Emily tells Alexis she wants to have the memorial service in the church where she and Nikolas exchanged their vows. Alexis agrees that's a good idea. The Qs enter. Alexis passes Edward without a word. In the hall she meets Ned. She tells him how good Nik was to Kristina. Ned says he hopes this won't be too hard on 'their little girl'. She says in light of everything she has to ask him if he means that literally. Ned tries to lay a guilt trip on Alexis but it doesn't work. He tells her she's a good mother. She avoids a fight and says that she didn't even know she wanted to be a mother and now it's the best part of her world. Ned says that makes all their lies worthwhile. Alexis strides into Kelly's. Ric asks his guy about the DNA tests. The guy says Ned's name is on the birth certificate. Ric says that doesn't make it so. The dude takes off. Ric approaches Alexis who is reading the paper. He says he's got an offer for her. She wishes he'd step off a pier, however when he says it's about Sonny, her interest is piqued. Ric tells Alexis that if she gives him information she discerned from Sonny in a non attorney/client manner that he can use, he'll protect her. She refrains from actually laughing in his face but says she doesn't want anything to do with him or his brother's feud.

April 19, 2004
At the service Emily wants someone to give her a sign. Jason shows up. Lulu shows up with Leslie. She doesn't understand death. Suddenly Helena shows up. Lucky wants Lulu out of there. Alexis and others look on. Ric approaches Alexis and says how sorry he is. Sarcastically she tells him she knows how close he and Nikolas were. He points out that Nik was close with his wife, who couldn't be there. Alexis gives Ric her condolences on the end of his marriage. At the memorial Alexis speaks about her nephew. She says she was holding her daughter last night trying to think of the best thing she could say about Nikolas. And she realized it was his capacity for love. She says that he loved people in spite of the fact they did everything to prevent it. <she looks pointedly at Helena, conveniently seated beside the other outcast, Mary>. Jason's cell phone vibrates. He takes off. Helena watches as Mary leaves. Mary heads off crying. Emily says she wants to tell them about the man she loved, just as Nikolas hesitates outside and begins listening. Emily gives her eulogy as Nikolas listens. Still promoting Disney, Emily gives us her rendition of "someday my prince will come". Luckily it's just spoken word. Alexis, sitting by Audrey, has tears in her eyes as Emily speaks. Helena suddenly stands up and says she's had enough of the sanctimonious garbage and that she's vowing revenge on every single person there. Helena rails out at the memorial service against Luke; Alexis; the Qs. Luke shuts her down, defending Alexis and Emily and then suggests she leave. Before she goes, Helena does manage to call Emily a mongrel child. Alexis, looking gorgeous, breezes into Kelly's and past Ric without a word or a look. Ric knows she's hiding something.

April 20, 2004
Ric tells Alexis he subpoenaed the transcripts from the custody trial. Alexis tells Ric he can't use them against Sonny. Ric asks why she's protecting him -- does she fear retribution? Alexis denies Ric's accusations. She grabs her take-out and turns to leave. He still continues to taunt her. Alexis asks if Carly told Sonny the truth. Carly says she didn't because if she did, there wouldn't be any sort of court date -- Sonny would take her kid and leave the country & it's exactly what she deserves for keeping one secret from him. Ric eavesdrops. Carly tells Alexis the only reason she hasn't lost Kristina is because she hasn't said anything. Alexis tells Carly that she's a bad person and a bad mother. Naturally Sonny shows up to correct Alexis and educate her on Carly's virtues. Sonny says that Carly's there because she had to be dragged away from her child. He then asks where Kristina is; if Alexis even cares. Sonny then asks how far she's going to push him- until he sees to it that Kristina is with her father? Ric eavesdrops on the whole thing.

April 21, 2004
Sonny threatens to take Kristina away from Alexis just because he can. Ric steps in and asks if she wants to press charges. She says no. Carly says that Alexis is the one who should be arrested for harassing Sonny. She says that the lies should end now. Alexis looks at her. Alexis tells Ric, Carly and Sonny that what Ric might not know is that Michael was admitted to the hospital tonight and that she clearly picked the wrong time to go over something from the custody trial with Carly. Carly insists Alexis is still in love with Sonny. Alexis leaves and waits in the background. For Ric, perhaps? Once alone with the toxic twosome, Ric says he's sorry that Michael was hurt. Sonny tells Ric if he goes near Michael he'll snap him like a twig. Alexis is seated at Kelly's when Ric sits down. She asks why he's following her. "Is there a panic room in my future?," she queries. He smiles. He tells her she should understand about being pushed to the limits and going to extremes. She still wants to know what he wants. At Kelly's, Alexis is more interested in her palm pilot than Ric. He tells her she needs to put herself in a public bubble & take on some high-profile cases. She says as a matter of fact she just took Eileen Sheridan's case. Ric says it was armed robbery; Alexis claims police brutality. Alexis tells Ric it's always nice to see him (sarcastic of course), then leaves. He calls the office and tells them he wants to take on the case and prosecute it himself.

April 22, 2004
At Kelly's, Kristina's grandfather (Mike) hands Alexis her food. Faith shows up and asks Alexis why she hasn't returned her phone calls -- seems she wants her to represent her in the money laundering charges. Alexis says no. Courtney enters and directs a dirty look towards Alexis & Faith. She tells Mike that Jason won't let her see Michael. Alexis agrees that while Faith might be entitled to a fair trial, she doesn't have to be the one to represent her. She turns and leaves, just narrowly missing physically bumping into Lorenzo who gives her a most interesting look as she exits. Faith tells him she needs help and wonders if he can provide it. At the PCPD Alexis is screaming at some guy. Ric shows up and she rails on him because he took Feldman off the case so he can prosecute it himself. He says it won't just be a mere slap on the wrist for her client now. He walks away; she narrows her left eye and looks at him. At the PCPD, Ric walks through a doorway as Alexis shoves a file smack-dab into his chest. They plea bargain her client and when it's over he says he looked forward to going up against her in court. Faith shows up and tells Ric she needs more time because she doesn't have a lawyer. Alexis informs Ric that she'll be representing Ms. Rosco. She walks out defiantly as Ric smirks.

Faith tells Justus that Alexis is representing her. Justus asks Alexis why and if she knows what she's getting into. Alexis isn't scared. Ric shows up. She tells him that she's going to prove entrapment. Ric says it won't be that easy. Ric and Alexis banter some more. Faith claims she's completely an innocent victim and Alexis must keep her eyes from rolling down the street. Alexis tells Faith the only reason she took her case is to go up against Ric.

May 6, 2004
Alexis thrusts her briefcase at Ric as she struggles to hold Kristina and all her belongings. Kristina gets marker on herself and Alexis. Emily shows up to babysit. Alexis takes off. Ric tells Emily that Kristina has curly hair like her mother... and like Sonny. Alexis thanks Emily and the camera shows the blue marker on her shoulder. Skye says hi to Kristina and Alexis tells her to stay away. Ric tells Alexis, in turn, to stay away from Skye. Faith shows up and inquires about the crayon on her shoulder. Alexis tells her she bought it this way and that she can't wait to beat the pants off Ric. Ric and Alexis exit the courtroom. He seems transfixed by the stain on her shoulder. She covers it and looks at him. She mentions it seems unethical for him to prosecute a woman he slept with. He says he explained that to the judge and she's all good with it, and that if Alexis focuses on it, it'll make it seem as though she takes an unhealthy interest in his sex life. She calls him a pompous ass and he grins. Alexis tells Faith that she can't wait to beat Ric - she can do it "in my sleep". Faith isn't so sure but admires Alexis' confidence.

May 11, 2004
Ric and Alexis are at court when he gets a phone call from Audrey informing him Elizabeth had a baby boy. He's unsettled and Alexis makes an effort to be nice to him. Unfortunately he uses this as a chance to bring up Kristina's paternity and she wonders why she tried. In court, Alexis cross-examines Ned and makes it appear as though he and Faith were out to get Sonny, and when it didn't work, he turned on Faith out of revenge. Afterwards, Ned asks Alexis if she's trying to get him to say that Sonny is her baby's father. Outside the courtroom Ned tells Alexis that Sonny's a smart man & he's got spies everywhere & she really needs to be more careful or he'll rip that baby girl right out of her arms. He exits; Alexis looks worried; Ric watches Alexis. Sonny shows up at the courthouse and Ric says that while he has nothing directly to do with the case against Faith, Alexis is Faith's lawyer and there's just no better way to throw her off her game. Sonny walks into the courtroom and looks smugly at a panicked Alexis. Sonny smirks the whole time Ric questions him. Ric's last question to Sonny is for Sonny to tell him about the sexual relationship he had with the woman sitting at the defendant's table. Alexis looks stricken; Faith looks bored; Sonny looks like he can't wait to spill.

May 12, 2004
Sonny, smiling, tells the court that he slept with Alexis once. Alexis, mortified, tries to save a smidge of her pride by objecting but the judge -- probably hard-up for a sex life of her own -- insists on hearing all the gory details offered up by Sonny & Ric. Sonny testifies that Faith out & out told him that she bought into the "Haunted Star" to launder money, and that she didn't mention Luke or Skye. Faith tells Alexis she was so distracted by Sonny that she didn't do her job. As Sonny goes to the hallway Alexis follows him. She tells him she's going to lead him into a way to retract his testimony on the stand. He asks if she wants him to lie. She tells him he'd better or else she'll rip him to shreds. Alexis listens as Sonny tells her he's not afraid of her; he won't let her break him. He says her best bet is to ask him a few innocuous questions and get him off the stand before he does further damage. She leaves. Back in court, Alexis asks Sonny if he has a problem with anger; if he ever breaks things; loses time; loses his reason; if he's been arrested for RICO violations. Sonny says that he's never been convicted because he always had such a great attorney who believed in him and called him a good and principled man. Alexis says she has no further questions for him. Faith asks whose case she was just trying 'cuz it sure as hell wasn't hers. Ric asks if this spectacular attorney that got Sonny off is in the courtroom and Sonny points to Alexis. A single tear trickles out of her eye as she quickly puts her glasses on and hides it. Alexis tells Ric that the trial isn't fair and he knows it. He asks if she always treats the men she's in love with as though she were a nine-year-old. She doesn't enjoy the comparison and tells him not to blame his courtroom impotence on her. He says if she wants to ask him out for a drink, all she needs to do is ask. Alexis storms off. Faith accuses Ric of flirting with Alexis.

May 19, 2004
At the PCPD, Faith and Ric discuss Alexis. Faith remarks that Sonny clearly took Alexis over the moon, at least for one night, and asks Ric if that's what he wants to do too. Ric says she's a criminal who should be off the streets but Faith thinks there's more to it. Alexis visits Courtney. She tells her that she's doing legal work for Jax. She says that Sonny and Jason and their cash have to stay out of her business. Courtney scoffs "but of course". Alexis suggests Carly stay out of it, too. Courtney is angered. Ric shows up and says he thinks Courtney is using the foundation as a front for the mob. Alexis looks annoyed. Alexis accuses Ric of making work that he's not supposed to be doing, his, just to get under her skin. They argue. Courtney tries to kick them out and Ric says this is just Alexis' mating dance. Alexis tells Ric he needs a court order to look at those papers. He says he'll get one. Alexis offers to represent Courtney and her foundation and she says yes. Ric leaves; Alexis leaves soon after. Courtney asks Jax what just happened and Jax says he's not sure but he thinks it was beneficial to them.

Jax finds Courtney still waiting at the hospital. They're chatting as Alexis shows up to ask Jax about business. He tells her he can't now because he's waiting to find out if he's going to be a father. Alexis looks at Courtney as though he'd knocked up the blonde. When Jax outlines the whole "how to steal Sam's baby without messing up my hair" plan, and Courtney supports it, Alexis deadpans, "So Jax, you been taking misogyny classes from Sonny?" She then asks them if the mother gets a vote at all.

May 26, 2004
Alexis, wearing a dark suit and crimson-ish, satin-y blouse and glasses, shows up at the PCPD. Lucky tells Skye how lucky his father is to have such a smart, savvy attorney but Skye's not convinced. Alexis tells Ric that he's overstepping his bounds with Luke. Luke tells Alexis that Ross is dead and Skye didn't do it and he doesn't think Laura did either. Luke doesn't elaborate. Luke asks Alexis to get Lucky out of the situation too. Ric tells Skye that once they find Laura she has to agree to press charges against Mrs. Spencer. Skye's deciding when Alexis emerges and threatens Ric. At the PCPD Lucky is being arrested. Skye's glad that Emily showed up when she called. Skye tells Emily to get Lucky out of town. Alexis asks what it will take to get Lucky released. Ric lists his demands, among them, for someone to be responsible for Lucky. Alexis places her arms around Emily and suggests her because she's a nice responsible girl. Ric agrees. Luke's glad that Lucky won't be arrested.

May 27, 2004
Luke tells Alexis to massage the truth and get him the hell out of there. She tells him it'll be hard. She asks Ric to get this over with now; he accuses her of wanting to spend time with him. Luke wants Skye to help him escape but she says no. Alexis returns and tells them that the hearing is set for tonight. Afterward, Alexis apologizes to Luke because he didn't make bail. He tells her that's OK. Skye passes by with a bouquet of flowers -- and a wrench.

May 28, 2004
At the PCPD, Alexis and Ric argue. He says she looks flushed and questions her as to whether or not it's because she can't wait to go "up against him" again. She calls him disgusting. Tracy shows up to chat with Ric. He eases Alexis out of the way; she tells him not to touch her. Tracy shows Ric the incriminating photos of Skye with Ross. Alexis tells Skye not to answer Ric's questions but she answers anyway. Ric produces the logbook from the Montreal sanitarium and illustrates that Skye visited Laura three times in the last four months. Ric outlines why he thinks Skye visited Laura three times. His idea is that the whole thing was a plan dreamed up by Skye to get Luke for herself. Alexis thinks this is ridiculous and Skye gets scared. Skye looks increasingly panicked when Ric produces the photographs of her with the body, and continues to accuse her. She looks to Alexis for guidance, who actually looks pretty nervous too.

May 31, 2004
Skye tells Ric she wants a moment alone with her client. Alexis tells Skye to quit covering for Luke. Skye wonders why Alexis is covering for her when she hates her so very much. Alexis tells Skye all the reasons they don't get along -- but then tells her that she thinks she's innocent and she won't let her go to prison. She also says that Ric's an idiot and she can't wait to go up against him in court. Robin & Nancy are facing each other for this scene and it's so cute because you can totally tell they'd probably be closer -- except for Robin's belly being in the way. Alexis emerges from the interrogation room and tells Ric she wants things to happen quickly tonight with Skye's case. Ric accuses her of flirting with him and suggests she just ask him out for a drink. She looks at him like he's nuts. Alexis is triumphant when she wins and Skye's bail is set. Skye tells Alexis she'd rather stay in jail because it's safer. Alexis brings Jax in to visit Skye and tries to get him to "talk some sense into her". Skye says she's afraid because Lucky and Luke are gone and she has a crazy woman stalking her. Alexis calls to check on Kristina but learns she's already gone to bed. Ric encourages her to go have that drink with him. She agrees.

June 1, 2004
Ric and Alexis go out for dinner. He predicts what she'll eat -- something bland and boring -- kind of like her lot in life. She surprises him by ordering the wine special. Ric drops "Harvard" for the seventh time during their date. Alexis runs off a list of her degrees and tells him that she doesn't feel the need to speak of them as often as he apparently does. Especially since she has more and hers are bigger. He asks how old she thinks he is when she accuses him of being immature for his age. She tells him he's old enough to know better. Alexis explains to Ric about Sonny. She says that it was his dark soulful eyes that attracted her to him. Ric doesn't get it. She says it's like riding down the highway in the dead of night in a limo without headlights. He asks if she could take it back, would she? She says she'd take back all but one night. Ric assumes this night is the night she slept with him but she says it's Puerto Rico. Alexis accuses Ric of being narcissistic. He asks her to dance. They dance and she's pleasantly surprised when he's so good at it. She looks perplexed and he asks what's wrong- she admits she thinks he's a better dancer than his brother. The room applauds as Ric dips Alexis. He tells her the applause was for her. She says she has to go. He wants to take her home. She makes him promise there won't be any funny business. He says he's really not that funny. She agrees to let him take her home.

June 2, 2004
A barefoot and hung-over Alexis wakes up to Kristina making noise. The sitter tells Alexis "that nice man Ric Lansing brought you home". Alexis reads a note from Ric telling her that Skye's bail hearing is at 9 AM. She heads off to get ready. Alexis comes tearing out of her bedroom all "Risky Business"-style in a pale blue/gray suit. She tells Kristina to turn off the TV and read a book. She's about to turn it off when she sees Ric in the middle of giving a press conference. "He has a hickey!" she screams incredulously. Alexis pulls her shirt up over her exposed bra as Skye looks on, bemused. She asks what's going on and Alexis says she has it all under control. She takes Ric aside and says to him "Nothing happened last night. Right?" He asks if she's asking if he took advantage of her inebriated state. She looks slightly worried. Skye wonders what's come over Alexis. Alexis goes to talk to Ric and is fixated upon his neck. He asks if he cut himself shaving. She can't ask what she wants to ask. He points out her two different-colored shoes. Alan and Edward show up and talk about how Alexis will fix things right up for Skye. As soon as the proceedings begin Alexis drops a stack of papers and Ric "helps" her pick them up. Ric makes kissy faces at Alexis as she's speaking. She cuts off quickly and the judge thanks her for her uncharacteristic brevity. Skye is released into Alan's custody. Alexis takes off in hot pursuit of Ric and asks if they kissed last night. He tells her to try real hard and she might be able to remember. Alexis returns home and has a flashback of last night; Ric leaving. She smiles. She flops down on the couch and has another flashback -- this time she pulls him in for a kiss and they fall unceremoniously onto the couch, her first, him on top. Her hands are around his neck; his hand moves to her shoulder. She wakes up, horrified.

June 4, 2004
Alexis in a chocolate brown dress, elegantly low-cut, with neckline that goes behind her neck, reassures Alan about Skye's case. Edward tells her that he thinks she'll tank the case. She says she won't. Ric shows up and even sober, Alexis finds it impossible to pronounce the word narcissistic. Ric is amused. Sonny tells Alexis that anything he told her when she worked for him is protected under lawyer/client privilege and that she could be disbarred if she tells Ric. Alexis reassures Sonny that she and Ric have never been on the same side of any issue and his sole purpose is to antagonize her. Sonny says that she always thought she was smarter than everyone else, and Ric feels the same way. They should get along fine. At the party, Alexis tells Sonny and Ric that people are starting to stare and that she doesn't want this ruined for Courtney. They break it up. Sonny exits and heads over to Jason while Ric accuses Alexis of using every excuse possible to get closer to Sonny.

June 7, 2004
Courtney asks Jax if he donated the cheque. Ric intercedes and wants proof that the money came from Jax or else the whole charity will be frozen for months. Alexis steps in and explains that Jax will have the proof tomorrow. Alexis rubs Jax' shoulders and arm and asks if he's OK. He says he's fine. She asks if he took credit for something that he didn't do. Jax tells her it's complicated and he'll explain it another time. He exits. Ric shows up. Alexis tells him he just cost the foundation a million dollars. Ric wants to dance. Alexis says she'd rather not. He continues to flirt. Alexis runs into Ned who immediately tells her that Ric is staring at her. He says he doesn't understand the attraction, but then thinks about it and points out all of Ric's similarities to Sonny. Alexis denies being involved with Ric. A waiter comes up and compliments Alexis on her tango with Ric the other night. Ned laughs and she walks away. Ric drives Alexis home. At her apartment he teases her about wanting a goodnight kiss. She wants him to go. Alexis tells Ric that she doesn't feel any passion for him; he has the depth and IQ of a simian. In order to prove it she walks across the hall, reaches for him and places her lips on his. Her hair is completely blocking the camera angle so we can't see anything much in terms of the liplock.

June 8, 2004
In a different camera angle than yesterday we see Alexis kissing Ric. She then tells him it meant nothing. He steps in to try again but she says no. He backs away. She tells him that the very fact that he pretended this meant something clues her in to the fact he has an agenda. She tells him to go. She heads inside to ponder. Outside, Ric looks like he's surprised by the outcome of this evening. Alexis, having changed into a peach shirt she wore in October and December, answers the door and lets Emily in. She talks about how Helena is going to gain control of the Cassadine estate. Emily says that won't happen since Nikolas didn't really kick the bucket. Emily tells Alexis about Nikolas' life since the night of the accident. Alexis tells her that they have to tell Helena that Nikolas is alive before she steals the estate. Emily tells Alexis that's just not possible. Alexis finds a set of keys. She's like, "oh, great, now I gotta deal with this". Ric heads into "The Cellar". He wants the female bartender to do him a favour. Alexis calls and this woman answers the phone. She hands the phone to Ric who feigns sleepiness. Alexis hangs up. After hanging up, she heads out her balcony and throws the keys into the great beyond and looks mighty pleased with herself. In the courtroom Ric asks Alexis if she found his keys. She says no. He explains he spent the night at a friend's house because he couldn't get into his building. He then tells her he knows it was her who called. She's all about denial. Alexis tells Ric she wouldn't sleep with him if her only other option were death. She takes off. Lucky asks Ric if he's going to be able to prosecute Skye or if he's too busy antagonizing Alexis. Alexis asks Skye why she's late. She said she was having a fashion crisis. Alexis says that ought to be the least of her worries. Skye tells her when she was on trial for murder, she wasn't all calm either. In the courtroom the second bail hearing begins. Ric states that Skye shouldn't be granted bail because she's a flight risk. The judge allows Skye's bail to stand but sets the trial for Thursday June 24. Afterwards, Ric tells Alexis he's got an open & shut case & urges her to take the deal he's going to offer. Ric approaches Alexis and tells her that he'll let Skye off with second-degree murder, out in 15 years. He's pretty smug and she's pretty determined she can get Skye off. Ric grimly tells her that she could get a lethal injection. Alexis tells Skye about the deal. Skye won't take it because she's not guilty and she's really worried that something happened to Luke.

June 16, 2004
Nikolas starts to have a thought but it's gone before he can finish it. He paces around the main room of Wyndemere. Emily begins to uncover something from under a sheet when Alexis shows up and calls "Connor" Nikolas. He asks what she just called him. Connor politely asks Alexis why she called him Nikolas. She fumbles for an excuse. Emily asks him to go get her purse! Alone with Emily, Alexis tells her it's great that at least his manners are still intact. She asks if she's sure she wants to handle things this way and Emily says yes. Ric makes a snide remark to Justus and Jen. He then trots off to insult Alexis. She sits at a table alone. Ric sits at a table alone. Carly shows up and sees the two of them and Faith. She tells Faith she wants her gone immediately. Faith and Carly taunt one another. Faith shoves Carly twice. Alexis and Ric look on. Carly shoves Faith back. She falls and hits her head on the bar. Ric feels for a pulse and suggests Alexis call 911.

June 17, 2004
Faith is taken to the hospital. Ric wants to arrest Carly. Alexis tells Ric he doesn't have a case. Carly wants to know why Alexis is defending her. Alexis tells Carly that Ric needs to remember he's a public servant and that he can't railroad innocent citizens. Carly says if she wants to make this go away, she's welcome to do so. Ric wants Alexis to take a walk with him down to the PCPD as Carly pours drinks. Faith wakes up to Alexis, Carly & Ric surrounding her. Ric tells her he can make a case against Carly. Alexis tells him not to put words in Faith's mouth. Faith says nothing would give her greater pleasure. Alexis and Ric leave Faith's room. Ric goes to the cellar and sees Alexis there. He says he wants revenge on Sonny because their mother liked him best. Ric talks about the crappy life he had because his mother chose Sonny instead of him. Tears in her eyes, Alexis shows empathy. They then leave the bar and head to the park where they run into Liz and her kid.

June 18, 2004
Liz tells Ric & Alexis that her baby Cameron couldn't sleep. Alexis suggests the vacuum cleaner. Alexis holds the baby, then Ric does. Alexis tells Liz she'll leave her and Ric alone but Liz says she actually has to be going. She leaves. Alexis asks Ric why they broke up. He says it's because of his grudge against Sonny. Alexis asks Ric if he wants to talk about what went wrong in his marriage. He grows defensive. She takes off.

June 24, 2004
In court, Ric paints a picture of Skye as a viper, a desperate woman who was so in love with Luke that she'd obliterate Laura to get to him. Jax testifies that Skye said she might've killed Duncan. Tracy, Edward, Emily & Lucky look on. Alexis and Ric are rude to one another and the judge tells them to get things under control. Ric and Alexis show up on the docks and Nico and Faith hide, realizing Ric & Alexis are the perfect witnesses. Alexis tells Ric that his attitude will get them both thrown out of court. He accuses her of having feelings for him. "Yuck, yuck, yuck," she says. Faith shows up. Shots ring out. Alexis looks mildly inconvenienced while being shot at. Afterwards, Faith tells Ric it was definitely Sonny. She takes off after Ric promises to investigate. Ric rubs his hand along Alexis' back. Her eyes widen and he withdraws it. She's hoping he'll call off the rest of the trial to go get Sonny but no such luck. Ric gets Skye to admit she loves Luke and would trust anything he says. The courtroom erupts.

June 24, 2004
On the stand, Skye admits she loves Luke. Ric tries to use this to his advantage. A recess is called. Alexis tries to convince Lucky to testify on Skye's behalf. Lucky testifies that he thinks it's out of character for Luke to stay away from court like this, and that he doesn't think Skye did it. Alexis is pleased by said testimony, as is Skye. Alexis places a gentle hand on Lucky's shoulder and thanks him for his testimony. He tells her that he knows it was the truth and that Skye didn't do it. Alexis tells Emily that Lucky did great on the stand. Alexis tells Emily perhaps they should tell Lucky that Nikolas is alive.

June 29, 2004
Alexis goes over to visit Skye. She sees the blood on the rug and Skye says she can't get it out. Skye thanks Alexis for defending her. Alexis tells her she can thank her when she's acquitted. Heather watches the women leave and once they're gone, she heads inside and smashes a photo of Luke & Skye. Alexis and Skye show up. Alexis asks Jax to take Skye inside. Alexis tells Lucky she'll have to cast suspicion on Laura to get Skye off. Alexis admits that Skye is flawed but says she's no killer -- the real murderer is Laura. Ric takes his turn and says that Skye is indeed a killer. Alexis tells Ric that Skye's innocent. The jury returns with a verdict. Skye asks if this is a bad sign. Alexis doesn't answer. Skye is led away in handcuffs after Alexis reassures her that the verdict won't stand.
