem very exciting."

"It is, just watch."

They watched in silence as the two men began to sprinkle something on the mats.

"What are they doing?"

"It's an ancient custom to throw salt down onto the ring before a match. They do it for luck."

"Well here's hoping neither one of them has any cuts on the bottom of their feet."

Sonny glanced in her direction. "Someone is awfully surly today."

Alexis eyed him wearily. "You're still in the dog house after last week's boating debacle."

Sonny sighed and nuzzled her neck. "I thought we straightened that out."

"Oh, we did," Alexis replied tapping one finger to her temple. "It's still locked up in here though."

Sonny moved his mouth from her neck over to her collarbone and trailed a line of hot kisses up her neck to her chin. "I could show you another ancient art if this one isn't holding your interest."

"Really," Alexis purred. "Does this one involve wearing a silk diaper?"

Sonny sat up and looked at her with a smirk. "If that's what you're in to."

Alexis playfully swatted at him. "Pervert."

"That hurts counselor."

"The truth usually does," Alexis said, barely able to control her delight at Sonny's ministrations to her neck.

Sonny smiled and placing both hands on the sides of her face, pulled Alexis closer to him, taking her lips with his own. He pulled away gently, tenderness gleaming in his eyes. "What do you say counselor...want to go up to your Dohyo and battle this Rishiki?

Alexis looked at him for a moment before her dimples betrayed her. She leaned in close to his ear and lightly brushed her lips against his skin.

"Only if you leave your mawashi elsewhere."
